$35 XL 20" Pepperoni waste of money. Dry AF! Barely any sauce, cheese dry stuff and hard to chew! Dough dry & stiff too. Sucked

$7.95 over priced slice Tony Jack pizza very dry, cheese crust baked so long it's like cement spackle can't bite thru or cut thru w plastic knife. See photo for sound of cheese crust like a rock hitting table. Cheese on top baked dry hard and stiff. The white moist spot in photo is ranch dressing. No good, over cooked until cheeses dried up. So cheap w toppings, 1/4 inch bacon pieces like oversized bacon bit, no cheese on top, what little cheese was baked completely dry. $35 overpriced lousy pizza. XL 20" pepperoni also overcooked until cheese is hard and dried up. no cheese pull at all, stiff cheese and stiff crust like cardboard pizza without taste. The two ladies at the counter were nice, especially the purple haired gal. Not their fault chef over cooks everything. First time here and wanted to like it, sorry! Very underwhelmed and disappointed. I'm not coming back.

Stopped by Slice House because my friend wanted to grab something quick before our movie. As someone who's never been much of a pizza person, I was honestly blown away by both their New York and Detroit-style pizzas. First off, the slices are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. For the Detroit style, we ordered the Combo Americano because I wanted to feel a little healthier with the bell peppers and mushrooms. The thick, airy crust was crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and loaded with toppings. For the New York style, we went with the Wise Guy, and I'm not gonna lie--it might be the best pizza I've ever had. I don't know if it was the sausage with its subtle sweetness or the finishing drizzle, but every bite had this light sweet-savory balance that was incredibly addictive. The crust was thin with just the right amount of chew, and the flavors came together perfectly. If you think pizza is just pizza, Slice House might change your mind.

Honestly, I prefer their slices compared to Prince Street because their crust texture is crunchier and it's more to my liking. I would say their dollops of cheese are a game changer, it's between a butter and light melted cheese. Wise guy (triangle slice): If you're a fan of New York slices, I would get this slice over here. Nice ratio of tomato, cheese and crust. Tomato sauce tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. Would come back to get another slice. Angeleno pizza (square slice): Crust was a little more well done to burnt edge. This pizza was their recommended slice to get, but I wasn't a really big fan of their crust thickness cause it was a bit dry. I'm not sure if was because the crust was a bit harder. They were generous with their meat toppings on the Angeleno which was great.

I have been meaning to try this place since they opened. Slice house offers pizza, pasta, salad, etc. Located in a great spot in downtown Burbank near the AMC and the Batman statue. Pizza had a hefty price tag of about $8.00 a slice. There are about 8 different choices. We came here for a snack and each had a slice. The pizza was very good. The sauce had a sweet taste to it. The pepperoni was nicely rounded and crisp. However one of the slices was a little greasy. We used a napkin to dab it off. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Self serve fountain drinks and clean bathrooms.

A nice pizza spot in the main area of downtown Burbank, across from the AMC theaters. Food: The pizza was good as you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I got the "traditional" (pan style pepperoni and sausage) and the "pepperoni" (NY style I believe) and both were great as far sauce, meats, cheese and crust. Service: It was simple but it does get very packed in there (on a Saturday night) as it took me almost 30 mins for 2 slices since traditional and pepperoni sell out fast. They give you a buzzer or number to bring the food to you. Ambiance: They have a good amount of tables inside and out, soda fountain and 2 bathrooms. It's simple and partially clean due to all the people leaving their mess behind.

I'd been here once before for a YE event. This time wasn't as amazing. We went on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. We ate outside. There was trash all over. We had to clean our own table. We shared pizza slices of Angeleno, Motorhead, a meatball sub and a Caesar salad. I loved the Motorhead. He loved the Angeleno. The meatball would have been better with more sauce. The salad was big and not as fresh as I like.

During an unexpected business visit I had the opportunity to try the Slice House. I was pretty pleased with this choice for sure. A good pizza for lunch is always a good thing. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and hospitable. He brought my order out to me pretty quickly. The outside patio was a great place to enjoy my lunch as it was nice being in the fresh air and not a lot of people. So it was peaceful for sure.

