One of our go to places to get things for our home. This trip we ran out of paint for our porch. The associate actually helped us from start to finish. We took a picture of our paint can including the tag of color we used. The can looked different and it was a different style can as well. So glad we came back and everything matched well. I purchased a brand new Ryobi pressure washer a month and a half ago. I have used it a total of three times to wash my truck the last time washing it which was yesterday it kept shutting off and then finally it shut off and the motor locked up, checked the oil and there was oil in it and it was at the level it should be at. I took it back to the store right around the corner on ridge road And tried to get help and they were very rude and pretty much told me there was absolutely nothing they could do I'm so upset, and I'm never gonna shop at This location again and it's so close to my house. Since there is nothing better to do I figured now would be the time to give the house some TLC. I went on the Home Depot website and noticed that they were doing curb side pickup & the store closes at 6 for restocking and sanitation. I placed an order online for some paint and sand paper. Everything was in stock at the store. I got an email telling me to wait until I got a follow up text or email that the items are ready for pickup. After 7PM I got an email stating that "part of my order was ready for pickup" and that I needed to get my items before the store closes the same day. Uh but the store is already closed and why is it only partially ready? I called the next morning and got hung up on after being on hold. I called again in the afternoon and asked if my order could be picked up. The rep said yes everything would be ready. I showed up at 4:30 and pulled into the curbside pickup lane. I didn't get a hold of someone on the phone until 4:50 and my items didn't make it into the car until after 5. I will say for a Thursday night Home Depot was bumping. At the end of the day it certainly wasn't the smoothest or most convenient purchase but I did get my items within a day and didn't have to walk into the store. read more

Stopped by today to check out some new plants to feed my plant addiction. Grabbed a huge monster deliciosa for $15 which was a steal. They've had a great selection of plants lately for very good prices. My only problem is that they overwater everything so half the plants I buy die and have to recover because they've rot already. read more

Home Depot service depends on who you talk to and why? One of the worst experiences I had was buying a refrigerator. The only available person at the time I was there was a manager. He was unloading a truck and had to stop to "help " me! He wasn't helpful at all complaining that he had to get back to unloading the truck. He finally told me to go to LOWES which I did! Not only did I get top notch service to buy the refrigerator but I went straight to Lowes when my stove and dishwasher were replaced a few months later! 1 star The garden department is great! Very helpful and a nice variety in products 5 star. Paint department is great too. Actually anyone but that appliance manager. I did report him to customer service and to cooperate. read more

The customer service at this location is seriously lacking! Every time I'm there and can't find someone to help they're too busy. One night I went in to buy 2 pvc parts and was paying cash they had 1 register ope that was taking cash I waited in line for more than 30 minutes and today I'm short on time so I ordered online for curbside pickup and when I contacted the store through my email I waited 30 minutes then resubmitted it then waited another 10 minutes and called the store to be told their stuff wasn't working?!? How many cart people walked by and not one said hey our system is down can I get your information?!? read more

I don't know what happened, but when i went to Home Depot to pick up an online order and just one bad thing after another was happening. The customer service desk was checking people coming in to make sure they have masks and "asked" me if i would like one (more like soft intimidation). I said sure, but had difficulties getting it on while i was walking up. They literally would not serve me until i put the mask on completely. And i've gone to the store several times before without a mask without this problem. Then, they didn't even have my order ready, even though i had bought it a week before and received a text message saying the order was ready from the store. Some whole hullabaloo happened with my order being moved around, plus some products not even being picked out. The staff literally went and picked out the pieces after i was under the impression it was all ready. I'd even be able to stand the order issues without the mask problem. But both combined really pissed me off. Never had any problem before, but this is the last time i'm going to home depot. Even if i have to drive a little further to the Lowes read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience with the Home Depot on Ridge Road. Sales, then delivery then service were horrible. I had to ask the BBB for assistance in advocating for me to be treated fairly. I was buying over $3k in kitchen appliances, some of which could not be installed in my home and that they then would not return. The delivery process was absurd, requiring me to take 3 days off from work. In the end, I went to Lowe's to finish my project and got stellar service. I will not shop at Home Depot again after this experience. The BBB was a great help. read more

