    Best service ever
    Bob P.

What a great place! We were shown a table outside with a great view when other restaurants had long lines on a Friday night. It was good to try this new place. The sun was a little warm and our server, Karen offered us a table nearby in total shade, but we would have a different server. I told her no way! We want you. I could tell she from NYC, so we are her people. Haha Could not have asked for better service and it was a great meal. Can't wait to come back. Please give this new place a try, and if you happen to be from New York, like it seems everyone here is, ask for Karen and tell her we sent you. Lol

Started off with some Mocktails, Faux- Jito & Coconut Fizz. For the appetizer Poutine Short Rib YUM highly recommend. Caribbean Cobb for an entree. Yum again! Fiancée ordered Triple tail! Fast service to the servers best ability being in the weeds, Bryce was the waiter. Would dine again! The dock was perfect weather for sunset around 7:20PM. Phenomenal view!

Great service. Food was quick, fresh, & very good! Atmosphere was great, not too busy on a Wednesday night. Would definitely go back! Super accommodating with my gluten allergy, took it very seriously to make sure I got the right thing!

    Mushy crab sliders

The only good part of our experience was sitting at the bar for one drink, waiting for lunch to begin-great service! We were then seated by the water to order our meal. Ordered crab cakes sliders and the crab bombs. Services was horrible for us and 3 other tables. The crab sliders came out without the crab bombs. After waiting over 10 minutes, went inside to speak with the manager-she never came to the hostess station. To make a long story shorter, declined the crab bombs and asked to have them removed from my bill. My husband then went inside to speak with the manager and she blamed it on the heat-for God sakes, we live in Florida. The waitress went up to my husband and gave him the wrong bill and the waitress was detogratory towards him in front of her manager-wth. Will NEVER go back....

The Winesett House is decorum and ambiance above all. Once you enter you are immediately taken to an English Fine Dining Establishment. We started with refreshments at the bar, with delicious Bloody Mary's, fine Wines of all sorts, Martinis, etc Then we went into the private dining room off the front of the entrance. Comfortable, well place tables, with enough room for our guest to mingle between tables. The staff is superb, the starters, appetizers are enticing, and the entrees are a wide range of variety from salmon to chicken with waffles, glorious fresh salads, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, steaks. All very well prepared to your desire. This event was our second celebration at Winesett House, always we are extremely pleased. We will return definitely for another future occasion.

They had very loud music compared to what we normally hear walking by, which was pretty annoying to try to talk. We also ordered the Arancini but that came out after the picture was taken. We had 3 adults and we didn't even finish everything we ordered. The service was great from the host stand, our server, and food runners. The dining area was clean and once the sun went down, they opened the side walls to make it a large open space. We will definitely come back. Our only issue was that the music was just so obnoxiously loud and it made it hard to have a conversation without yelling.

I had to go to the bar to order food and drinks. Well ... I made the mistake of waiting a half hour before going to the bar and instead of being completely dead with no wait the kitchen was slammed by the time they got my order. I didn't get my food until I complained to the manager 2 hours later and the burger was a hockey puck because it had been sitting under the heat lamp for WAY too long plus it had more salt than ketchup on it. The manager tried making excuses until I told him, "If your waitresses would gave done their jobs two hours ago we wouldn't be having this conversation." I have gone back since then, but I stopped buying the VIP tickets and I stopped eating food there. I just enjoy the music and buy a drink or two. They've easily lost $500 from me because the manager didn't say, "I'm sorry" and make sure that I got a hot, fresh meal that was cooked correctly that night. The location is beautiful. The management is second rate at best.

