I start with the fact that I hate it when a company says they'll be out within a certain window of a few hours. I always end up waiting there for the longest time and they show up just outside that window. However, not the case this time. Trey and Jonathan showed up 10 minutes before the window which was great. They greeted me with a handshake as well, which is unusual these days lately. As they came in they saw that I had light colored carpet and kicked off their shoes before hitting the carpet. Within a few minutes of listening to my version of the problem and then looking at the issue, they knew what was wrong. They gave me a quote and went to work. The whole time they were there, while one was working, the other was explaining what he was doing (yes, I hover over them watching like a hawk). They gave me instructions for how to prevent my incidents in the future and gave me advice on other things that they saw around as well. I have been in the customer service business for over 30 years and I will always choose service and quality over a cheap price every time. Not that the price wasn't what I was expecting, it was right about the price I was willing to pay. I will definitely use KPC again. These guys were awesome and very polite. read more

At about 4 Pm today I noticed a little "lake" in my downstairs bathroom. My husband called Katy Plumbing as soon as he got home, and I was a bit skeptical, as I didn't have time to talk to any neighbors for recommendations. In the next few minutes we received a call back from the company with full info on who was coming, and an e mail with the technicians picture, then a confirmation from the person himself. Ryan arrived at the exact time he had promised, looking neat and professional (remember, this was the end of the day!) He diagnosed the problem, worked on it, fixed it, etc. He was personable, educated and professional, and we immediately felt a sence of trust. We are so impressed with the company ethics that we wanted to make sure that Katy knows this company can be counted on. We were concerned about the quality of our tap water so we scheduled an appointment to find out about reverse osmosis water filtration systems. I received Jason's (our plumbers) Bio by text before he arrived. I appreciated knowing who was going to show up at my door. Jason was knowledgeable, straightforward and offered me options for water filtration. We approve the quote and he completed the work. His work was clean, he wore foot protection and put floor protection in his work area. He also made sure I understood how the reverse osmosis system worked and the maintenance requirement. I can't thank Katy Plumbing enough for the work they did today to find a water leak inside my external 2nd floor wall. It wasn't an easy task and Daniel took care of it. Not only did he find the leak, he was able to determine the cause and ultimately corrected the problem. Secondly, he was able to recommend a water restoration company but that might not be needed since the cause was due to a builder issue. I've used Katy Plumbing several times in the past and I can't say enough good things about this company. The cost was reasonable as well and he was able to provide us with a discount since we had signed up for a program the last time they came out. After the hurricane in Houston my wife and I had the unfortunate experience of having BOTH of our toilet tanks crack and start to leak and flood. I called local plumbers that were recommended on neighborhood websites and Yelp, and received the same answer from all of them. "Sorry we can't help you, we are booked up until over a week." I made one phone call to George Johnson, and pleaded with him, although that was completely unnecessary, and he told me he would have people out the very same afternoon!! on Jan. 16th received notification from Eye on Water that we probably had a leak at our house. After mud came out and confirmed I called Katy plumbing and Wilmer E. came out that night and we found the problem to be a broken pipe within the cement foundation. Wilmer made some calls and the next day it was professionally taken care of by re-routing our main water line. he then contacted a remediation company for me and all was professionally taken care of before the situation got out of hand. Absolutely amazing!!! William came out the same day, at the time he said he would, and was professional and vastly knowledgeable. He did above and beyond for us (he even fixed one of our loose bath fixtures) and they installed the replacement water heater THE SAME DAY, working late into the evening!!! I called to complain about a driver in a company vehicle his response to me was our drivers don't drive bad and we don't have time for complaints right now. While nobody wants to bear the expense of plumbing repairs, sometimes it is just not possible to do the job yourself. Could I have bought the part at the box store? Sure. Could I have wrestled and cussed while taking the old, broken part out and installing the new one? Of course. But I am too old and cranky to suffer and I wanted it fixed NOW. Today I was very pleased with the young man Jason. He was very pleasant. My home had a sink drainage problem. My sink needed to be cleaned deep down the line. He did the job and located my problem. Excellent & timely service! We called Katy Plumbing to replace a garbage disposal in our kitchen island. The blades had rusted and the water would not drain. I used the on-line form to request an appt. Mandi was able to schedule us for the same day. Daniel arrived early in the 2-5pm window we were given - 2:30pm. He was professional and friendly. William and Eric did an excellent job of re plumbing/piping our home. They were professional in handling the job and easy to work with. The work took 3 days and they minimized impact on the household being respectful of our presence and minimized downtime for having water in the home, which resulted in minimal impact on our activities. Just moved to Katy and had questions on my tankless water heater. I have never had one before. They sent a tech (Charlie) out on a Saturday who looked over the system and replaced a couple of flow aerators on my sinks to increase the pressure to help it run better. In December I had a service call to replace my toilet parts. I was not home when the repair was completed. When I checked the repair, the overflow tube was above the level of the toilet flush handle. House would have flooded if there was a problem with the water overflowing. Katy plumbing did send someone out to fix. However, after this repair the manager would not return my call.
