Cute little place hidden in Charlestown. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were seating right away on a Saturday at 10 a.m., but I could see there being a wait during summer in beach season. There are a lot of specials on the chalkboard so don't forget to check those out. I had the iced pistachio coffee and the Baja wrap. The seasoning on the shrimp was good. First time here. We were greeted outside by an electric guitar player singing oldies. Couldn't help but put a smile on our faces. Good start. We were then greeted inside a cozy atmosphere of people and ambiance. It's a family affair with the husband and wife cooking and their children involved as well. We both ordered eggs Benedict. One with ham and one with bacon. Both dishes weee deeeeeelicious! My husband said, "You can't beat that!" Everything was cooked perfectly and tasty. Even the potatoes were excellent. It was a super busy place, however, we waited a short time, got in and the service was extremely efficient. No wait times once seated. Drum roll.... Great food at a place that is popular but somehow underrated! I thought they had been closed for a while, and other people I know also thought that. Nope! It was only a short time during covid. I'm glad they have been open but mad that I haven't eaten there more often :) I rate a place by their corned beef hash and theirs is exceptional. Worth the trip just for the hash. As good as the breakfasts are, the lunches might be better! And they have prepared meals to go. We are regulars now. Glad we figured it out. read more

Yep, bring that bubbly and order a tall glass of OJ to go with it and TA-DA! MIMOSAS! I love the hash, like its really damn good. Homemade, fresh and not the typical mush you often get served elsewhere. I love a good english muffin and over-medium eggs. I still need home fries tho, even tho the hash often has potatoes in it. (I'm french canadian and we love our meat and potatoes.) I can't tell you about much else because this is what I get. Everytime. Like, everytime. Always clean, always busy (during peak breakfast days/hours) and sometimes its a bit of the wait, while other times your food hits the table before you know it. That's part of the fun, right? Went for weekend breakfast with girlfriends before we hit Umbrella Factory. Tables are close together, cleaned off as fast as people eat so the next group can get in. Staff was busy, checking on their tables, bringing food, bussing tables. As soon as 1 group finished eating & got up, table was cleaned and next group was brought in. Sat down, coffee was immediately poured while food orders were taken. Pancakes were locely, light & fluffy. Banana bread french toast was crazyyyyyy good!! Never had to ask for coffee, staff was so attentive. Everything was homemade, nothing from cans or frozen. Place was so busy and noisy, staff constantly moving around, lots of activity. Breakfast spot minutes from the Charlestown Breachway. Came in for breakfast before hitting the road back home and was glad I had used Yelp to find this place! The corned beef hash was the real deal - big chunks of corned beef with potatoes, grilled to perfection! The rest of the meal was standard eggs, toast, home fries but if you are like me - add onion to the home fries for that extra time on the grill. Horrible service with subpar food. Arrived at 11am asked for a table for 4. We were quoted 45 min. At 12:05 we were called to our table. We waited another 15 min just to get our drink orders taken. Our food showed up at 1pm. Fries were great but nothing else had flavor. Onion rings were dripping oil. Cheese steak tasted like paper towels. It took 10 min to get a check. Such a waste of time to get sandwiches. We will not return. read more

Wonderful find; this recommendation came from an old friend who lives in the area. Lots of New England Charm and hearty fare enjoyed by mostly local folks who come here quite frequently. The Recommendation was to try the Corned Beef Hash. It was excellent with big chunks of tender Corned Beef and crispy potatoes in an arranged Marriage made in heaven.
