This spot has a great indoor/outdoor setup with something for everyone in the family. There's music, games, pool tables, outdoor seating, drinks, and a solid variety of food and dessert options. Our kids had a blast playing with other kids, though we had a few close calls with footballs flying near the eating area, something to keep in mind if you're sitting outside in that area. The kids enjoyed their burgers, but the food we tried from Macho Taco was a bit of a letdown. The taco salad shell was chewy and the toppings were minimal it was 95% lettuce, the ground beef tacos were bland and lacking in quality. The birria tacos were the highlight, our teenage daughter liked those. Ordering food was easy, but several drink machines were out of ice, and the staff didn't seem too eager to fix the issue. Overall, it's a fun place to hang out, but the food experience was hit or miss. This was our first experience at the Hub. It's not at the top of our list, but we may give it another try.

We always enjoy visiting during the weekends with the live music on the main stage. Plenty of food options with a number of providers outside or on the main and 2nd levels of the larger building. Burgers, pizza, tacos, ETC's. Plenty of parking and always try and grab a space in the parking garage. It's also pet friendly. Check their website for the list of entertainers and the dates they are appearing. Make sure you stop by and give they a try. Enjoy.

I love how they always have movies and characters for my son to enjoy. They have a lot of nights that are buy one get one or kids eat free to make the prices more affordable. The food has always been good whatever I've ordered. Most of it is just order at the counter and you pick it up so not really a rating for service. The atmosphere and vibes have always been fun.

I think the place itself is niceeee . It's so much to do and to eat here . Kids can play while you relax , grab a cocktail and chill. Service was good . I will say the food personally was okay . The baked potatoes to me needed more meat . Ambiance is fun , chill, sporty and laidback

Came here for a free concert. There is a bat and grill off to the side for easy access. It was a Journey Cover Band. Not bad at all.

We came here for my friend's wedding kickoff happy hour. They had a section roped off upstairs and a live band playing until 9pm. The set up is very interesting, almost like a food hall. It is indoor and outdoor with plenty of seating. Outside is where all the restaurants are and they surround the lawn in a U-shape. There is a huge screen out there where they were playing NCAA games. Unfortunately, by the time we made it in from our drive from Houston the staff had already picked up all the buffet items so we didn't get to try any of the food. However we did try several of their premade cocktails. The cucumber Fresca was a little tart and definitely citrusy. It's good for a hot summer day cocktail. The Patio Pounder was their version of a rum punch and super sweet! The Watermelon crawl was not as sweet and had a tinge of spiciness from the Tabasco. That one was my favorite.

First time visiting the hub, VERY cool atmosphere. But the restaurant inside the food hall called Republic wasn't great. It's upstairs, had live music which is why we came to check it out. However, the bartender was rude. We asked for a drink menu, she firmly said no. Then I asked for an espresso martini which is advertised on the Hub's instagram, her response was no we don't have those. This is a food hall, but also advertising as a restaurant. Which is confusing, considering this restaurant serves drinks in plastic cups. The food we got was called the hub club! Not good! It was about $16 bucks which in my opinion is rip off. I could of better a better sandwich at home. The chips that came with it was not crunchy, rather soft. Not fresh at all. Disappointing.

Very lively place. Seatings are plentiful and food options are limited but ok for quick bites and booze.

    What vegan options are there?

There do not appear to be a lot of vegan options as yet. We stopped by last night. It is geared toward more typical food court offerings, not offering plant based courses yet. Maybe soon!

    Are dogs allowed?

I believe so. We saw some dogs and saw a water bowl in the dining area. It can be rowdy there so your dog must be able to handle the commotion.

We've tried a wide variety of items on the menu over the years, and everything has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Whether we're stopping in for a quick bite or staying to watch a game, the food never disappoints. The beer selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety of draft and bottled options ranging from crisp lagers and wheat beers to IPAs, porters, and stouts. Fun tip - if you order a German beer, it's served in a traditional 0.5-liter glass, which adds to the experience. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a neighborhood sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, plenty of seating, and a lively but comfortable vibe that's perfect for catching a game with friends or family. They also host a variety of events throughout the year, making every visit a little different. One of my favorite nights is Pint Night, where you receive a complimentary pint glass featuring the selected beer with your purchase. It's a great promotion and just another reason we keep coming back. If you're looking for great food, an incredible beer selection, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is hard to beat. It's our go-to spot in Allen, and I highly recommend it.

We decided to try Brass Tap again tonight for dinner. We have been here once before about 3 years…read moreago and it was ok, nothing too memorable - nothing horrible. Food was ok. So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.

The Common Table (DFW Area)…read more How Did We Get Here? Somewhere between "just grabbing a bite" and curating a whole vibe... you realize not every table is common. And this one? Understood the assignment. I landed at The Common Table looking for something easy--but what I got was an experience that felt intentional, social, and just elevated enough to make you stay longer than planned. Let's get into it. The Atmosphere: Indoor-outdoor energy with a patio that breathes. Dim lighting, soft conversation, a little buzz--but never overwhelming. It's giving: date night, business casual meet-up, or "let's decompress after a long day" energy. The Menu: Extensive--but not chaotic. From elevated comfort food to curated cocktails, it's clear this place is designed for options and experience. This isn't fast dining--it's stay a while dining. The Crowd: A mix of professionals, creatives, and people who understand that where you go matters just as much as what you order. Translation? You're in the right room. The Experience: Easy flow. Good pacing. The kind of place where conversation lingers and no one is rushing you out the door. And honestly... that's rare. Final Thought: If you're anywhere near DFW and looking for a space that balances elevated without trying too hard--this is your move. Because sometimes the best places aren't the loudest... they're the ones that feel right the moment you walk in. And somehow, some way... we ended up exactly where we were supposed to be. -- How Did We Get Here?

Both were flavorful, and the sauces had a nice kick. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, which tasted good, but the pasta was overcooked. The same issue came up with my daughter's mac and cheese. With how saucy both dishes were, an al dente noodle would have been better, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was good, and everyone else enjoyed their meals. The real highlight was the music bingo happening during our visit. We played, won a round, and walked away with a $25 gift card, so we'll definitely be back to try other items.