I actually love pizza so much. It's honestly gluttonous and disgusting the way I'll tear into a slice of pizza. We tried Slice House in Burbank and it was so damn good. Me and Josh shared three slices: the NY Hot Honey, Detroit Motörhead, and Sicilian Wise Guy. All three were really good. I tried the New York Hot Honey first and it was so yummy. It had this nice sweetness from the honey. If I'm being honest, it kind of tasted like sugar water, but in a good way somehow. The bottom was nicely crispy too, which I love. The Sicilian Wise Guy was a little too "bready" for my taste, like a little more done than I usually like, but the toppings were so good that I still enjoyed it. But I will not get over the Detroit Motörhead. That one was everything. It was so perfectly soft and pretty, and the edge pieces with the burnt/crispy cheese were insanely good. I loved the tomato sauce too. I love messy pizza, and that one was just perfect. If I could get a Detroit Motörhead every day, I probably would. Easily one of the best pizza slices I've had. I can't wait to try more kinds of pizza there too. I really like that this place has different styles because ever since going to New York I've been talking nonstop about NY pizza, but this reminded me there are so many good kinds of pizza out there.

REALLY good! I was expecting to not like this place that much based on its location and somewhat corny advertising - but it lived up to the hype! I see why the founder won the world championship. I just got a re-heated slice of cheese but it tasted so good that I'm deff interested in the whole pie now. Single slice cheese pizza had tangy red sauce, slightly sharp cheese, parmesan notes cooked in, and flaky crunchy crust. Kind service but tired employees. It's the Burbank AMC Center area, so environment was very middle America outdoor mall vibes - but interior held up to a cool east coast pizza vibe.

Chardonnay sold by the bottle-- a half bottle for, $16.

Solid pizza and a convenient spot before a movie at AMC Burbank -- just skip the salad and dessert. Tony does not live here. That is, there is no Tony here. This is a chain restaurant created by a pizza chef named Tony Gemignani. According to online sources, he is a 13-time world pizza champion and supposedly one of the most well-known pizza makers in the U.S. Visited last Saturday for early dinner with my niece and nephew. First tip: skip the salad. We ordered the Bacon Arugula Salad, but the greens were wilted and the bacon amounted to only a few small pieces. Drinks Jarritos Pineapple soda - My niece and nephew ordered this. Chardonnay (half bottle) - $16. Pretty good. They sell wine by the bottle (both regular and half bottles), which I appreciate. Main Course Pasta Gemelli with Vodka Cream - My niece ordered this and liked it. Pizza Burrata Queen (12" medium) - I shared this pizza with my nephew and it was really good. Just a heads-up: it's a bit spicy because of the hot pepper oil (Maldon salt and Tony's hot pepper oil). If you prefer less heat, you might want to ask them to go easy on the pepper oil. The pizza also includes ricotta, sliced mozzarella, pesto, burrata cheese, and agave garlic. Dessert We tried the Freshly-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies. You can probably skip this. About the Name Back to the name "Slice House." Yes, they actually sell pizza by the slice, which is a great option. I noticed several big-sized guys ordering just one slice each -- though maybe that was just their snack. Interior and Exterior Tables - At first we sat inside but there was a man loudly cheering at the basketball game that was shown on the wall TV. (The inside was fairly nice except for the loud man. I think he was an unhoused individual but he was neat and fairly pleasant.) We moved to the outdoor seating. It was pleasant especially at 80 degrees after dark. Service - You order at the counter and the staff was pleasant. Location This eatery is located in the entertainment complex where AMC Burbank 16 is located, directly across from the theater. Parking Use the complex parking structure and enter from N. 1st Street. Parking is free, although the structure can feel a bit cramped. Overall A good casual dining spot, especially if you're catching a movie nearby. I'd come back for the pizza -- but next time I'd skip the salad and dessert. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

    XL 20" Motorhead
    Marjan N.

