Ordered the Chicken with Fresh Veggies, 2 of them, and when I picked it up it was $43. I remembered it being 17 something When I questioned it she said that's how much it was. I looked at the bill. It was 17 something but then I charged an addl $3 for each meal to ADD CHICKEN to the "Chicken with Fresh Veggies". When I pointed that out she told me I was being nasty and not to come back. Well I certainly won't and do not recommend. PS. Took 20 calls before someone answered. Not rings, calls and they forgot the marinara.

Try answering the phone, called for one hour straight. Can't place an order to pick up if you won't answer the phone.

I talked into the meatball hoagie with a house salad with the house dressing. Can't wait to eat.... The house salad and Italian bread with soft butter were outstanding. By the number of ingredients, that salad was made with a lot of love. Waiting on the meatball hoagie.... The mixed peppers on the meatball with a large mound of melted mozzarella cheese. The sandwich was large enough that it was a struggle to get my mouth around it to take a bite and that's a good thing! The meatballs and red sauce were as good as ever. My sister had never been to Muriale's so she became an instant fan. After 8 years away this meal was great. Don't ever change and keep it classy. Thank you!

As we're temporarily home bound, a friend brought us delicious takeout from Muriale's. We shared two somewhat-similar and tasty entrees, (1) Eggplant Parmesan ($21) featuring lightly breaded and fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, house-made marinara sauce and (2) Veal Parmesan ($24), with lighted breaded and fried veal, fresh mozzarella, and house-made meat sauce. Both entrees were served with a side of spaghetti and tomato-based sauce, house salad, and garlic toast. Note that the house salad was excellent, consisting of fresh greens, onions, cheese, olives, tomatoes, pepperoni, and roasted red peppers. We chose the balsamic vinaigrette as our dressing. (Side salads in the Fairmont/Clarksburg area are often only iceberg lettuce and a shaving or two of carrots). Our initial thought was that the prices were a bit on the higher side. However, in seeing the high quality of the food, the generous portions, and the "extras" that were included (salad, garlic toast, etc.), we feel that it was a good value.

While I understand this is not exactly the same, we all know it basically is. So I had an idea of what we were in for. Or so I thought. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. At our arrival there were three other tables. The largest had four people. The atmosphere was very quiet at this time. Our waitress was very nice to us but still somehow seemed overwhelmed or busy. We ordered the Tuscan Brucshetta for an appetizer. What was brought to use was a hotdog/hoagie bun, toasted with tomatoes and balsamic on it. For lack of a better word, it was weird. One of the entrees was a calzone and I'm not even certain the dough even saw any heat. It was pale, soggy & just barely above raw. We didn't have a chance to ask the waitress to ask the kitchen to fire it again bc we didn't see her until she brought the bill and our to go pizza. Not even sure what to make of the pizza. Watery sauce and limp dough, again. We have said we might give this place another chance bc sometimes people have bad days. Not in a hurry for a rematch but will edit review if so. Plenty of parking. Handicap accessible. Plenty of room inside for wheelchairs, walkers, canes and scooters.

Here you can observe some of the local elites, tossing their blonde fake tresses and drinking expensive champagne while making sure everyone sees their brand spanking new Louis Vuittons and huge bosoms, and then there is the much more subtle and respectable old money clientele with their exquisite tailoring, indulging in one of the lovely Cabernets served here. And the Cabernet is lovely. The escargot is glorious, it is served with a little toasty roll that you use to dip up that glorious garlic sauce in the serving dish. I had the dover sole, which was straight in from, you guessed it, Dover! ;' ) I had it with fresh broccolini and parmesan risotto. G had sea bass with lobster risotto. Both dishes were cooked beautifully, the fish is flaky and light and the risotto were perfect. Our server Cody, who is absolutely wonderful by the way, tried to tempt us with desserts (one of which was a caramel hot lava cake!) but we were so full from dinner that we had to decline. Next time perhaps. And there will be a next time. PS: this is not the sort of place where you're going to whip out your phone and start photographing everything. Hence the lack of photos.

Had a reservation to sit at the bar and placed an appetizer order of the large meatball and Caesar salad. Meatball was good but the cheese filling promised was lackluster, and the temp of the meatball wasn't very warm. The Caesar salad was good. We also had table bread which came out hot and had a variety of butter, oil, and olive jam. I ordered the pasta alla vodka. It took 37 minutes to come out AFTER the appetizers were cleared. I can honestly say I have no idea why it took that long for two people's orders. It got to the point where I considered telling the bartender to cancel the order bc they obv hadn't even started our meals. Food when it came out finally was good - but the vodka sauce really wasn't. More like a creamy sauce that was very thin. Reminded me of cream of crab soup without the crab or old bay seasoning. Restaurant was nice, somewhat loud at times but being in the bar area we had a wall blocking out the sound. Overall it was good. Probably more of a 3-star experience but.

So here we go: the restaurant is several generations of ownership. When you walk in, you will be greeted by very gregarious young lady by the name of Taylor and she is part of the family who owns the restaurant. The restaurant is very modern with open space seating. When you walk in, there is a gelato station right there. The Staff is very attentive very engaging and very accommodating to your needs. Let's get into the food. The calamari you see in the picture was heavily breaded and the oil it was deep-fried in was old, so it clumped everything together, and you got more of a burnt breaded taste than the ability to taste the calamari not good at all. I had the pasta Primavera that was cooked perfect and the spices were out of this world. It had some heat. I had their tomato salad with hot peppers and anchovies. The salad was good. My critique on this would be the tomatoes they weren't ripe and juicy as described in the menu. Would I go back yes but it wouldn't be my top priority, but worth a try.

Lots of traditional Italian classics on the menu and daily specials. We had veal parmigiana and an Italian sampler with sausage, meatball, a stuffed shell, and ravioli and pasta. The veal was hand breaded and fresh. And enough for two full meals. But the breading overwhelmed the veal and it was a little over cooked. The tomato sauce was tasty but creamier more than tomatoey. I like a sauce with fresh tomatoes and less of a creamy feel. The samplers was good. The beef raviolis were basic and classic. The sausage was top notch - great seasonings, a little spicy, and very juicy and tasty. The meatball was ok-not memorable. The chicken parm was not. Olive Gardens tastes better. I really hope this resort can spruce up the food options. Food is very important when visiting any place and can make or a break a facility.
