I do not feel safe here during the pandemic. I was just there (Saturday morning) and the lady in front was NOT wearing a mask and was chewing gum!!! I feel bad writing this because I wanted to support a new, small business. I was craving a philly cheesesteak and the pics on here looked amazing. I am someone who is taking this pandemic very seriously. Since March, I have only gotten takeout/delivery 4 times. This was NOT worth the excursion. In hindsight, I should not have even entered the establishment. As a side note, the lady was looking down the whole time (not sure what she was doing) and never acknowledged my presence. She didn't look when my car lock noise sounded, didn't look when I walked in. I was inside there maybe 7-10 seconds which seems like a short time but is actually an eternity considering the minuscule size of this place. That was plenty of time to give eye contact, say hi, say "I'll be with you in a minute", anything.. but no, nothing at all. That plus my health concerns caused me to just leave. As I drove away, I considered taking a pic of this from my car but finally as my car passed by she looked up, and someone else was about to go in so I decided not to because I'm a wimp about taking pics of strangers. If someone especially in the food service industry needs to be told that they should be wearing a mask, then they are likely being reckless outside of work. I do not trust this. I will not even consider trying this place until a vaccine is widely available. UPDATE: In response to the owner's message, I am glad you are taking at least some precautions and it sucks that it's hot. I just could not believe what you were saying so I just read http://www.ph.lacounty.gov/media/Coronavirus/docs/protocols/Reopening_Restaurants.pdf . I am not a lawyer but I will point out these excerpts: 1) "Employees who have contact with others are offered, at no cost, an appropriate face covering that covers the nose and mouth. The covering is to be worn by the employee at all times during the workday when in contact or likely to come into contact with others." - if your business is open and your doors are open and you are sitting in the main dining area--the only spot where customers can go to upon entering the doors--then I would say you are "likely to come into contact with others" 2) " Employees need not wear a face covering when the employee is alone in a private office or a cubicle with a solid partition that exceeds the height of the employee when standing." - This was the main dining/ordering area, not a private office or cubicle 3) "Employees are prohibited from eating or drinking anywhere inside the food facility other than designated break rooms." - Sure chewing gum is not technically eating but I do not think the idea is about what goes on while your body is internally digesting the food. You're sitting there chomping away, releasing stuff in the air as you are chewing your gum I do not see anything that says it's ok to be in the main dining area, doing what ever you want, maskless as long as you put on a mask as soon as someone comes in or when you're handling food. Again, if you need someone to point these things out to you, you really don't get it and I can't trust this place. read more

Tried the 2 egg gondola with mushrooms and loaded fries with Nashville chicken. This placed used to be Giorgios, but now the new owner (Adam) has added more to the menu and kept some of the familiar favorites. I found this restaurant on yelp and had to give it a try! The Hut is going to be my go-to place whenever I crave pizza. The fries were delicious and crispy. We came across this awesome spot through Los Angeles Eats on Instagram. After visiting today it's one of the best finds from their we've had. The Steak and a Cheese Sub tasted as good as it looked. It was delicious. The people working there/owners were so incredibly friendly and polite. They were clearly observing and practicing all the necessary precautions during this time. Go eat here! Delicious steak sandwich and breakfast burrito!!! Service was a little slow, but for piping hot food I'm willing to wait a couple minutes more!! I've been here five times already since I've heard about this place and boy oh boy i gotta tell you this place is goooood! From all 5 visits I've tried the following so far: The Breakfast Burrito, the Nashville Hot Chicken, the Bacon Cheeseburger, the Pastrami Sub, the Large Pizza with Pepperoni/Mushrooms/Onions/Bell Peppers, and the Pizza Fries. The Breakfast Burrito was a good portion loaded with a lot of ingredients including BACONNN!!! So damn good that it made me say YUMMMM YUMMMM!!! All my orders were take out, so when i got home i dabbed on some Sriracha and BAMMM a great breakfast burrito with some kick!! Definitely a great breakfast meal that will keep you full till the afternoon for sure! The Nashville Hot Chicken was cooked to perfection. The Nashville style heat was spot on! Very flavorful in regards to both the chicken itself and the heat from the Nashville seasonings. Now this chicken is finger lickin' good (KFC's chicken not so much). After trying this I now wanna try their Nashville Loaded Fries next! The Bacon Cheeseburger was juicy, the cheese nice n melted, and the bacon was crispy. Nice n flavorful! Some people might hate me for saying this next part: I absolutely hate the taste of the prepackaged beef patties from Costco. It literally disgusts me! Some of the little mom n pop burger joints that I've tried in the past have used these packaged beef patties and I just cant stand that odd taste. Like I said I know a lot of people like the Costco beef patties but for my taste I absolutely hate it. It tastes bland with an odd aftertaste, I dont know what it is I just hate it. Now these guys here I can tell you they do not use these type of patties. I'm assuming they season and prepare their own patties rather than buying wholesale packaged beef patties and just throw them on the grill, because I dont get that odd taste and instead I get a mouthful of awesome tasting seasoned beef! I dig this burger! The Pastrami is AWESOME! I'm a huge pastrami fan, so when I find a new spot that offers a Pastrami sandwich I get it! This one right here does not disappoint. A nice portion of thin sliced pastrami that melts in your mouth! Definitely one of my favorite Pastrami's I've had! I highly recommend this sandwich! The Pizza was delicious, the dough is not too thick nor is it too thin. In my opinion it has the perfect amount of dough and toppings where you can taste all the toppings as well as the dough. The toppings are fresh and baked till the cheese is golden brown. If you are craving a good slice of pizza, try this place for sure! The toppings I got came out great! The side order of Pizza Fries is mouth watering! Sooooo damnnn good!!! Funny thing is that I ate this as a snack while drinking a good quality Tequila at home with my immediate family that I live with (don't worry I'm social distancing lol) What I would suggest to the owner is to maybe add some jalapeños so that it will give it a nice little kick to it. I'll be sure to ask them if they could add some next time I order this. Give this place a shot. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. I dont review much on Yelp, but when I go to a place 5 times and everything I've tried comes out amazing, I'm obligated to mention and share my experiences. Trust me and try it for yourself. The employees there are also very friendly and kind. During a Pandemic its nice to see hard working people keep their sense of humor and their great personality. I'll start off by saying this place is really good. Which is why I have two stars. The thing I don't like is that today I had my food delivered to me and it was missing a burrito. When I called, the lady tells me I only ordered one. I double checked before calling. I definitely ordered two. So she tells me I have to go pick it up. It was their mistake, not mine. Okay, fine. This place is near my job so me and my co workers go about 3 days a week . The cook and the lady are very friendly . The food is really good . Two thumbs up to the cook ! I only have two issues... the inside of this place is an inferno as soon as u walk inside the heat hits you in the face. The cook and the lady look like they are in an oven themselves. Maybe the owner should invest in a big AC or something. My other issue is the lady sometimes doesn't pay attention when you order . I've ordered combos and when I pick up it's just the burger or when I order dine in I get to go boxes. I think ima stay away for the next few months while the heat goes down read more