A friend of mine needed to pick up some pre-treated lumber for a stairs repair project she is having someone do. She was armed with the actual specs of the lumber needed. I went along because my Jeep Wrangler, without it's top, would be able to haul the large pieces of lumber sticking out the top and attached to my rollbar. I wasn't really all that interested in the process of acquiring this lumber but as I tagged along with the lumber cart I noticed that she had requested help from two employees and neither was able to help. Finally a "so called lumber expert" was called in to assist with the dimensions necessary. She reiterated her numbers, I'm using 12 x 8 x 12 here and I don't honestly know if that was the actual board dimension, and I hear the expert say that he's never heard of such a type of board. I happen to glance over his shoulder and lo and behold what do I see - a huge sign listing the exact dimension she needed with all the boards stacked neatly below the sign. OK, neither she nor I saw the sign however I wasn't really looking for it. Doesn't excuse this expert from knowing his product as well as product availability. He didn't say anything just proceeded to pull out necessary pieces. I've shopped at this store before and this is typically what I come up against if I ask for help. Several weeks ago I sent my daughter in to pick up a 6" x6" end post cap. She came home empty handed. Got my cap elsewhere. As I perused the stacks of lumber I saw a whole section dedicated to end post caps in a variety of sizes and makes. Oh well. Expect nothing and you will never be disappointed. read more

Of all the Home Depots in the area, this is the one to go to. Although if I had a choice, I would stay away from all of them. It's so obvious that they pay their employees minimum wage. No one ever seems like they want to be there. You used to be able to go into Home Depot and talk to a retired plumber, or an electrician that has worked in the field for years, now all their staff comes right out of high school with little to none experience. I don't trust the advice from at 18 year old on how to wire my entire house without starting it on fire. Not to mention, its getting to the point where you can't find help that speaks english....or isn't mentally challenged. They are trying to get their tax write off. Home Depot is a joke. read more

Prices are good here but the service is lousy. Several times this spring my wife and I have shopped here and chosen to check out at the self check out station. And each time the clerk monitoring this station has snuck up on us and, while we were scanning our items, reached into our cart and started scanning some of them--as if we asked for or needed help: as if we looked like thieves or acted like morons, neither of which is true. We complained to Home Depot corporate about this a few weeks ago and were told something would be done, but obviously nothing has changed here. So from now on we are going to Valu Home Center on Abbot Road when we need wood or flowers or tools for work around the house. It's more expensive then Home Depot but overall the experience is far better. read more

I had to replace a smoke and CO detector that is hard wired. Get it home and find the base was damaged and a date written on it. This is not the first time I've had this issue with Home Depot. If you buy anything from them open it and make sure all the parts are worth it as well as making sure it wasn't installed and damaged, then returned. From here on out I'll go to Lowe's. read more

Had bought a paint sprayer from this place for 150, it wouldn't work so we brought it back and told them, they worked it and said that it worked even thought it really didn't so we said we just want our money back. They proceeded to tell us that they were gonna charge us 100$ because it wasn't cleaned . They have the worst customer service in town and scam people on the daily. read more

This one is the worst ever I have been in home deport. The workers definitely is want to do as less as possible, they are no useful ,no helpful ,and rude. Discriminations too. They saw a white person they will try to help but if you are not white they answer you differently. Don't go this one go other location they are much better servers . Ordered blinds ....when they got delivered wrong color wrong size .do they not know how to use a measuring tape .very dissatisfied .

Never ever pay the $35 for floor measurements or even bother to have a quote done. When the gentleman showed up he told us we wouldn't actually get the information but only how many sq feet they decide to sell you. The floor being covered is vinyl about 10 years old with new sub floor at that time. It is in excellent shape but needs an update. For a kitchen floor the install estimate is $2400! This doesn't include all of the materials or anything else they decide to bill you for. For maybe 3 hours of work $2400!! I don't think surgeons even get paid that much. They should be ashamed of themselves!!! read more

I have gone to this location numerous times and have been treating great every time. I was there on 11/29/15 at 9:30am and I was at customer service. I was picking up an online order the transaction went smooth and the associate was great. There was a IRATE customer there returning a couple products who was the most rude and inconsiderate person I have ever seen. He was swearing at the associate and then the manager, Both who handled the situation wonderfully. I give both of them credit for staying composed. I know i wouldn't have. Ha.! After reading the Bill S review. I was the irate customer. I did say that I would write a review here, funny he got to it before me. I would like to say that he was correct that the manger was kind to an irate customer. However the associate clearly stated that I was attempting to bring back used items that clearly were not. It is offensive when someone insinuates that I am cheating them when I did nothing of the sort. I too have been to this store numerous times and the service is always abysmal. This never happens at the other home improvement stores in the area. read more
