i have found this company to be unreliable: Shannon and her co-worker came to my home to see if Shannon would be able to clean the construction dust. Shannon and I arranged a cleaning date which I cancelled due to an unexpected change of an appointment. We made another cleaning date. Two days before the cleaning date I called to confirm that Shannon would be coming. I left a message for her to return my call. Several days later Shannon called to say that she was in the hospital and her friend had her phone and didn't know how to reach me. If this seems confusing to you it is to me as well. In this same phone call, Shannon said she had gotten 7 new clients to clean on a regular basis. She said she was committed to clean my home and would call me at a later time to set an appointment. Five weeks have now passed. I have not received a call back. i have left two messages asking her to call me. read more

The Irish Washerwoman was excellent. We felt comfortable leaving her in our home with out being home and came home after an incredibly long day to find the house spotless. We pretend we will make the time to really get in there and clean under the bed...but it doesnt happen. I work more than full time so to just not have to clean and leave that to someone else, well that is a godsend. Our house seems to attract dust...And we have an insanely fluffy cat..She obviously has the secret dust picker upper...AND there was a stain in our sink ( my husband used pool draino - bad idea ) it has been there for a year and she got it out...with out it even being on the "must tackle list" shows me that she is a pro at her job. Responds quickly, does a great job, and offers really fair prices. She's also very sweet and personable, which might not be required for this service but it definitely helps. I called her and left a VM, I assume because she was busy with a job, and she called me back within a couple of hours. She was able to book me 2 days later and even came by my work to pick up my key, making it really easy for me. She charged half of what another bigger company quoted me. read more

I am updating my original review, because while cleaning my house, Shannon had told me about a fantastic mobile machine she had just acquired for cleaning carpets and upholstery. I had been looking for someone I could trust with this job for a while, and I knew that my area carpets and upholstery were quite dirty from multiple moves and living in an open-air house. I absolutely ADORE Shannon. I have hired a few housecleaners and have never had the WOW moment. I always thought that I could have done a better job. However, when I first hired Shannon I was unsure what to expect. I knew I needed my floors cleaned, my windows cleaned, and my bathroom thoroughly scrubbed. Much to my delight I returned to the cleanest house I've ever seen with a lovely note and plant from Shannon. She also included suggestions for some of the trouble areas I had expressed to her. I called Shannon last minute to schedule a move out cleaning. The house was a mess from some recent repairs and we had an extremely disgusting oven that needed some TLC. We also had the carpets cleaned and I was very happy with the service. When the cleaning was done the oven was spotless and the house looked amazing! I got my full security deposit back! Shannon was so accommodating of our specific needs (filling holes in the wall and painting if needed) and she worked quickly even tho payment was by the hour.
