Years ago, I originally wanted to see Dr. Reza, but instead I listened to several medical doctors who recommended back surgery. I went through with the surgery hoping it would solve my problems. While it provided a small amount of relief, most of the pain remained and eventually became even worse. I was dealing with constant lower back pain that affected nearly every part of my daily life. On top of that, I had numbness and shooting pain that traveled down my left arm all the way to my elbow. Driving was miserable. I have a 1 hour and 20 minute commute to work, and by the time I arrived I would be wincing in pain and constantly shifting my body around trying to find some relief. When I finally came to Metropolitan Headache and Spine Center, Dr. Reza took the time to listen to what I was experiencing and identify the areas causing the most trouble. The results have honestly been remarkable. Not only did he address the constant pain in my lower back, but the numbness and shooting pain down my left arm also disappeared. Today, I can make that long commute to work without constantly adjusting my position or counting down the minutes until I can get out of the car. My quality of life has improved significantly. The biggest endorsement I can give is this: after seeing my results, my wife now comes here as well. That's how much confidence I have in Dr. Reza and his team. Do I still have some discomfort every once in a blue moon? Sure. But it is nothing compared to what I was dealing with before. The difference is night and day. I'm not saying this is the answer for everyone, but I am saying it worked for me. If you're struggling with back pain, neck pain, headaches, or nerve pain, I would strongly recommend at least having a conversation with Dr. Reza and his team to see if they can help. I was assured that their system was "secure". And what happens? The day after I put my card on file with them, I have fraud on my account, first for $1 (which was caught and stopped) and then a second charge of $2K. The only response from them is that they are so sorry that I have fraud on my credit card but that their system is "secure". They held my medical care hostage to get my credit card # on file and then it got used fraudulently.

I have been chasing down their billing office for a Lab Corp bill that I received that is covered by insurance. Allcare billed the wrong insurance company, and I continue to receive delinquent bill payment notices from Labcorp. Despite filing two tickets with Allcare, the issue has t been resolved in five months. Absolutely ridiculous. Allcare is seeking to be your primary care physician. We bought into that and gave it a chance. Now, I regret it. Absolutely clueless folks working in the billing and payments section. I wouldn't send my enemies here.

This office is hard to reach and reception at the "main location" is terrible. Most of the time no one picks up. I have noticed that unlike other dr offices you can only be seen with an appointment. Which is fine and dandy for wellness visits but when sickness happens sporadically you are basically forced to go elsewhere. My little girl has been sick (negative covid) for 4 days. They won't see her because of the symptoms without a covid test they preform. Before that test can even be done you need a televisit. Once that's done then you can wait in the covid line and then schedule an appointment. The hoops are ridiculous and as others have said a disgrace on the medical profession. Because of the service, despite the amazing drs we may need to look elsewhere. I see now why the turnover is so high here. As an adult I've had to switch drs about 4 times. It's the same for my husband. As a professional I would not want to be associated with the clerical staff...

Recently visited for a Saturday morning appointment. Easy to find paid street parking in front of…read morethe location. The staff was very friendly it was my first visit and I was given a short tour of the space and available services. I went in for full body cryotherapy which only lasts 3 minutes. I was given shorts to wear along with slippers sock and gloves. They provide headphones if you would like to listen to music during the service. The cryotherapy was quick and they can adjust based on your comfort level. Each service room is private which I liked. Afterwards a team member asked if I wanted to visit again for another service and told me about their memberships. I had an enjoyable and relaxing experience and look forward to visiting again. $$ (depending upon service and membership)

I was already skeptical…read morebecause the last time I went to an urgent care clinic they gave me really bad info that led to disastrous results and I have been highly skeptical ever since. This one I am glad to report is one of the good ones. Basically everybody that works there is great from the front desk Michelle who is helpful and relatable. The medical assistant Katie made me feel comfortable let me ask my questions and instruct me on what I needed to know. Then I met Dr. G who went above and beyond to let me know how serious my various conditions were that I had and gave me a practical but tactical plan to intelligently work to stop and potentially reverse each one. I had a number of side problems that I thought were unrelated to my core issue and he patiently thoroughly explained how they were all related and how it would progress to something much worse potentially something that could really ruin my life. I ask a lot of questions the doctors which I'm sure annoys them, but due to having some weird stuff I felt let down by so many. I have educated myself deeply on my own health issues but of course I am biased and have blind spots. The fact that I went to an urgent care to take care of a foot but that I was able to be happily convinced to intervene now and work with him to take the necessary steps towards greater health is something I've never seen before. And I have yet to see Dr. Axl which I should be doing soon I already have great faith that he will follow in the same great care and quality. Talking to Dr. G he explained how not urgent care centers are the same and that there's different ways they can operate and that really showed me what a gem I have stumbled upon. They have a primary care doctor there which is amazing so now I can switch my doctor there and make appointments for that or walk-ins. Now I don't know how expensive this is for everyone everyone has their own concerns with how that all breaks down. But Dr. G was very thorough with me in helping me even to understand to make it work which I've never seen before at any of the doctors I've been to. He did a thorough work up on me getting the bulk of test done today which I now have a series of follow ups that I can do and I know that I'm on the right track now. For anyone reading this I know that we all have different issues different concerns it's really hard to find a good doctor if you don't have one already and I suggest if you live in this area and you need an urgent care try this one out make sure, make sure you're clear on everything, as we know you can get surprises but the office is transparent and upfront as this, that delivers such quality as well as offering a multitude of services not seen by most urgent care centers, I think Xcel Urgent Care is a great add to Falls Church and is worth a visit if you're considering it,

Later, Dr. Akl told me that he has his own private clinic and that he could do the tests there. I took an appointment at his travel clinic, but they quoted me $900-$1000, so I decided to return to the urgent care office since it was more affordable and we already had an agreed price. When the doctor saw me, he said: "You will pay $900 either here or there," implying that the decision was his, not mine. Honestly, the staff were very kind and cooperative, but this doctor's attitude was unprofessional, especially since there was already a price agreement at this clinic. When a patient is paying out of pocket, the final decision should always be the patient's, based on their budget and comfort -- not pressured into a more expensive option. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Another patient in the waiting room was so disturbed that she followed us outside to apologize and said it was unconscionable that they wouldn't give my son a Band-Aid. She suggested we try the pharmacy inside the Giant next door. The pharmacy staff immediately helped, gave my son a Band-Aid, and asked if we needed anything else. A medical practice that refuses a crying 3-year-old a Band-Aid... Who does that?
