Guess all good things must come to an end. We came into The Junction Saturday afternoon for dinner and drinks, but because of the changeover between bartenders at 4pm, and our check getting mixed up with another customer at the bar, our incoming bartender (who has served us on previous occasions) never asked if my husband wanted another drink and totally ignored us, though I had said Hi to her. I was kind of stunned that she gave a new couple the dinner menus and never asked us if we wanted menus too and I didn't want to interrupt. Now, I had told the outgoing bartender we wanted to have dinner at 4, but I guess she didn't communicate that. Note: They change from a Happy Hour food menu to a full dinner menu at 4pm. This has never happened before and feel like it was an off day for all of them, but my husband wanted the owner to know, thus I am writing this review. Fortunately, we ended up going to Fratello's and met a new and very attentive server who only works on Saturday evenings, so all was not lost.

    Seafood Chowdet

Our waitress was really good and helpful in answering questions. The person helping run food out needs a little more training. We started the meal with the seafood chowder. The chowder was tasting, but should have been served hot. It was only lukewarm. A gentleman at the next table returned his to get heated up. I probably should have made the same decision. I really liked the flavor of the pork chop, but unfortunately it was a little overcooked, so dried out in sections. The sides helped add moisture, but you shouldn't need the sides to improve the main. I was told the burger was really good, including the one that was taken as a to go order. Much of their menu is gluten free, but French fries are not. Disappointing there wasn't a gluten free dessert item in the menu.

Had a wonderful experience at The Junction! Julie was an amazing server--patient, friendly, and helpful. The lobster pot pie was absolutely incredible. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon!

The service was amazing we had a server named Devin. The atmosphere was amazing felt like I was in Portsmouth. The drinks were divine and the food was fresh and amazing. The server also stated that they do breakfast sandwiches which is amazing too.

    Charcuterie

Went to the junction for dinner and it did not disappoint from the charcuterie board to the burger and the seafood chowder everything was a hit! Amazing service from Julie and beautifully decorated space!

They chatted with us and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie burger on a fresh pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Thousand Island dressing. It was delicious, and the pita was soft, fresh, and perfectly chewy. My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger on a pretzel bun and said it was just as delicious. We also grabbed chips, a Sprite, and a bottle of water to go with our meals. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom, which is always appreciated. There were a few tables inside if you want to dine in, and the music playing created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's also in a great location, making it an easy stop while exploring the area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely eat here again the next time we're in the area!

It was decent and pretty well seasoned but almost had too much chicken that you couldn't really taste the peppers, onions, or cheese. My friends got the chicken parm panini which was amazing and made on garlic bread. Breakfast was really good. They have wraps, breakfast sandwiches, pita pockets, etc. they also have fun lattes and drinks. I got a breakfast wrap with the Mounds of Joy latte. It was delicious. I would definitely come back and enjoyed breakfast. There is space inside to dine in and a singular bathroom. Homemade food and it was tasty.

So, apparently, the cook failed to show up for work. They were late to open and when they did we were told the menu was very limited. Fair enough, what can we order we asked. Burgers, dogs and pizza were off the list, (how these are difficult items is beyond me) fish sandwich and chicken was on the list. We ordered chicken sandwich, haddock sandwich and chicken fingers. 30 minutes later food finally showed, fish was raw inside, chicken raw inside, fries were cold. Best guess, they had not thawed previously frozen food before cooking. I used to work in the restaurant business long ago and that is all that I can think would explain this as the appearance would have led me to believe it was cooked. So, if this is the case, the food is not "made to order" as it says on their page and since they were missing their cook, no one knew to thaw the food ahead of time (best guess). One other thing, the beer I ordered was listed on menu as a 16oz beer for $8, instead I received a 12oz can, this was while waiting for food. Very dissapointing, they should have shut down kitchen under these circumstances. Their own web page warns about eating undercooked food and then they served it to us, hopefully no one gets sick from that first bite. Food was sent back, we gave up, waiter said they removed food from bill...

No matter what and we understand how it is with servers, it's very hard for them to actually attend to one table. So we understand and we know how things are made. It takes time to make certain things that you order. It's not quick when certain items but when you order. I'm burger, and it's quicker Vs something more exotic. That's wonderful or something that takes longer to cook. So we waited and waited, and we got our order. And it was so amazing. It was just wonderful, we thank you so much for this wonderful day. My husband's filet mignon lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were gummy and translucent. They should not have been served. My salmon special came out with the wrong sides, not once, but twice. They tried to give me those disgusting mashed potatoes and green beans, when the specials page said pilaf and asparagus. When I finally got the rice pilaf, it lacked seasoning. The asparagus were blackened. After being sent back twice, the salmon was warm, not hot. The pub food may be good. If you're looking for a burger and a beer, that meal might be enjoyed with a view of the golf course. Sorry Greenside, we're not coming back.

While we did find service to be a little on the slower side, we allowed ourselves plenty of time and were not particularly bothered by that. Our server was friendly despite being clearly quite busy. We both had the chicken tender basket, and while it certainly wasn't anything fancy, they were probably the best chicken tenders I've ever eaten. The batter was crispy and not too thick, and the chicken itself was some of the best I've ever eaten in terms of preparation. The fries were delicious as well, and we did not find the restaurant to be dusty/dirty or the prices to be horrendous as indicated in multiple other reviews. My biggest complaint, honestly, is that the lighting is very dim and could be problematic for some people. Overall we were very impressed and would definitely return in the future if we were in town for a show!
