It was busy without seeming crowded. The space was spacious, well decorated, unique and made good use of space. The bathrooms downstairs were artsy and in good taste! Menu was kind of limited but I have a feeling they try new things all the time so it was exciting to pick from. Too bad they ran out of some things when we went. I ordered the fried chicken dish which was fried to perfection, well seasoned and paired interestingly with pickled veggies. The portion was tiny but on par with something I would expect in a place like this. I also ordered 2 oysters for $9 which were the tiniest oysters I've ever seen. Sure, they were good but I would not get them again. My girlfriend ordered a canned non-alcoholic drink for $6 (way too expensive for a soda!) and the brussell sprouts. They were good but there was only 4 of them! Our server gave off a "I'm too cool for this gig" and dismissed my order when I asked for the chicken. He recommended the lamb which uh, was almost 3x as expensive as the chicken and not something I wanted as a light late dinner after a show... My friend's SIL worked here so she was warm, welcoming and gave us a great seat. So yeah, it's not the best restaurant in Cleveland or anything but there is something to the hype and if I do get the chance, the brunch looks amazing!

We shared an order of the "Heavenly Biscuits" and I added the "Marinated Olives". Then we both had a bowl of the "Lobster Bisque". Everything showed up in a timely fashion and in proper order. All of it was excellent. I must say, the bisque was exceptionally meaty. A pleasant surprise. As we were finishing up I mentioned I was looking forward to coffee. When Sara arrived I told her we would both like a cup as soon as we were done. With a big smile she said I heard you talking about it and already started a fresh pot for you. I was amazed... such a simple thing, but an example of extraordinary service. My compliments to Sara and the Lakehouse for employing her. Noble Beast is a great brewery in downtown Cleveland. This one felt more like warehouse breweries all over, but with its own urban jungle vibe of vines growing down from every skylight. Their beer is great quality, which is easy to see by all the awards they have displayed behind the bar akin to high school championship banners. The place was packed, but the bartenders were so nice, even chatting a while about the place. They have seating inside with picnic tables, small tables and chairs, and standing room around the bar and on the back small porch. Just based on our visit for one beer each, I look forward to returning sometime soon!
