This is some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. Really crispy, but still very moist and tender. The baked beans were sweet and smoky.

It's a bit of a hole in the wall place. Don't let that fool you. The chicken is excellent! Some of the best I've ever eaten. The Cole slaw wss creamy and delicious. The baked beans are definitely homemade, sweet and smoky. A real winner.

First time eating at this location. We thought it was going to be a hole-in-the-wall, but it was a nice area of booths, tables and a bar. My significant other had the $9.00 appetizer Chislic. I ordered two Jumbo tenders and fries basket for $7.50. We both added on the salad bar for $2.99..... The Chislic was tender and beefy. My tenders were huge and had a light crispy coating both tenders. We especially loved the very fresh and crunchy vegetables in the salad bar. The most amazing experience from our visit was how attentive and caring the waitresses were. We both are originally from small towns of 200 & 800....and immediately we felt the warmth from the entire staff. Next time we will be trying the $12.99 Buffet.

I defeated the "Yard Bird" Challenge at The Keg Chicken in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in a time of 21:52. Contestants have 45 minutes to finish the 5 pound food challenge. If you win, you receive the $40 meal for free, a tshirt, a bucket, a photo with the championship belt, and also will be featured on the wall of fame. I was the 1st winner of this food challenge. The staff was super excited about me attempting the challenge. The challenge consists of: - 16 pieces of bone-in chicken or 16 pieces chicken tenders -Two sides are required (1 pint each), choose between potato salad, cole slaw, or beans -1 pound of French Fries The two sides were phenomenal. The house made beans were some of the best I've ever had. The potato salad was excellent. I'd like the visit again to try the other various dipping sauces and the bone-in chicken.

My husband and I were traveling from Wisconsin to California. The transmission in our car blew and we're were stranded for 6 days. We wondered into the MOST FRIENDLY place EVER! The service was impeccable! We came back every day! Becky & Cassie & the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. The soup was AMAZING! The salad bar was fresh & well maintained. The chicken was off the charts! The drinks were cold & refreshing. Also a great place to catch a game on the 3 TV's over the bar. We will stop here every time we pass through. Thank you for making our unplanned stop less painful. We will wear our new shirts with pride!

Our favorite chicken. Dining in or takeout, it's our go-to! We have literally never been disappointed. We enjoyed the buffet also.

I had a great burger and fries and the chicken sandwich my husband got was delicious. The service was very friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Sioux Falls!

Life simply kept getting busy, but eventually we made our way over to The Attic West on a Friday evening. Apparently, everyone else in Sioux Falls had the same idea. The place was absolutely packed and the wait was quite long. At one point, we honestly considered giving up and going elsewhere, but since this had been a gift and we'd heard many locals speak highly of the restaurant, we decided to stick it out. One thing we've definitely learned while living in the Midwest is that bar-and-grill style restaurants are deeply woven into the dining culture here. Sioux Falls has many places with this sort of atmosphere, and honestly, we've adapted fairly well to it even though it differs a lot from some of the larger-city dining scenes we were used to previously. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't quite work for us. We ordered steak, jambalaya, and buffalo wings. The steak, despite being ordered medium rare, came out drier than we would have liked and lacked much distinctive flavor. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't memorable either. The jambalaya was probably the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was overwhelmingly salty to the point where it became difficult to really enjoy the dish underneath the seasoning. The buffalo wings were acceptable enough, but again, they also leaned dry. Service was understandably stretched because of how busy the restaurant was, though the staff themselves seemed to be working hard under the pressure. Overall, this simply wasn't quite our cup of tea in terms of either the food or the atmosphere. I can understand why it appeals to many locals looking for a lively Friday night gathering spot, but for us personally, it probably isn't somewhere we'd return to. A 2 out of 5 from us.

We arrived for our reservation and were seated at a table that wouldn't allow a high chair by restaurant rules. We were moved to a much smaller table that couldn't accommodate the 5 of us. The table was also located directly under a very loud speaker and a television. When asked if this table was ok, we stated our concerns that the table was very small and that our family couldn't hear each other due to the speaker. The hostess said it was all they could do. We decided to give it a chance as it was our first time here. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the chicken honey almond penne. Husband says the pulled pork itself was good but the onion rings inside the sandwich were stale making the sandwich feel past expiration. My penne was completely over cooked to the point where the chicken was more of a jerky consistency and the pasta was disintegrating if you tried to use your fork to collect it. Our other guests enjoyed the steak stating it was ok. From the start with our requests for accommodation being ignored to finish with possibly the worst dishes I've ever overpaid for, this experience was one I never would wish on anybody.
