I have been going to the Henderson location on Lake Mead for about 4 years and love the lavender latte with macadamia nut milk and bagel dog along with the chocolate covered expresso beans. I used to go to the location in North Las Vegas when I worked in the area and always loved the staff and coffee. It was my go-to coffee place over any other. I downloaded the app per the recommendation of one of the staff at the Henderson location so that I could earn rewards. Everything went well for a while, and then the app stopped working. I mentioned this to one of the staff, and they advised that customers were having issues with the app and recommended starting a new account, which I did. It was denied immediately, and that is where the fun began. I sent an email through the contact area of the app and got a very abrupt message back indicating that there was fraud action on the account and that any attempt to open a new account would be blocked. In other words, I was not allowed to use the app ever! When I sent additional messages asking about this as I was never notified of any fraud, I received the same answer. I then went through the website and sent a message and received the same vague unexplained answer, which made me feel like a criminal. I sent a final message that I would no longer frequent any Human Bean location and received no reply. A real shame that a simple app issue with no resolution would cause the loss of a customer who picked up coffee and food 2-3 times a week. Shame on you! read more

I couldn't believe how bad this was. I asked for a small 8oz latte with two shots and whole milk at the drive through window. I couldn't be understood, no problem, so ordered at the window. We don't do 8oz. Ok, just use your 12oz cup and half fill it. Server was polite. As I sat at the window watching the barista, she tipped 2 shots (which were not freshly pulled and I have no idea how old) into my milk and then streamed it all together before filling a 12oz cup. Voila ! I late. Forget re-making it. I won't be back. Awful service. They don't care about delivering a quality coffee, and can't make a simple espresso drink properly, The Human Bean doesn't care to listen to a customer simple request. Never again. read more

Finally went to The Human Bean !! We were driving to my sons football game I was talking about going for coffee an boom right there it was !! I got a ice latte with sugar free vanilla with almond milk , it has light ice next time I'll ask for a little more only because they make it fresh and it's hot an then ice melted fast due to it's a hot one in Vegas today .. love the flavor of there coffee , the coffee has a nice smooth taste to it. Drive thru experience was great! Friendly morning service asked about our day, our trip, and gave travel tips for fam with kids. Appreciated the service and the drinks were amazing and tasted great! The vanilla granita packed a caffeine punch but in a sweet way, it was delicious ! The matcha tasted sweet, creamy and matcha taste was not overpowering. Finally, the snowy mocha was great for a warm morning when you don't want a hot coffee because of the weather. Not too strong and not too sweet. Right in the middle, so if you prefer one over the other make sure to let the person taking your order know. Java chip on top of the drink was a great little touch. Not a single place in Los Angeles that does that, so that was a unique and cool touch. If back in town, we will definitely be back! read more

How adorable is this place?! We got a coffee, raspberry granola bar, and a little bean strawberry smoothie for a little over $10. The coffee came with a chocolate covered coffee bean which was delicious. I asked for more and she gave them to me! Which was super nice. Everything was really good. The raspberry bar was surprisingly high in calories, but it was really dense and delicious so I didn't mind. The kids loved their smoothie and it is given in a reusable cup which is awesome! I went to The Human Bean in December 2020 and for some reason I never reviewed it! This is a cute little coffee shop on the older side of Henderson, not too far from downtown. They only have a walk-up window and a drive thru so you can't go inside. Despite being a little chilly, I still got an iced coffee. My coffee came with a bonus - an espresso flavored bean, which was the perfect fit for my drink. Neat little place, would definitely go back again. read more

My husband and I were super excited to try this coffee spot and it was pretty good! We had the Mexi Mocha and caramel latte. We also had the chocolate granola bar and the raspberry granola bar. They serve their coffees with a little choco-covered coffee bean which is really cute. The Mexi Mocha was sweet and cinnamon-y. The service was great, the girl was super friendly and made recommendations since it was our first time there. It's a bit pricey but that seems to be the trend with coffee places nowadays anyway. It's very nice to have this Human Bean with a drive-thru window conveniently located off of Lake Mead near Boulder Highway. It's even better for me since it's in the same parking lot as my bank;  I can grab some cash out of the ATM and then go spend it on coffee! Okay, maybe not so good for my wallet. I've been here twice so far to do just that. There hasn't been a line when I go, so I have been able to get my drink and go in a jiffy.  I love the fact that they still give you a free espresso bean with your order, too.  Oh, what's even better is that the Human Bean, with their first coffee stand opened in 1998 in Ashland, OR, has a mission of stewardship.  The company supports coffee origin communities around the world (Malawi, Rwanda, Honduras,Sumatra, and Guatemala, to name a few) so it's nice to know that a purchase at a Human Bean actually helps other human beings around this big world in a small way. read more

I love trying new coffee places and this specific spot was recommended to me by a friend. Friend also recommended this drink to me (the snowy mocha), which is one of the best coffees I've ever had. The ingredients in general taste wonderful (the beans are never burnt, quality milk, etc) and there was even a lil chocolate-covered espresso bean on top! I also tried their blended energy drink (forgot what the exact flavor was), which was pretty good too! I think I'm gonna keep getting the coffee though because it's SO hard to find a quality coffee shop with affordable prices & no compromises on flavor. Also the employees are super chill and so sweet every time I go. I can tell they really care about their job, it definitely shows! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!! I grew up in small towns in Oregon so to see this on lake mead parkway in Henderson was an instant celebration in my heart. I used to only be able to get The Human Bean once a year in July when I would travel back home & now I can have it whenever I want! Their snickers granita is soooo delicious! Truth is, that's the only thing I order ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ why mess with a good thing right? My kiddos always order vanilla granita with lots caramel. You can get them both with or without coffee, mine are with, kiddos; without. Their sizes are very generous & most drinks are customizable for vegan & sugar free. They also serve a delicious chocolate covered espresso bean with each order. (You can buy a bag if you're obsessed like me) I hope they open more locations! It's a bit of a drive for me but so worth it for that nostalgic feeling. read more

New customer, I don't know the menu that well but so far the Snowy Mocha with cold foam and oat milk is perfect! It's not too sweet and still wakes me up without the headache. The bagels are big but definitely order 2 sides of cream cheese if you like a lot of spread. The staff is cool, they're there to work hard and have a good time which is nice to see. Our 3 year old LOVED his strawberry banana smoothie, not to mention it comes in a reusable cup! I had the iced Mexi Mocha and my husband had the Irish Cream Breve (COLLAR INCLUDED, for the grumpy people giving bad reviews for NOT getting one ). I love the Human Bean up in N Vegas so I was excited when one was opening up in Henderson. The first week of opening, the drinks were really good. Then after a while, the drinks started to tasted watered down. So I drove all the way to N Vegas just to compare the 2 Irish Creme Breves from each location, and the Henderson location lacks flavor and caffeine. It is annoying having to ask for a sleeve for the hot coffee every single time when it should be a given. That's definitely a liability issue if someone gets burnt or drops the coffee after grabbing the cup from not realizing how hot the cup was (I almost did that) If the Henderson location can get on par with the N Vegas Human Bean, then you'd have a winner for best drive thru coffee on this side of town. read more
