I've been coming here consistently for awhile now and this place is truly one of the best places in the area to get healthy smoothies and bowls. I have been going to Juice house for YEARS! And over the years I have watched them grow their menu, expand their brand, and get better and better! Juice house has by far my favorite ACAI bowls. Their granola is so delicious and different from any other. I also like that their acai is a thicker constancy and not watery. The mild sweetness from the acai, granola, honey or agave, and fruit toppings are so fresh and yummy. Their menu is plentiful of options but my favorite by far is the choco berry. The reason I give this location 4 stars is because I truly believe that the workers in Garwood are friendlier and truly love their job. Terrible! Very unhappy with the service and how things were handled. I order a Klap every single day I work, for lunch! ($10) Today it was sooooooo sour I couldn't even drink it, I walked back and asked them kindly if they could just add a little bit more spinach as it was impossible to drink. The two employees looked at me and laughed said sorry we are closed(although doors were open). Possibly could of said - so sorry can we make it up to you tomorrow? I feel what makes a great bowl and how to compare bowls to other places comes down to their granola. The Juice House, by far, has the best granola. It's the best texture, amount of ingredients, amount they actually add to the bowl (some places just sprinkle it on), and it's not overly sweet. They knows it's that good and sell it in separate bags that you can bring home. I also enjoy the açaí blend itself - also not too sweet and never overly frozen. The berries are always fresh and never mushy (no one likes mushy blueberries). This location usually does a good job of getting orders ready quickly depending on the day and time. I have been a fan of the Garwood location for a long time, so I was super excited when they opened up in my home town! Even though the prices are a bit high, its worth it to support a great local and woman owned business. The quality you get is so much better than chain places. Not to mention, the portion sizes are amazing. The acai is a sorbet consistency rather than a smoothie consistency like some other acai places have. The fruit is cut into small pieces which is nice because you can get a bit of every fruit in the bowl in each bite. But, in my opinion, the best part of these acai bowls is the granola! I am absolutely obsessed with it. This is the only acai place I know of that has raw granola that is chewy, instead of crunchy granola. I took off one star only because I do find the Garwood location to be slightly better, and I've had a few occasions where the mango was unripe (might be more of a seasonal thing than an issue with the business though). A lot of the people who have a problem with this place are what you might call "Karens" who can't stand prices going up a dollar or not having their asses kissed the second they walk into a place, so I would take those reviews with a grain of salt to be honest. As far as I'm concerned the employees have always been kind and accommodating, the service is always timely, and I've never had an order made wrong. I've gotten acai bowls at plenty of other local places, and the Juice House always comes out on top for me! read more

Went today and got three acai bowls. Something changed because they now add a very small amount of almond butter that you can barely find and one of the bowls had a date pit in it. Almost broke my tooth. Called and they said that sometimes happens because there are dates in their granola. Also the employee that took my order had acai and juice stains all over his hands and arms. read more

Juice House is by far the best juice and bowl place I have ever been to. They have an incredible selection of juices and smoothies that are all very good. The bowls are also very good. My friend ordered a Chocoberry açaí bowl, and got a completely different bowl. They gave her a coconut tan colored substance and it was called the coconutter. She went up to asked if she could have her right order. The girl that took her order insisted rudely that my friend didn't order what she said she did. I was up front with the friend and she clearly said Chocoberry. Anyways, the guy up front refused to remake hers and said she had to pay if she wanted a new one, twelve dollars wasted. On top of all that, my friend has an allergy to coconut so she couldn't even try to eat it. I am appalled that she wasn't made a new one I thought the customer was always right as they say. I am 100% certain that I would've loved juice house. The reason why I don't know is because I came to try it out on a Sunday at 2 pm and despite all signs pointing to business hours being 9-3, even the actual sign on the door AND the "updated hours" sign on the door that said 3 pm, yes despite all that, they were closed. Now I wonder, is February 10 a national holiday? One of which would warrant closing an hour early unexpectedly? I'm sure there's a good reason as to why, but I'd still like to know. read more

This is a very cute shop, lots of choices for bowls and smoothies. For me, it would be better if they used organic fruit. Even having an organic smoothie of the day would be great. (they do use organic peanut butter, I believe, and occasionally organic fruit, but there's nothing posted so there's no way to know on what days organic fruit is available) Also, each time I've been in there, they've only had vanilla yogurt which has a ton of sugar in it. I'd like to see the store offer plain greek yogurt as a base. Seems easy enough to keep plain yogurt in a fridge as a choice. By the way, I am not alone in wanting this. Between my friends and I we've made at least five in person requests-- but so far, to no avail. read more
