Every time I go in this place , (it's right by my house soo, it's convenient.) the Middle Ages guy that works there fucks up my order. Purposely. Everytime this has happened - I have been the only one in the store , so it's not like he was overwhelmed &busy. I have been precise & even showed him what I wanted exactly. "I'll give you a refund, but don't come back." Not much of donut person so I seldom frequent, but this spot is close to a good friends home, and I've been a few times over the past 15 years minimum. Since I was a kid. The way I was treated today and the way their quality and service is non-existent is confirmation as to why they won't be open for much longer. Firstly, despite saying "Hello" nobody says it back. Their service and personalities are just as dry as their food. I still proceed to order 2 food items and 2 drinks because I'm bringing them to my friend who is not feeling well, and I'm short on time. I ask, "What's the difference between an Iced Coffee and Iced Latte?" The woman says one is made with cream on with milk. I choose an Iced Coffee and a Chamomile Milk Tea. That + a croissant and some donut holes come to about $20. I ask how much a croissant breakfast sandwich would be and they say $8.50. I decline, as I know the food here isn't quality enough to be spending almost $10 on a sandwich when there are better local options. I hand the woman a $20 and get my few cents change. Very overpriced, but I actually go out of my way to support local business. I know times are tough, so I'd rather give my $20 to a family owned establishment-- big mistake in this case. As I'm walking out with my stuff-- the man follows me to my car, I ask him what's up and he says "You didn't pay.." Uh yes I did. I tell him this and he looks confused and says "oh, ok" Like? I'm already at my friends place when I take a sip of the milk tea and can just tell something is off. I come from a culture that drinks a ton or tea. Loose, in bags, homemade. It's the milk that tastes bad. So now we have to go back. This is where it really goes left-- When we get back, my friend explains something is off with the drink and the woman just stares at us without moving. I'm explaining to her that it tastes off/foul/spoiled. I have had a ton of milk tea, boba, carnation milk, chamomile in my life-- like something is wrong. She doesn't wanna move-- finally I have to say, "Can you check for yourself? Smell it? Do something?" She says she thinks it's fine and they use powdered milk and everything is fine. Maybe it's the tea. Either way, she'd rather dismiss and argue before grudgingly giving a refund. She never even offered an apology for the stinky drink. We returned the iced coffee unsipped because we were afraid some spoiled milk or cream had been used for it too. She is upset that we don't trust them and don't want to risk consuming anymore stinky drinks-- So after never offering a solution, gaslighting us, never apologizing for the bad food, or offering to remake the drink-- she says "Fine I'll give you a refund, but you both never come back!" Huh? Had I given my money to Starbucks, they would have graciously remade the drink or offered a refund. Even other local cafes and boba spots will ask "Is it good? Sweet enough?" "I'll reheat this for you or remake it" when I order for pickup. I've had to literally laugh and tell barista's I'm good thanks because they care that much about wether the drink is correct and tasty-- let alone if it's fresh and safe to drink. Also ya'll basically accused me of stealing after I paid you cash and I was the ONLY customer. Why would you think I'd ever come back? Also what a disgusting thing to say??? I wonder if they tell every customer who politely asks for a refund to never comeback. I guess I'll never know because I won't be back. Restaurants close everyday. I look forward to seeing their replacement-- based on these reviews they don't care about their community, customers, or their quality. We'll see how long being rude and unprofessional and serving low quality stale and spoiled food works for them. read more

Bottom Line: Instead of making the order over or giving me a refund, the guy who works here threatened to call the cops to "resolve this" issue of him getting my order wrong, claiming he makes no mistakes. Do not come here. HORRIBLE service and food is stale. Literally all of my order was wrong. On top of that he called me a liar and said I never ordered what I ordered... to the point he pulled up video footage to prove I didn't say something-- and his own video proved him wrong (instead of giving me a refund or remaking it). Service: When you come in, no one greets you at all. There is literally no one up front. You have to scream hello for the man to even come to you-- happened twice. What I ordered: On top of that. He misheard literally everything I said. I ordered a vanilla latte, sausage egg and cheese, a plain bagel toasted, and a mocha draft coffee (from the fridge). He states that I never ordered the latte, did not say sausage egg and cheese, etc. Instead of having good costumer service. He kept fighting with me on it and saying he was going to pull up video footage to prove it. I drove all the way back to get the order corrected-- and instead I was met by him saying he has worked there for 22 years and he doesn't make mistakes..... THEN he goes in the back for footage of me saying... exactly what I said. THEN said he threatens to call the police to come resolve the issue and said he won't refund it or remake it until they get here. From here... I definitely got upset. People know what they are doing when they threaten to call the cops on black people. They KNOW! When the conversation went sour, he said he would make sausage-- but at that point I didn't want anything else from that shop-i just wanted my money back! The whole thing was ridiculous, and he could have easily just remade the order, or said it was his mistake. Overall: