We had a party of 10 show up late morning on a Sunday and everyone was really helpful in getting us situated. I love the set up of the restaurant with the textured walls, great flow, and unique decorations. There were also a lot of fun nooks and crannies for 1-2 seaters that would make a meal solo or with a friend that much more intimate. The food was good, nothing too special. The chicken wrap I got had very little chicken, but still tasted great because it was made well. The fries on the side of the burgers and wraps were stand out. The brunch items (corned beef hash and eggs, veggie scramble) were similar in rating - fine, but nothing spectacular. A majority of us tried out their drinks - the OJ and ginger mango tea fizz were good. The service was attentive and well paced.

Not good enough to brag about anything in particular, but good enough to come back. Some dishes seem better than others. The chai was way too sweet, so I just stick with coffee now.

This is such a cute and cozy restaurant! I went here for the first time with my friend. The food was yummy! I got the scramble and it was so good!!!! The drink we got were also delicious! Our server was kind and attentive! He was very patient and great! Definitely will be coming back!

I let a friend here for lunch the other day and I haven't been in years so I was looking forward to it. The staff is always nice and that is still true. I love the old time family cafe feel and the look of the desserts in the glass case when you walk in. Upon the server's recommendation and against my better judgment, I ordered the Mac and cheese with grilled chicken added. He was right! The Mac and. Geese is delicious and I was good and only ate about a quarter of it and took the rest home. The chicken was a little dry and didn't have a lot of flavor but the Mac and cheese made up for it. Once we got our food it was a long time before anyone checked back in. I look forward to trying the Cuban Sandwich in the future or maybe just getting a coffee and a dessert from the glass case.

A vile 4% fee added for the sake of soaking the customers.

A despicable place. They charge a 4% "fee" on top of your order, for no other reason than to soak you for an extra 4%. Stay far, far away.

Tried this place out with my friend! It was wonderful. The food was great! I had Huevos Rancheros. The mystic green tea was delicious. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back soon?

This is a cute place in my favorite part of Louisville. 4-stars for the cozy atmosphere. You can stop in for coffee and pastries or sit down for breakfast and lunch. It's usually packed on the weekends with a slight wait time. The menu boasts healthy and fresh choices. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which is not my favorite, but the portion is huge. The breading is a little bit too thick for me and I prefer the more white country style gravy. Seester had the spinach herb scramblette, which was also a good portion. The food was fine, the service was okay. A bit slow but they were pretty busy. I enjoyed the environment and the company.

This place is an amazing, cozy, and cute breakfast spot. If you're in town I highly recommend you stop by. They have quality food, pastries, and drinks. We're from Vegas but visit family in Colorado often. We always make a point to stop here at least once during our visits. Their chai tea is amazing, their hot chocolate is tasty, and their pies are amazing. Our favorite is the huckleberry and peach. We love their breakfast menu so have only tried that, but I'm sure their lunch menu is just as tasty Their service is also incredibly kind. They're so nice here

Food was great! It's a super cute spot. The service was a little slow but other than that I highly recommend!

Cute farmhouse breakfast spot. This place is popular and the food has many vegetarian options. Cozy and quaint, it's a great spot for weekend brunch. I ordered the vegetarian Benedict which was flavorful and made with collard greens. The lemon lavender cooler was refreshing and lightly sweetened. Ample amount of fresh pies to choose from. There is a 4% fee added to the bill to support the staff to be aware! The staff was lovely and we loved the sunny vibes.

    Cute!

The food here, and the choices, are excellent. We shared an order of the Breakfast Tacos which were delicious as well as one of the best crepes I've ever tasted. It was the berry crepe which also came with eggs - we had them hold the eggs - but the marscapone filling was light and creamy and the berries were delicious. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. They have an extensive selection of teas. I tried the Tangerine and it was so good. There's a small gift shop in the waiting area. It's decorated nicely; we had a seat by the window which worked out perfectly. My friend commented several times that we had 'made the right choice' and I have to agree.

I met a friend at The Huckleberry this morning. We were able to sit in the shade on the west side of The Huckleberry sidewalk. It was a great location. My friend and I ordered vegetarian food which was delicious. We enjoyed our meal and look forward to meeting there again soon

The service is a little stiff and slow but what can you expect from a pub style restaurant. It can get pretty busy inside especially around holidays so definitely make a reservation if you plan on having a big party or don't want to sit at the bar. As far as English/Irish food goes this the only serious contender in the area, i haven't found another UK restaurant that quite mimics the pub atmosphere as well as this one. I completely don't remember what everyone ordered but I DO remember all the things I tried at the table. Tater Tots - parmesan & chives / house onion sour cream - nothing outstanding about this but the kids/teens/young adults LOVED it and may have inhaled it in one breath. Roasted Cauliflower - saffron cream / chermoula / sumac / miso aioli / crispy onion - the saffron cream was a nice touch of essence and the crispy onion brought a good sweetness and texture to the dish. Honey Bourbon Wings - fried chicken wings / honey bourbon glaze / dill pickles - this was FABULOUS, good fry, not burnt and the glaze was perfect, not ooey gooey sticky, just sticky to the touch. Wild Boar Bucatini - wild boar ragu / cured egg yolk / parmesan / chives - this was my dinner order. I'm always excited when there's bucatini on the menu. It just holds enough sauce in the hollows to satisfy me. The ragu was cooked well, good sauce maybe it needed just a little pinch more of salt for my liking. Parking in the neighborhood is not difficult. We had an airbnb down the street and walked here in less than 5 minutes. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a covered patio-ish area. Waiting wasn't a chore because there are quirky shops in the corridor outside the entrance, including a used bookshop. Our waitress was lively and very quick to get our order in and out on the table. I had an English muffin, tomatoes, avocado, spinach, two eggs, swiss, with a side of potatoes. On the menu it's called Louisville Muffin. I really liked it with the stack of veggies under the eggs. Bookguy had Carol's Potatoes: chorizo gravy-covered potatoes topped with two eggs, and a side of toast. He especially liked the chorizo gravy. A third member of our group ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Everything came out just the way she liked it. It's a bit noisy when it's packed with diners as it was this day, but the food is great so no doubt we will be back when in Louisville.

We had the pancake combination breakfasts, one special and one slam. They were both very good and the pancakes are big and fluffy! I must also note that they actually know how to cook bacon here! You're not just served a limp piece of fat; it's actually cooked and close to crispy! The down side... We waited almost an hour for a table since we requested a table only, not the bar. The unfortunate thing about this place is that it is very small. There's a total of about 7 or 8 tables and it is very popular so it gets crowded with wait lines quick. The big complaint I have about this place is that even though it's a small place, and has 2-3 waitresses that we noticed serving tables, the service is slow and inattentive. The staff are all very nice, but we had to catch someone and ask any time we needed a coffee or water refill, and the check; things you should never have to ask for. I've seen staff at bigger restaurants handle way more tables more efficiently.

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.
