    Wine flight

Hoppy Vine is a wonderful chill bar with something for everyone! I love the option of enjoying a flight. You can do wine and beer flights. I am usually more of a wine rather than beer person, but actually enjoyed the beer tastings more. Perhaps it was our selection, but many of the wines seemed a bit diluted in flavore. Next time I will stick with a beer flight. They do have a small selection of snacks, but you can also bring in food. There are good food options in the plaza such as Charred Pie and Tuk Tuk. They are also a location for wine and paint events. This is the perfect location for this activity. We will definitely be back!

My dad always says when given a choice, take both! So as a woman who likes both local draft IPAs and good red wines, I was very happy with The Hoppy Vine! A group of 5 of us went Sunday afternoon. The format is go up to the bar to order. Krista was helping us and she was lovely. It's always nice when they let you try before you buy. I enjoyed the Mother Road Tower Station IPA, Stone Tangerine IPA and a nice full bodied barbera. The others in the group had various IPAs, lagers, and the Insider Cab Sav (a big hit). The wine is on tap so you'll never get 'the leftover wine from the night before', which is always a worry for wine-drinkers in beer places. The wine was served in a lovely large red wine glass, which I'm a sucker for. This would be a lovely place to grab a drink before or after a movie or shopping in the marketplace. Typical brewery tasting room look to it. Beautiful mountain views (over the parking lot) from the outdoor seating and the first couple tables in the place. It looks like they have a happy hour during the week 3-6pm. They have TVs so we caught part of the Cardinals football game which was nice. They just opened the day after Thanksgiving and they have a few things to work out but since I love supporting small business and would love them to succeed this is a solid 4 star place! A few opportunities for growth ;) - both owners were there but didn't come around to check in with the tables, even though we were there for several hours - the pretzels had zero salt on them.. but the mustard was delicious!

Great beer selection and excellent service. Nice selection of cans, too, for drinking there or takeaway.

Cool place. Tons of beer choices. A bit pricey though. They had a binco game going on when we were there.

Cafe…read moreTorino is one of their favorites and it is not to loud so we can catch up on time that flies by. Reservations were made as this place is a local watering hole in the area. The place was packed and we ordered the Ceasar's salad to split and the mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce. The salad was fine and enough for us to easily share. The mussels were good, tasty broth, and grilled bread to soak up the sauce. We also ordered a tagliatelle bolognese that was fine, decent taste, hot and a generous helping. Our server was on the spot with making sure we were happy, drinks filled and yet did not interrupt our conversation. To the Cafe Torino staff, we never felt pressure to dine and dash, thank you. The food was fine but not remarkable. Obviously, the crowds love this place. You should make a visit to Cafe Torino and make your own decision.

I usually get the chicken piccata because it's such an excellent preparation, with delicious sauce and perfectly tender chicken and really an excellent piccata preparation, but this time I went with the chicken Taleggio and don't regret it a bit. This one has mushrooms and cheese, but not like a marsala. It's its own dish and an excellent one. Got plenty of pasta as well so the portion size on carryout is nothing to sneeze at - I really like that. My wife got the rigatoni alla panna, rich and delicious, but not too heavy. Another winner. When you die in the restaurant, you also get excellent bread and outstanding service. My carryout service experience was very good as our dining service experiences. Daniela is warm and welcoming, and I don't know the bartender's name, but she was really excellent handling my carryout order. Even the salad is delicious. I can't get over the dressing. We will continue to patronize Caffe Torino .

The GPS took us on a funky road and then down a dirt road that I was pretty sure it would flood during a flash flood. The wine tasting room is a bit small and but has a personal charm of southwestern themes. The outdoor patio areas are great to view the local landscape and take in the warm weather and watch the occasional thunderstorm. Also check out their wine flavored slushies when available.

Upon our arrival, there were only a handful of cars present... But then again it makes since when it's 110 degrees outside and going wine tasting. After taking a brief tour of the property, we went inside and were greet by the nicest and most compassionate woman you could ever meet... Next to my wife of course. She was friendly, gave us the history of the winery and shared with us what brought her to work at Old Pueblo. We were there a little over an hour sharing stories; how we met our partners, what's fascinating about wines and what makes Old Pueblo unique. The wines were delicious; 100% organic and prepared in a way where you enjoy every sit and get every bit of the flavor as intended. This is definitely saved on our list of wineries outside of California that we will be going back to. Just got to plan the next road trip.