I wouldn't put it past this shop that the guy was disrespectful, and racist. Promised the little one doughnuts & found this one while driving. Really regretting not checking Yelp first. This cash only shop is inviting enough , looks like a typical doughnut shop in this area with the brightly colored signs & lighting inside. The prices are a bit higher for a shop of this variety. Doughnuts that are usually $.60 were $1.10. I got the (6) doughnut holes for a little over a $1 I believe and the glazed twist for about the same. The doughnuts aren't bad , they're soft but do have a bit of an after taste. I would've definitely have considered frequenting this business if it weren't for one thing. I attempted to pay for my $2.60 purchase with a $5 bill, the bill was an older model (the one before they added color) and the cashier looked at me, then the bill then refused to accept it because she felt it was fake. At this point my daughter was already eating the doughnut so I had to get my debit card and withdraw cash from their ATM, which has a $2.75 fee + a fee from my bank. Who even counterfeits $5 Bills !? I was placing an order for 6 donuts one was a maple bar and he tried to charge me for half a dozen plus a maple bar when I told him I'd been there before and theyl female employee just charged me an additional $1 his response was " well she's not here" when I asked him if he said "she's not here" he then repeated himself. I've been coming to this donut shop on and off for the last 20 years. The owner is a very sweet and nice man who remembers me even after not visiting for 6 months! the donuts here are hefty and tasty. Unlike other places near by , USA donuts make creme and jelly filled donuts with a plump and delicious amount! If you come at the right time their croissants are big and fluffy-- wonderful with your coffee. But this is a mom and pop shop, so even though this place is open late night, you cant always bet on getting something nice and fresh at 4 am. besides that, i love this place. you can always count on a bakers dozen ( the people who work there always throw you a couple extra, sometimes even if you only get half a dozen ) so don't miss this little place in the valley . Would not recommend ! Avoid this place...I wanted to give donut shop a chance. I order a sesame beagle and when I tried it . It was a Stale and didn't taste good. I told the guy in the front if I can switch it some something else since it taste old and gross . I just had an extremely unpleasant experience at this establishment the owner little man behind the counter was extremely unprofessional, rude, and could not answer a simple question about boba. All i asked was does it have high calories because i am on a strick diet. He accuse me of being rude and told me to google it and read the menu and then pointed at next customer saying "next customer" to take their order .. so skips me entirely. Maybe it was language barrier but all i wanted was a smoothie and this rude store owner yells at me more. I said you don't get my business and my money and left. I mean come on man, are you serious? BOBA! I used to drive by here all the time and never thought to come in until I was craving a boba tea late night. Came in around 10pm and got a Thai tea with boba and a peanut butter and banana shake with boba. This place really shocked me. Saw this place early in the AM and decided to give it a try. Ordered a doughnut and a croissant. What the doughnut had going for it was the cake-like consistency. Very moist and scrumptuous. Unfortunately the glaze had a strange color (orange/pink) and taste. Not a bad glaze by any means, but it had an artificial aftertaste that was less pleasing than a pure sugar glaze. The croissant was moist on the inside, but should have been crispier and flakier on the outside. It was advertised as a butter croissant, but it definitely did not have the crispy, buttery taste one normally associates with croissants. The aftertaste was a little bitter, nothing egregious, but it took away from the overall taste of the croissant. As far as decor goes, that is definitely not why you'd come here. The parking spots outside were also very small; you have to pull parallel to the curb if you want to park your SUV, since you'll block the entrance/exit to the lot otherwise. Not a bad experience, but with so many doughnut places in the immediate area, I don't see this as a place I would go to again. Mediocre, nothing outstanding. UPDATE: Feeling bad about my initial review (and finding myself hungry and in the same location), I decided to give USA Donuts & Croissants another shot. This time I tried their "old-fashioned" doughnut and a smoothie. The "old-fashioned" doughnut was streets ahead of the "normal" doughnut I tried on my previous visit. It had a firmer texture and the glaze did not have the bitter aftertaste of the aforementioned doughnut. The presentation was also welcome: it was split in half and the glaze was dripped on. The smoothie, on the other hand, was nigh undrinkable. Any semblance of fruit in the coconut-orange smoothie was drowned by an overwhelming amount of sugar. It tasted like over-sweetened thai iced tea with a somewhat fruity aftertaste. I'm not trying to overreach with my comments here, but it really was one of the worst smoothies I have ever had. On account of the egregiously awful smoothie, I lower my ranking from 3 stars to 2. Even the good "old-fashioned" doughnut was not good enough to make up for the smoothie. On top of that, the service, once again, was surprisingly poor. It took one of the cashiers over 5 minutes to serve the guy in front of me and all he ordered was a coffee and a doughnut. To be honest, I haven't really gone here in a while, and I always went when I was in high school. I usually order a strawberry banana smoothie without boba, and the woman who works with the smoothies was nice to me and she said "Thank you" when I took my drink.
