There are strands that she completely missed and left long all over and cut the strands then cut strands around my face that are even shorter like curtain bangs almost. I asked for a balayage with natural dirty blonde highlights and she did thick, chunky, messy highlights that are not the same on either side of my head. The color is like very very light yellow and my hair is very damaged and thin and sticky. She offered to have me come in and have it toned but I'd have to be crazy to let her touch my hair again.

There are certainly fancier, higher priced places around town, but the laid-back, easy vibe here suited me perfectly. The people are nice and Kari was able to accommodate me when my usual place was booked out for weeks. We chatted briefly about my cut ("just a trim") and she took her time to make it look just right -- plus the price was very reasonable. A nice bonus was a sleeping puppy at my feet and free candy!
