First time here. The guy making the smoothies is really kind and nice. I want to point out there was no welcome upon entering, but I assume that was because he was making an order for the customer ahead. Now, to the actual smoothie: I ordered a prework out with added oats. The smoothie is heavy on the peanut butter but I like that, so it was fine. However; where I am appalled is at the price: 13 dollars for a smoothie? Sheesh, and I wouldn't be so appalled if the cups were bigger. Considering the smoothie is very runny; I will admit I had almond milk, but 13 bucks for milk and peanut butter is nuts. The overall taste of the smoothie was good but the value not so much! I don't think I will be coming back here. By the way the price online says 7 dollars, I knew before I got there, inflation would definitely have caused that price to rise, but sheesh that's quite a bit for what you get. I used to have my office order from this place all the time. I just had the tastiest mayonnaise sandwich I've ever had. Which is a shame, because I ordered a tuna salad sandwich. I took two big bites and wondered why I didn't taste much tuna. I opened the sandwich up and saw this (see picture), right before I tossed the remainder of the sandwich in the garbage. I double checked the other half to see if maybe all the tuna was there, but it was just as sad. Bread was fresh, lettuce and tomato was fresh, but there was barely any tuna in the sandwich, mostly mayonnaise. It was more like tuna flavored mayonnaise. Literally, speckles of tuna within mayonnaise. I can't believe they would actually make and sell an item like this. It looked good from the outside until I picked it up and saw a scoop of tuna in each side of the wrap, I feel insulted. Is this how you treat paying customers??? I would not recommend. This place is reasonably priced and uses fresh fruit for their smoothies. They also have the option of almond milk, which is nice. It seems like you can just choose any combo of fruits you want. The paletas (popsicles) are also delicious! The coconut flavor has real shredded coconut and was nice and creamy. It was basically ice cream on a stick but so fresh and yummy. The perso chicken panini is always on point and that purple corn drink is actually very tasty. However, there have been some issues, like their prices when you order on-line being more expensive than when you walk-in, even if you're placing the order for pick-up (not delivery) and the fact that one time we went in 20 minutes before they're scheduled to close and they refused to make us sandwiches because they had already cleaned all the equipment. Such a great find- came here originally after I was with my trainer for a 6am session and realized they didn't open till 8. But I was determined to go back. I walked in exhausted - my trainer murdered me today. So I walked in and was greeted by the owner. He was really nice and I needed life brought back to me fast. I ordered a preworkout shake with soy milk and a wheatgrass shot. He gave me the wheatgrass shot and of course it tastes like grass but it helps get me moving, and then he gave me the purple corn drink as a taster! It was actually awesome (helps with blood pressure he says) so I was really happy about that. Then I got my smoothie and he also gave me a mini cup because they gave me so much but nonetheless I walked out happy. There's a few places to sit there as well- very simple menu and just a great spot to go to for a quick refresher. Oh and they have a full freezer of those Mexican Popsicles I love but I couldn't indulge as I'm on a strict regime. :) Great addition to the area. read more

My girlfriend and I got some juices as a little pit stop driving from NYC to Toronto. These were quite filling and had pretty good transparency on picking the ingredients that went into them. I feel like the menu was a little limited - this place is labeled as a juice house yet somehow they have a selection of sandwiches and salads.. not enough options for me to pick something off the menu, though, and I'm really not picky. Been here more than 10 times and salads were pretty good. Went here one morning last week to grab my salad for lunch and a BLT for breakfast with a medium coffee. I was rushing so I wouldn't be late for work. Paid the cashier and started to make my coffee. When I was finishing my coffee, cashier tells me that she charged me for a small coffee, not a large and that it would be 50 cents more. I think that was a little unnecessary especially considering all the times I've been here already to badger me about 50 cents. I've been charged for things that I didn't get but haven't made an issue of it, like avocado on my salad. I gave her the change and left. Well, I won't be coming here any more. Let me start with the positive....Everyone that works there is super nice. I really like the IDEA of a juice bar close to home. That's all...... I really wanted to like this place BUT they don't know how to make juices or smoothies. It's like they have no recipe (yes, juices and smoothies need to be balanced for taste). I ordered a juice with ginger and they put SO much ginger in it, you couldn't taste ANYTHING else. Too overpowering to enjoy. Next time I went there I ordered their Green Monster Combo, it was so thick and all you could taste was broccoli. I told them and they added more lemon juice but that did nothing for flavor. I wanted to support a local business but every time I go there I'm disappointed. They're turning into a local sandwich shop. I guess that's best since they can't do what their name states. I work by them and so I order from them often or see my co-workers get food from them. The smoothies are a tad small but really good, I've never had a bad experience there. The customer service is great as they're all cheerful and good at remembering your order. The salad toppings selection is somewhat limited but still very filling. I love their chipotle dressing... get that with anything you order there. Their prices are reasonable and you certainly get your bang for the buck. I have been a long time customer since they opened. TJ is the best he remembers exactly what I order from the time I walk through the door and he is so nice and always happy. But in my recent times going to the juice house ada the owner has served me and she is so cheap with putting in the fruit it's terrible. Was excited to see a place like this in the neighborhood..walked in, at the end of the counter a man, (owner?), said hi to me.....and that was the end of any customer service or acknowledgment...I was browsing menus, standing at the counter, the only customer in this VERY small place...and no nothing!! The two women behind the counter washing dishes and puttering around doing I don't know what...but never even looked at me..I almost couldn't believe it, it was quite strange actually....even the guy who originally said hi to me saw me being obviously ignored..it got to the point where I felt stupid..and did new business that should be doing everything they can in today's fragile economy to build customer satisfaction and loyalty CANNOT afford to ignore customers..I will never step foot in there again...not that they seem to care read more
