So, I started my diet. I need to drop a few pounds. I thought hmmm a nice salad seems right. I had Uber eats pick up my To-go Caesar salad from The Ivy. The pic is attached. I thought the serving size and presentation were good. The Cesar dressing was tasty, probably made fresh. At least it tasted fresh. The cheeses were delicious and the croutons were perfect. They forgot my utensils that I requested. I don't understand how a restaurant can go to the trouble of preparing a lovely to-go presentation and not include napkins and silverware in the bag. Shame Ivy, shame... now the upside is my fingers are nice and clean from licking the Cesar dressing off of them, since I had to eat caveman style. I say try them out for yourself. I'm good with the Cesar offering. I'll have to try something else soon. read more

When it was time to show identification the bouncer told my friend that his New York State license was fake and stated that he cannot give it back and also stated if we want it back we would have to pay him 50$ for him to give it back. I came here the other night with some friends , the bouncer at the door a (short guy with black hat) asked for our ID's and when I gave him mine he claims it's fake and asked to see my personal info ID on my phone which was uncalled for. Absolutely terrible. Went there with a group of friends yesterday and the bouncer took my 26 year old friends Arkansas ID because he swore it was fake. She provided him with multiple other forms of identification and he refused to acknowledge them. Also throughout all of this he used several profanities and degrading comments to a group of females. It was honestly disgusting. Ultimately, the cops came because we called them as he hid inside and would not give her ID back. He obviously felt really powerful that he swiped a females ID. The cops immediately cleared it while he coward inside, no apology for holding us up. This man was on a serious power trip and I've never been so disrespected in my life. I feel bad for any female who comes in contact with this misogynist who takes major advantage of his role. Thank you Cleveland police for making things right! read more

We booked $100 NYE tickets. Arrived at 9:13 and they did not let us in the doors until 9:56. The event started at 9. Their "hors d'oeuvres" was a charcuterie board that was gone by 11. They also advertised a free champagne toast and midnight and that wasn't provided to us. The DJ played good music but when you're waiting in the bathroom line for 18 minutes and miss the midnight countdown, you just assume they overbooked this place and are understaffed. Even with drinks in us, our entire group was just frustrated. Won't be coming back. read more

We were initially frustrated because with a ticketed event, you know exactly how many people are showing up and they only had one bouncer checking IDs/scanning tickets and another putting the bracelets on. When we got in, I was impressed by the decor and overall vibe of the place. Was relatively easy to get drinks. The hors d'oeuvres were underwhelming--website description mentioned a black tie event with finger foods but it was picked over the multiple times I went over throughout the night. It's supposed to be one of the "best spots in Cleveland" but after going, I wasn't too impressed. It feels like they throw you into an area and charge higher than normal Cleveland prices. Their "dress code" shows a complete and utter ignorance for their place in the nightlife in Cleveland. Since when did wearing jeans become good enough to get in a sub par bar in Cleveland but a nice pair of cargo pants did not suffice. Not only was this ridiculous but showed a complete lack of self awareness. I pity anyone who goes here in hopes of having a good time. There are far better options including a bar down a set of stairs to the right of the entrance of the Ivy called 'Dive Bar'. 0 stars! Just went here for my sisters 25th birthday last night. We were told the price of the bottle service and booth was $450 total, including tax and gratuity. At the end of the night (after everyone was obviously inebriated) we were handed a bill for $512. When we tried to dispute this the wait staff and bounces separated all of us threatening to "arrest us" if we kept talking out of turn to them. Ended up getting the price down to $462 12 dollars more than what we were told on the phone) We agreed to this price just to get out of the club, signed the receipt and left. When we got back to our hotel room my sister got a fraud notification from her bank for a charge from the ivy for $512! We overlooked the fact that they told us we were getting Bacardi and ending up getting two bottles of Tito's, and that the bottle girl spilled a significant amount of our liquor on the table more than once and didn't apologize or compensate. I believe that they're intention was to jack the price up once we were intoxicated to make a few extra bucks. Will not be returning. A memorable birthday for all the wrong reasons!! read more
