We had the entire place to ourselves when we were there and overall my son and I had a good time. I think there are many ways this immersive experience could have been more elaborate... I would add the smell of candy and snow falling from the sky, I would include the beginning picture done by the photographer with the nutcracker background as part of the ticket cost... I was shocked they wanted to charge me an additional $25 for it. My tickets for my son and myself were already over $100! I would also give some type of holiday food item during or at the end of the show to help make it really special. I would include more real instruments in the first room and I would add many more props to the following rooms. There was also no type of ballet going on anywhere in any scene. We even asked where the ballerina we had seen in the advertisement was. No one knew. Also it looked like there was smoke in the advertisement and there was none. It has a lot of potential to become a really amazing immersive experience. Since we came on their opening day and we had the place to ourselves it was a very special experience. We felt safe enough to take our mask off for the pictures. I have no idea how crowded it was any other time but we went at 2pm on a Friday. read more

Went to the one at the Lighthouse in Los Angeles. It's in the same space as the Van Gogh, which was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. This one was shockingly short. When they say it is 25 mins, that can't be right. That includes an awkward, cringey music video at the end. Our party of eight included all ages, and neither the 6 year old or the 83 year old had any idea what was going on in this bizarre interpretation of the classic story. read more

BETTER THEN THE REVIEWS - I felt this was VERY WELL DONE. Immersive Nutcracker is a way to Introduce your Young Family/Children to ART. If you have children You know that attending the Theater to Actually SEE the Nutcracker wouldn't be comfortable because what do we do "Sit down, Shhhh" Here there is none of that. This was an environment where standing, sitting, dancing, observing Was All acceptable. Littles could Enjoy the Sounds, the Celebrated Cherished story Of the Nutcracker and not be board. Went to the one at the Beverly Center. Could have been much better. It's a rip off. For the amount they charge for tickets we were expecting something spectacular. It looks janky IRL but decent in photos (it's most definitely a catfish!). The VR goggles were all blurry (we tried several). The only saving grace was the staff and cast. They all get 5 stars! Very helpful and entertaining. PRO TIP: The website and Fever app give ZERO information as to where in the mall this place is, so here I come to save the day! #YoureWelcome The Nutcracker is located in the Beverly Center mall on level 8 in Grand Court adjacent to the Vans store. The best place to park will be on any level 2-5 on letter "E" which is the Grand Court elevators. Take those elevators to level 8. Once you arrive on level 8, you'll see H&M, right across from there will be the Nutcracker. Closest bathroom is on the 6th floor near the Louis Vuitton store. read more

When I told them I think this is it, and they were disappointed. We were disappointed. We got the family premium package and all we got is a nutcracker Christmas ornament and a little sock with a little candy cane. There was nothing to see. And I spend over $200 for a family of 5. I'd give this zero stars if it was an option. This is such a waste of money. The only thing that was good about it was that our family was together and went for lunch in Lincoln Park, which was completely unrelated to this Nutcracker Immersive. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Buy real tickets to a real holiday experience - like the actual Nutcracker ballet performance or tickets to the Lion King. It is such misleading marketing. The life size Nutcracker is this dorky little statue that in the corner of a small bar/waiting area. The kid activities are non existent. All drinks including hot chocolate for the kids was for purchase only. People were just walking around with perplexing looks wondering if there was something more waiting in another room. It's a bit hard to find, it's on the second floor above Veggie Grill. A unique family and date friendly experience. It takes about an hour to get through the immersive exhibition. The digital photo taken at the entrance is included with your ticket or available to print and purchase. The Nutcracker theme is joyful and vibrant. The gift shop is filled with cute ornaments. My favorite is the Snow room full of balloons and the Christmas hallway for the pictures. read more

I thought it sounded poor, but my mom wanted to go so I went around three xmas season. Seriously the biggest fleece of $60 I can recall in current years. We went to the one in Denver, CO. Drove 30 minutes each way to stay maybe 20 minutes. It's just a 30 minute video played on repeat and projected onto walls in a warehouse sized room. There's no interactive sections or activities included. Literally, just a video on walls. It's a total money grab for the price of the tickets! $30.00 for basic tickets and $45 for premium which includes an ornament that costs $20, so you're "saving $5"? Basically this was a 15 minute film projected in a large room. There was nothing interactive about it. The same film was shown in two rooms and on a balcony area. There was nothing that the kids could touch or walk through or learn about the show. Nothing for them to participate in or have any activities at all. It was overpriced and very brief. The special souvenir was a tiny stocking with a candy cane in it, nothing to do with the Nutcracker. Parking was also $20. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! The animation was bad and the acting was horrible. I basically lost 30 minutes of my life. If I could I would rate zero stars,my daughter was bored and during the show like 50% of everyone that was there left. It should've been longer and they tried to fit to much into the 30 minutes that they had. This made me not EVER want to watch that show AGAIN.
