Had a simple situation made worse by the rude owner. I found a piece of wax paper in my meat lovers skillet. This can happen, hair can happen, just say our bad and we can move on! They tried to tell me it was a piece of onion husk. So i took pictures to allow yall to judge. I cook enough at home ive never seen cooked dried onion skin rip like that. They took the meal off but when i went to pay the owner doubled down and threw in my face that they took off the meal so i paid the price of the meal to the waitress as a tip. Their "Mexican" food is not authentic they sent enchiladas with what looks like jarred salsa on top, the rice tastes packaged (instant) the beans were good, but they put cheddar on everything. Once i find something in my food like that and the people responsible become instantly defensive the way these folks did, i immediately think they are guilty and aware of their negligence so i didn't eat the rest of my food. read more

Cozy little diner with good service, American breakfast and Mexican American meals are their best. Mostly a neighborhood place, but it's worth a little trip if you need to throw off your cholesterol ratio. Fresh, hot, high caffeine coffee, the kind of waitresses you must over tip, no nonsense. Nice small diner with great food and service. Stopped in on a wet and cold Monday and the day definitely got better. Portions are good sized and very tasty. We will be back again. read more

I thought I would try this place for breakfast on my quest to try as many breakfast places around. The place was empty at 8am and I had the whole place to my self, this might be a bad sign. This place is really small with a small number of booths and tables. I did like that they tried to give the place a modern look with red walls and black and red booths. There was a balance of light wood on the floors and walls to contrast the bold red walls with mix match art on the walls. The menu is not super large but it has enough to please most people. The meat lovers skillet caught my eye and that's what I would have with Texas toast. The meat lovers skillet was a good size with three eggs topping it off. This is a greasy spoon for sure because there was a pool of lube on the bottom of the plate as I started to get deeper into it. The skillet was hot with the melty cheddar cheese making for a good show. The skillet had bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar cheese over tender hash browns. The smokey ham was the prevailing flavor in the skillet for sure. The option of Texas toast was awesome because it's my fav and it was perfect. Overall the breakfast was tasty but the pool of lube under the food was not needed and they could use less in cooking the skillet. The service was good so I can't complain about that. The whole breakfast was very reasonable at $7.76 for a plate full of food. read more

I wanted to love this place. They are very Covid safe, which is great. Small place, nice server. I ordered eggs over medium, it was probably on the griddle for a minute, very runny. Curiosity led me to bring the family here for breakfast. A very small but attractive green building that is tucked on the busy Packard Avenue. Warmly greeted and large diverse menu, along with specials on the table and dry erase board. The waitress immediately came to ask about drinks and was prompt with delivery. Now ordering was very challenging to decide but I went with the burrito with rice and beans. My family had french toast and the enchilada omelet with pancakes. Hot, fresh, and plentiful refills on the coffee. Excellent presentations to all meals with ample servings and tastefully prepared. I could see the pride taken in the preparation and quality of the plates. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to those seeking a quality meal at a reasonable price. read more

This a family owned restaurant that is located in a very convenient área, but easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The first time that I heard about this restaurant was from my mom and she loved thier Turkey Club sandwiches. It comes with the Turkey Club, fríes, soup/salad, and a dessert for a very reasonable price. So she brought some home a couple of nights and believe it or not, the portions of food were very generous and my mom and I split the meal between the two of us. So I finally decided to actually go sit down in the restaurant and order our usual, the Turkey Club Sandwich Meal. I was very pleased at how courteous and polite our waitress was. She even remembered that my mom had visited a few times and remembered her order exactly how she orders it. Our food was delicious and fresh. I haven't tried any other menú ítems, but I am definitely a patron now. They just started serving brunch on the weekends so when my family comes to visit later this month, we are going to get it a try. I am so excited to introduce my family to a family owned restaurant that I enjoy! Small restaurant. Our timing was good and it wasn't crowded, we were seated immediately. The service is really good, quick and attentive.we got a skillet and an omelette, the portion sizes were huge and both were delicious. 1st time here.. not happy one bit... walked in and the place looked like someone just had a wrestling match in there. Tables were crooked with table tops unlevel had a strong smell of old wet rags... my daughters and I were hungry so we decided we'd stay and try the place anyhow... sat down looked over what looked to be homemade menus... asked for water to start had black and white speckles floating in 3 waters... ended up ordering soda. Daughters got breakfast and I got a burger. French toast was bland with no taste and tasted like it could be cooked a bit longer.. American fries were like big pieces of half cooked potatoes. My fries were very oil tasting. Portions were great the constant swatting of fruit flies was another big disappointment for this place. We definitely will not be returning. Inconsistent food offerings either food is ok or not ordered breakfast omelet with cheese. cheese was not melted all the way presented lukewarm hash browns were very oily .ask to replace order waitress/owner hesitated and said that you still have to pay I said no problem give me the check and I will not be back she then insisted on making my order right I accepted but received the same with very oily home fries. She again asked how was everything I told her it was terrible she said if you don't like don't come back. A little hidden gem in cudahy for a great breakfast. Its small about 6 booths but it's cool never had to wait. Had a the filis omelet and it was delicious. Hefty portions I was really pleased. Service was super friendly and the food came out fast and hot. Definitely will be hitting this place up again for a good breakfast. read more

I really liked this place, the food came out fast and it was fine. Ate out back on their little patio. The service was good, but when I saw the bill I noticed it was too much for what we ordered. The menu is pretty cheap and that's why we came, as it's a cheaper alternative than what we've been eating. I noticed that my meal was only $10, my partner's was $9 and somehow the bill was $26 and change. When I asked for a receipt, I was given a ticket that isn't legible and the waitress just walked away. Not in the mood to argue, I just paid and left. My wife is pissed now that I didn't say anything and that I didn't take a photo of the receipt, but I'm not a confrontational guy. Makes me wonder how many others they've done this to and people haven't noticed. I'm a firm believer that karma is real and will take effect. There's other spots nearby in Cudahy that I can go to when I'm in town and hopefully others will too. read more

Very very good. We had the basic breakfast of eggs bacon hashbrowns and toast. Everything came out hot, cooked correctly and tasted good. Bathroom was clean(bonus) prices were very good also. Give this place a try! read more

Daughter, friend and myself went there Friday at 4:30 for the first time! I had perch, daughter cod and friend a beef dish? All were excellent with generous portions. Rolls were hot and delicious,cole slaw creamy, fish not overdone, just right. Wine coffee water with lemon and a dessert all under $12. To top it all off, to our amazement the entire bill was paid for by a lady at a table across from us who had already left so we have no idea why or who she was or able to THANK HER! SO, THANK YOU!