I looked at the outdoor bar but every single seat was taken. All the outdoor tables were booked. So I went inside and saw the inside bar was also full. A table for ten and a table for 6 had departed and needed to be bussed, but both were too much for just one person. So I checked in w the hostess and she asked - booth or table. I wanted table. I got a nice table by the river! Lovely views. Exactly what I wanted. Menus were dropped and soon, Sam was checking in on me. I was so hungry, I had looked at the menu and pics on my way there. I went for the crab cake appetizer and the Gold Wave cocktail. For my entree, I was torn between the Grouper Reuben and the Sea Dog (fried grouper on a long roll, topped with all sorts of goodness). Sam said grouper Reuben was his choice. He asked if I wanted grilled, blackened or fried. I told him to surprise me. For my side, I had the choice of (more) coleslaw (it has coleslaw instead of sauerkraut), fries, sweet potato fries, or a side house or Cesar salad for $4 more. I went w the house salad and their standard citrus vinaigrette. Salad and crab cake came out first. Salad was a huge portion- romaine (some pieces needed better washing), red onion galore, halved cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices. It was great, but needed croutons. The crab cake was the perfect size for one person. It had a whole grain mustard remoulade sauce. Yum! It had some filler but also had a lot of crab. I enjoyed it. The grouper Rueben came out hot!!!! Served with a side of coleslaw and a pickle. I added some needed salt. Boy that fish filet was huge. Sam had put it in grilled for me. Healthy. Nice. I ate half and then I was stuffed. I filled up on the salad and crabcake apparently. I enjoyed the views of boaters going by. It started to rain hard and the folks outside just stayed there. The overhang must've been protecting them well. My server, Sam, was around often to answer my questions. Apparently the grouper Reuben market price is only $21. And if you want redfish or mahi, the price is the same- $21! That's crazy. What a deal. The gold wave is made with Elijah Craig; Good ol Kentucky bourbon. And for dessert, they have cheesecake, peanut butter pie, mud pie, key lime pie, coconut sorbet and orange cake (which he says is a local favorite). I was too stuffed to buy but happy to hear the list. Overall I had a wonderful meal and service was really good. I would recommend adding croutons to the salad, and cleaning up the bathrooms regularly. This place ain't fancy. It's a dirt parking lot. The tables are naked. Folks come casual. However, the prices are great and the food does the talking. Come check them out.

Every time our kids dropped their crayons, we jokingly told them, "You snooze, you lose," because we didn't want them picking anything up off the floor. Our waitress was very kind and patient, but we barely saw her throughout the meal. The service could definitely be more attentive. We also waited quite a while for our check, and by then our kids were getting pretty impatient. The kids' mac and cheese looked just like Kraft mac and cheese. The kids enjoyed it, but it's probably not something we'd order again since it's easy to make at home. The oysters were delicious, and I also really enjoyed the fried shrimp basket. I wasn't a fan of the radish sauce, but the coleslaw was excellent. My husband ordered the whole fried fish basket. Unfortunately, it was served without any utensils, so we had to wait until we could flag down another waitress to ask for some because we couldn't find our server. The fish also would have been easier to eat if it had been cut or partially filleted, as the crispy coating fell off the fish when trying to eat it, making it less appetizing. Overall, the food had some highlights, especially the oysters and fried shrimp, but cleaner floors and more attentive service would have made the experience much better.

So a few things to know: this restaurant Stretto, has become the only sit down restaurant in the Sun Seeker "Resort". When Sunseeker opened before the take over by Hilton, there was Maury's steakhouse and 2 other restaurants. We ate at Maury's , it was pricey but food selection and quality was up to Par with a fine dining restaurant. So since Hilton bought the hotel, the other restaurants are gone and Stretto is the Only restaurant on the premises unless you want to eat in the food court. My experience at Stretto was negative to say the least. I booked the at Sunseeker for Father's Day weekend. Made reservations at Stretto expecting a great time. We got there and right away I knew this was not Maury's . Wait staff lack the experience and professionalism of a fine dining venue. Our waitress Melody waited a long time after we had ordered drinks and appetizers to casually announce they were out of sea bass and scallops. Mind you they have a very limited menu and entrees run from $48 pork chops, $76 short ribs $209 steak. Based on the mixed reviews of the restaurant the sea bass and scallops were the safest options. So now I had no choice but to find another expensive option on their limited pricey menu. I would have left except we would get charge $25 a person for last minute cancellation and I didn't want to spoil my husband's special dinner. I ordered the $56 Pan seared bronzino which was fried not seared. It was a blend piece of finish on the plate. Everything is à la carte. Sides are $13-18. My husband had a 4" petit filet at $58 that was over seasoned and average. A wedge salad with a chewy piece of bacon that the knife couldn't cut and could not be swallowed. Cold truffle fries . Everything was salty . All in all, very disappointing and upsetting experience. Poor food quality, service at a high price point. After we were done and we got the check, it took the waitress at least 15-20 minutes to process payment while my husband was exhausted and anxious to leave. If you're staying at Sunseeker, don't waste your money. Get in your car or uber to one of the many restaurants within 10-15 min from the hotel.
