I stopped in today Been driving by for years I like a good ham sandwich so I went with ham and Swiss on a croissant Had a little Mayo on it w a touch of ham glaze They sell in the freezer a roast and ribs staff told me both are tasty and easy to warm at home. I would order this again I plan to visit them again with friends

Ok I have driven past this place for years and the lack of pictures never really inspired me to stop by and to this day the same two pictures for ever is all they have so I'm going to have to do my Yelp duty and check them out and post some pictures. The place is across from World of beer in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The store is in a coroner spot in the strip mall with lots of windows in the L shape so lots of natural light. The place is nice/bright and clean looking with light wood tables and chairs. There is coolers with take home items like BBQ ribs, sides, cakes, pies cheesecake etc etc. Dry soups and sandwich spreads like horseradish and BBQ separate the the dining room from form the order counter. There is not a huge selection of cold sandwiches but enough to satisfy most people and my choice would be the tavern club which is ham, smoked turkey breast, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, savory mayo, honey mustard on a multi grain bread. Ok you had me up until multi grain bread but what the hell lets go for it. Right off the bat I was liking how cold all the ingredients except for the bread on a warm day was refreshing, the lettuce etc was cold and crisp and I mean no room temperature sandwich here which immediately stood out. The second was the tasty crispy bacon which added a nice texture to complement the softer lettuce, tomato and bread etc. Wow I was surprised at how much more I really liked this sandwich than I expected to. The cold crisp crunchy pickle that came with it was very complementary to the cold sandwich. At 3 pm they were out of soup but maybe next time because if the soups are like the sandwiches they should be pretty good. Ok after the lack of pictures failed to get me in I'm going to post pictures so if other people have the same issue just stop over because I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of my sandwich. Shame on me for waiting so long to get over and have lunch.

Their sandwiches are overpriced and not very good. The ham is ok but I can't see this place lasting very long.

First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event…read more I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal!

The selections available are wide and varied, more meat, poultry, and seafood choices then I have ever seen anyplace, and the prices were very good and competitive. I tried the paella, very tasty, and the gnocchi, my favorite! The duck slider was out of this world. If everything tastes as good as the samples I tried, then I couldn't recommend a stop at Wild Fork more! It's a destination worth seeking out and you won't be disappointed. I bought several items(the gnocchi of course) and can't wait to try them out at home.Kudos to Jessica and Marissa, another winner!

My recent trip to Rupena's was a bit of a mixed bag…read more We stopped by in search of their chicken salad, some potato salad for a picnic on our boat with friends, and then we were hoping to shop around to pick up a few things for the week. I was surprised to enter and find their shelves all nearly empty. They had signs and it seems as though their business is struggling and they're currently prioritizing the meat counter and deli. Fortunately, we were primarily there for their deli. That said, something to note, this isn't a store I'd stop in thinking I might be able to get a few shelf staples. Their shelves were bare. I went to the deli and clearly the word is out on their chicken salad. They have a sign that explains they are limiting customers to two pounds of chicken salad due to high demand. We got a pound of that, a pound of their mustard potato salad, and a pound of their deilved egg potato salad. The chicken salad was really good. One thing I loved about it was the texture. It was finely shredded which I prefer. It was well seasoned and wasn't overly mayo-y. Of the two potato salads, I thought prefer the deviled egg potato salad. It was good but a bit plain for me. The mustard potato salad, on the other hand, was great with just the right amount of mustard and seasoning. The service was lovely and the prices were reasonable. Get to it.
