I ordered a kebab bowl with the base of saffron rice, a protein of carved chicken, and the free fillings of OG yogurt, romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and picked onions. To the right of the soda dispenser machine, they offer more sauces. I opted in for cilantro jalapeno and more OG yogurt. I don't handle heat that well so I skipped the fire chili sauce. Their ingredients are always so fresh and the flavors blend together so well. The prices are on the higher side, but I find myself returning because they serve hearty, soul warming meals. read more

I got a side of their saffron rice and it was super flavorful! A lot of other places I've had saffron rice, it has the color but not the flavor. This had both and I'm really happy about that. They have a condiment island with a few different sauces and items for your food, and overall the food fresh and tasty. Much better choice than fast food and the lamb wrap is always yummy !! This little shop has a new name The Kebab Shop and it was very easy to find. It's not all the way downtown. It's right off Highway 29 and University Drive in a shopping center on the right. Eugenio ROCKS this location.!!!! He's very friendly and has a great personality, very gracious.!!! His line cook who prepared the food was also very nice. I will try to get her name. Food was prepared. Exactly as requested. One thing I love is the char on the wrap. Gives it a whole different flavor. The lamb beef was very tender and flavored correctly. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and french fries accompanied and made this two-man meal. I enjoyed serving myself the sauces that I preferred versus either wasting things that I wouldn't enjoy or not getting enough of what I wanted. I think it's a great idea. I also had a fountain drink -again everything very clean and tidy. I could give a whole separate review on the crave fries and I know why they are called CRAVE. My partner and I went to the Kabob shop in Wolf Ranch for dinner tonight. While we were waiting to order, I walked over and checked out the free sauces. There's fire, a cilantro sauce, and og which seemed like a tzaziki. I was excited to try them but went back to order instead. She got the grilled steak 'plate' with spicy hummus and I had the wrap san diego style. The spicy hummus was pretty hot; she almost started sweating and hardly ever does that. The steak tasted good and was cooked properly. The san diego style wrap was delicious and bigger than I expected. The fries and feta added a nice touch. Now back to the sauces... Og wasn't bad but the fire and cilantro sauces were delicious. They added great flavor to everything. Service was good and I appreciated the playlist. read more

I'm glad I was able to stop by and try this place I like GYROS, but this is a GYRO wrap instead of it being on pita bread. First of all it's longer then I thought and they were not stingy with the protein or the other ingredients. It has a different twist it, instead of the French Fries being on the side it's inside of the wrap, y'all let me introduce to you the San Diego wrap. So much food. The portions are MASSIVE. You could definitely split 1 bowl between 2 people. The service is super friendly and helpful. The food was brought out super quick and the vibe in the store is really great. I love the seating and I think that the food was very high quality. I do wish there was a bit more meat portions in the bowl, but for the price it seems super fair. I also like that they have sauces on the side and you can add as much as you want! Always a pleasant experience. They remember who I am every time I go there, the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff are warm and smiley which I really appreciate as well. They keep the restaurant clean and even the bathrooms are well kept. This place is one of my favorite restaurants. My favorite dishes are pretty much everything but my go to is typically is the Kefta kebab, kale salad side, and side of falafel. Also the pita chips are incredible also.
