Beautiful view while eating breakfast. So yummy and prices aren't bad for hotel prices. Big portions, amazing service. Love the Omni!

Food, service and ambiance were great. Pleasant experience all around while staying at the Omni Hotel. Very generous portions for all entrees.

Desert Farmer is a hidden brunch gem! It's tucked away at The Omni Tucson National. You enter through the main lobby and can take the elevator or stairs downstairs. You then exit the building and the entrance is on the right. I've dined here twice and both experiences were lovely. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meals. I had the hotcakes, which I was surprised were $20 but came with a portion of five huge pancakes. It came with muddled blueberries, whipped butter and syrup. The prices are steep but that comes with the territory of being at a resort. This spot is definitely worth checking out and really nice that it's not super crowded. The AC was a bit chilly so make sure to bring a sweater!

The location is great - a strip mall with plenty of parking and surrounded by restaurants, and you are invited to carry-in food. The decor is nothing special, if you look up you see all the plumbing and ductwork. We arrived at 5:45 and got the last table in the house. Best to come early or late, as it seemed to clear out a bit at 7:15PM when we left. Our table was way in the back, but we were glad to be back there as the music wasn't quite so loud. Speaking of music the band was truly exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of the live entertainment. We were looking for something to nosh on - there was a food truck out back serving burgers, but we went for the large charcuterie tray which was perfect for the 4 of us (see photo). The beer and wine menu is not huge - there is basically one "on tap" for every kind of style, and there are big fridges if you want to buy a bottle or can. We all found something to enjoy. We have added this place to our list to take visitors, it makes for a very enjoyable evening and I highly recommend it.

Wish they had a small kitchen, but neighboring restaurants are great and they'll let you bring in food. Can be pretty tight area to move around in, find a table, or order a drink. Also, a bit on the pricey side and I've had the staff more than once charge me the wrong price. I understand why, but I wish they didn't have so many trivia nights and/or music. Normally would be fine, but in a small environment on an evening where you just want to enjoy a beverage and chill with your friends then you may want to reconsider as it's likely you won't find a table or hear your friends across the table. I recommend The Hoppy Vine, but recommend going before 6 pm or the night(s) when they don't have events.

I rolled up at 530 in a Thursday evening and was greeted by a great entertainer on the patio strumming live music. Food is great - thick, golden corn tortilla chips and deep, smoky salsa, tacos dorados and a fantastic spicy margarita made with fresh lime juice! The tacos were juicy and plated beautifully with lettuce, onions, avocado and crema. The beans and rice, which are usually an after thought were well seasoned and delicious! The service was friendly and fast - Eva was so sweet and accommodating! I will be back AND bring friends!

Thoughts on the dishes we tried: - Guacamole and chips: pretty good but not standout - the next time we came back, we just stuck to the chips and salsa which were tasty and filling - Ribeye: great for sharing for 2 people; the char on the meat is delicious and the dish comes with a cheese quesadilla, grilled onions, rice, and refried beans. We ended up with leftovers to take home. - Enchiladas: choose your meat and sauce to top it. I opted for the shredded chicken with green (poblano) sauce. The sauce packs a hint of spice but is a bit creamy too, and the enchiladas are packed with meat and are filling. - Quesadilla: similar to enchiladas, choose your meat or cheese only. My husband ordered the carne asada which was marinated well and flavorful. The quesadilla had good meat to cheese ratio and comes with sour cream and guacamole. Both times we left with happy and full bellies as well as leftovers. Good meals overall!
