It's rustic in that honest, country way: wood, warmth, and a smallish-town Squamish vibe that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. The location does half the work for the ambiance, the rest comes from the feeling that someone actually cares about feeding you well. This is home-cooked brunch with intention. Portions are generous without being sloppy, and every plate feels thought out, like it's been tested by real people who eat breakfast for a living. The pancakes are the headline act--huge, fluffy, unapologetic, and exactly what you want when you're leaning back in your chair wondering if you should order another coffee or surrender to a food coma. And if the night before got a little loose, the double Caesar is a public service: bracing, restorative, and delivered without judgment - oh my aching head. What really seals it, though, is the staff--genuinely welcoming, on their game, and clearly proud of the place. The Crabapple Café isn't trying to be trendy or precious. It's just very good at what it does. A must-try in Squamish, especially if you believe breakfast should be comforting, filling, and a little bit healing. This is not our first time, and definitely not our last. The cafe has become our way station before heading up to Whistler. CHEERS!!!

I came here with my parents and had a net positive experience here despite the 3 stars. It's a…read moresmall place, with about 3 tables inside and 3 outside, but they do provide real plates, cutlery, etc for dining in. The staff were very friendly. They were out of a few things - no more oatmeal and only one serving of matcha left when we all wanted matcha, but the alternatives that we went with were still appealing, so it wasn't a big deal. The one matcha went to my mom, and it seemed like she got the scraps of it because it looked and tasted pretty watery. I got a chai latte which was pretty good but a little grainy. The food on the other hand was really good. I got the buckwheat pancakes and tried some of the smoothie bowl. The pancakes were hearty and fluffy, topped with a delicious berry chia jam and cashew cream. The plate came with 3 small-ish pancakes which was a satisfying portion that wasn't too much. We were also asked if we wanted maple syrup with the pancakes, but I ended up not needing to add any because the jam and cream were enough. Maple syrup is $2 for a small cup so I would recommend skipping it unless you really want something sweeter. The jam and cream are just modestly sweet which was perfect for me. The blueberry smoothie bowl was also delicious and came with lots of toppings - their granola had a delightful texture. It was a bit of a wait for food, so ordering the breakfast plates is probably not the best option if you're in a hurry, but they have ready-to-eat stuff available if you do want something quick, and the drinks didn't take long. I would be interested in coming back to try more of the food menu if I were in Whistler again.

The folks working there were just as nice as can be and directed us to the stew, which was my favorite we also ordered the rise N shine wrap which was also good. My goal for our trip was to find the best poutine and I found it here! We started out with one serving of poutine and while we were eating it, we found ourselves more hungry than we thought. We decided to order the burger and then another order of the poutine fries. The server was so nice, I wish I remembered her name. The service was quick and the food was hot. The burger was fantastic!Poutine was not what I was expecting, it was even better! The fries were hot as well as the gravy and the cheese curds were starting to melt a little. 100% will be back before heading back to the states just for their poutine!

Brownie was warm, soft in the middle with just the right amount of chocolate and nicely puffed and the ice cream on top was super creamy and rich with chocolate sauce- the mix of hot and cold was good. Portion was a lot too for the price. I would recommend to not have too much of whipped cream as it makes dessert heavy. The vibe of the place is pretty chill, surrounded with nature , mountains and felt totally local. Service was friendly, nothing fancy but the staff felt relaxed and easy going and helpful. They didn't mind us taking our time either in selecting from menu. Clean ambience and good vibes. Overall it feels like a nice little local spot to grab dessert or even just hang out with friends. I'd go back next time to try different signature dishes of the restaurant.

Provisions is definitely a popular, buzzing spot in the morning! I noticed tons of people ordering…read moretheir breakfast sandwiches--which looked great--but for me, the tater tots were calling my name. I am so glad I went with my gut because they were incredible! They came out perfectly hot, nice and crispy, and were tossed in a seriously flavorful sauce that took them to the next level. The space itself has a few tables if you want to sit and enjoy your food, along with a super convenient self-serve water station. Definitely a great, lively little spot to kickstart your morning--don't skip the tots!

Another 1 star review for the laptop issue. It's their prerogative to have whatever policy they…read morelike, but they could not have handled it any worse. They have a tiny sign hidden behind the water faucet, so small that I didn't see it in two visits to the place. About 20 minutes in, I was made aware of the no laptop rule and put it off to the side. At this point I hadn't even finished drinking my coffee or eating my pastry. As soon as I was done with them, the same boss lady came over and basically asked me to leave because "there were families looking for a table." She even had the audacity to tell me to "read the room." At this point it had been 42 minutes since I entered the establishment and about a half hour since I received my order. I was seated at the smallest table in the place and not taking up much space at all. It would have been tough for even two people to squeeze in to the table where I was seated. Adding insult to injury, in between my two interactions with the boss, a customer rudely asked when I would be leaving. It took all my strength to politely offer to share the table with her, but she just said she wanted the whole thing to herself. So in the span of about 20-25 minutes I had 3 separate conversations trying to justify my existence at this tiny table. It was unreal and I honestly thought I may have been on some hidden camera television show. This place basically wants to take your money and then rush you out so they can get more people in there. I understand the obvious dollars and cents motivation for this, but it's crass and callous and completely unbecoming of even a small town coffee shop. I travel about 200 days a year and I've been to literally hundreds of terrible coffee shops, but I've never in my life been treated this poorly as a paying customer. Maybe just place a big sign informing everyone of a time limit on how long they can sit. Or at least tell the guy who walks in with a laptop bag and blatantly sets up his laptop that he can't hang out there (like I said I was unaware of the policy so obviously wasn't hiding anything). I would have paid double, even treble, to just be informed in advance so I could patronize a different local business in Whistler and avoid that experience.
