The juice theory is one of my favorite places! It's a super cozy place to sit down and enjoy a nice salad and warm cup of soup. They have daily soups and special salads. If you're looking for dessert their Acai bowls are to die for! You can choose any three toppings and top it off with almond or peanut butter not to mention their homemade granola makes the whole experience. Stop in for lunch and try the grilled cheese, you won't regret it!

Tofu over quinoa and curried cauliflower (I don't love curry so was not for me) but the tofu was good

The bowl gave us the perfect opportunity to try a little bit of it all. Staff member was friendly and did not skimp on toppings. We did 1/2 falafel and 1/2 mushrooms for the protein - both SO good. And the zesty feta is a must! The tahini milkshake was the icing on the cake... I'm not ever a fan of milkshakes but WOW - so creamy and delicious without being overly sweet - perfection... just don't look at the calorie count, lol!

This is a great take-out spot that I recommend to everyone.

They were not too busy when I stopped in, so I was able to get my order in right away. And I do have to say the woman that took my order was so kind and helpful! She even helped me track down another open spot to grab a coffee! I went with the salmon sandwich and it was SO GOOD!! Salmon was perfectly cooked and so flavorful and all of the sauces and other bits in it were delicious. It came on soft french bread with mango, avocado, dill, cucumber, tomatoes, mixed greens, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. Kind of my perfect sandwich. They have half and whole sizes, the whole is most likely going to be perfect for two meals, if not one big and very filling meal. They are a block from the beach so I know parking can be tough in this area in the summer, but on a December weekday it was easy! The vibe inside is clean but very casual. Perfect for a quick, easy and delicious meal. Enjoy!

Since moving to upstate NY four years ago, I only get to Good Karma when visiting family in NJ. During our latest trip we stopped at Good Karma to pick-up dinner on the way to my parent's house. We ordered the Love Bowl, Gado Gado Salad, and the Live Nachos. Issues: 1) The Gado Gada salad was a big miss. It's supposed to include lettuce, tofu, cabbage, carrots, roasted peanuts, and a sesame seed mix. There was ZERO sesame seed mix and literally ONE roasted peanut. We had asked the tofu be swapped for beans, which did happen, but basically all my wife got was a salad with lettuce and beans. 2) Live Nachos: what a HUGE disappointment. I've had these a number of times in the past and was really looking forward to these. One of my favorite parts has always been the creamy cashew sour cream. THIS TIME, there was one small dollop of the cashew cream. We basically paid $15 for a box of seasoned lettuce with 8 nacho chips -- not nearly enough chips to even eat with our seasoned lettuce. The Love Bowl, fortunately, was on par with my past experiences. However, the experience still left me questioning whether it's worth returning to Good Karma next time.

Service is very friendly and has a local feel. Menu is extensive with multiple vegan options. 1. Buffalo wrap - not much buffalo but was flavorful and lots of veggies. Filling still and delicious 2. Brownie - delicious, heavy, took part of it home Overall loved the options, came out hot and will be back to try more!

My favorite thing that I like to get are their breakfast tacos. The tacos are filled with tofu scramble and topped with chili, a cheese-like sauce, and a slice of avocado. I don't know what it is, but I smash these tacos every single time I get them. They are so good! I honestly can't speak on much else because I get the same thing every time. Also, I buy one or two of their pressed juices. They make these in advance and are bottled. For the summer season, they have a juice that consists of strawberries, basil, beets, and more that is so very good. If you're looking for a place to get your vegan fix, this is the one.

This hidden restaurant is around a 12 min walk from the shore and neatly packed with long tables perfect for bigger parties (4 to 6 people). The few times I've been there, there had only been one waitress manning all the tables, but she does a good job of keeping tabs on everyone. I haven't had a chance to try their other items on the menu yet, mainly because I keep going back for the grilled chicken chimichanga. Let me just say, it is heavy, cheesy, saucy and satisfying! Especially given the refried beans, hot rice, sour cream and salad, this is a hefty plate. My wife ordered the chicken torta, generously layered with lettuce, crema, and all the right fixings. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. I ordered beef ox tails which were always in a flavorful brown gravy over white rice with sweet plantains and sautéed cabbage with some mixed vegetables. Last night they were in a sauce that is best described as a sticky, gluey bbq sauce that I have never experienced there in the past. There was just a tiny amount of sautéed cabbage though I was grateful for it as a palate cleanser. One piece of sweet plantain, in all fairness, I did order the small versus a large order. The rice was unpleasant with that dark, sticky sauce already stirred into it so there was no escaping it. (Today I took an entire pint of leftover white rice from a previous oriental meal and stirred it into Norah's rice to make it at least edible though still not delicious like it used to be.) I am extremely disappointed Norah seems to have changed her beef oxtails brown gravy recipe. For me ... it completely changed my opinion about her beef oxtails. I miss how it used to taste.