5* Food 5* Service 4.5 Ambiance I'm a fan of Slice House and now my family is on board too! Everyone was impressed and blown away with the crust and flavors. My first experience was at their Porter Ranch location, and it was great. However, I absolutely LOVE the Burbank location because of the service and atmosphere. The pizza at both locations is fabulous and exceptional, but Farzan went above and beyond to make my experience truly exceptional and unexpected. He was kind, courteous, and even offered to carry my three large pizzas to the car. WOW! His recommendations were spot on, as I wanted to try the Purple Potato and the award winning Cal Italia. I also ordered the Motorhead, which was absolutely fantastic. Of the three pizzas, hands down our favorite was the Purple Potato. The bacon and pesto sauce made this pizza exceptional. Both aesthetically and flavorful, this was perhaps the best pizza I have ever had. The Motorhead was also incredibly flavorful and the basil on top elevated it beyond your typical pepperoni-and-sausage pizza. Our least favorite was the Cal Italia, as it didn't really stand out in flavor. It was a bit sweet and lacked the "pop" that the other pizzas had. The fig sauce, asiago and gorgenzola cheese did not really stand out. With both indoor and outdoor seating, this clean and more attractive location is my new favorite pizza house. Thanks to Farzan for leaving an inspiring impression of what the service industry needs more of.

    Hot Honey Slice
    Mary A.

Very big space with plenty of seating. The service was friendly, although it did take a while for our order to come out. I ordered the Hot Honey Slice and was impressed by how large the slice was for the price. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the flavor. The pizza was extremely greasy and lacked the hot honey flavor I was expecting. I'd still be willing to come back and try some of their other slices, but I would personally pass on the Hot Honey Slice.

    Hawaiian Hit Man
    Lucy Y.

The best Hawaiian pizza ever! We tried the Hawaiian Hit Man, & even my friend who is NOT usually a fan of pineapple on pizza loved this one. The pineapple is fresh - not canned like you usually find on pizzas - and it's sliced suuuper thinly, so it's still crispy. Then there's smoked ham and Applewood smoked bacon on it, and honey! We got the thin NY style & seriously, I'd come back just for this. We also tried the Detroit style Sweet Gino. We wanted to like this just as much, but it was too bready for us. If you like a puffy thick crust, this one is actually light - not as heavy as others. And the sauce is very good. Since this is the only place I have ever seen that uses fresh pineapple, & their Hawaiian is so good, I will definitely be back!

Can I order a slice or only whole pizzas? I am assuming by the name that I can...

They've got a selection of daily slices in various styles available you can order (but not customize).

Any gluten free options at this location?

You can get Gluten Free option on 12" medium pizza. It is not available for the already made slices nor any of the other styles of pizza.

Can you build your own pizza and toppings? Website seems to only have designated pizzas.

Great question Steve! While we don't have build your own pizzas, we have plenty of pizza options for every kind of palate. You can order any whole pizza off the menu or select one of the slices (the options rotate every day). We hope to see you soon!

I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. There's a nice little patio outside when the weather is nice to enjoy your food. We got a wrap and it was really good! The chick'n was nice and the lettuce was fresh. We ate inside and the air conditioning felt really nice in the heat. I did struggle to find a properly sized trash can to throw anything away when we were done but the staff behind the counter was happy to throw away stuff for us. I like this location and there's lots of healthy food nearby which feels really refreshing. Parking is really difficult though but this area is notorious for that. I had a good lunch here and I will probably be back soon when I am in the mood for some vegan alternative offerings.

April was very pleasant and helpful and suggestive as well as Igor as he delivered our food. Everything was hot. He checked back on us. He thanked us on our way out . Your staff is very pleasant, quick ,friendly and the food is out of this world and we've eaten a lot of vegan so kudos to the staff and the owner I wish you had a place in Vegas if we're ever back this way, we definitely will come here. Thank you again for the hospitality and the amazing food.

I just added a banana chili pepper and it tasted fresh and delicious! There was an online promotion today so the bowl was $12.18 instead of $20.30 (without taxes). I thought the portion would be on the smaller side but it was not the case at all. I am full, satisfied, and would order again!!

Having spent $93.40, the quality of the yellowfin tuna is hardly high quality and the quantity of fish was about 1/3 the amount of regular poke places. Items ordered were the Classic Tura, Superfood Bowl, Spicy Tuna Bowl, Keto Bowl, and two different BYOB burrito - all barely had any flavour...can we say bland? Also, the bowls and burritos were filled with primarily the base ingredients (rice/cauliflower rice), sweet potatoes, kale and bean sprouts (depending upon the bowl selected). These items are not only inexpensive but fills up the bowl. If you call it a poke bowl, at least 50 percent of the bowl should be filled with poke and not filler. Otherwise, it would be called a rice bowl with poke! Street parking is difficult in this Burbank location and I was greeted with a hostile attitude even though I spent nearly $100.00. Both food and service is lacklustre.
