I went here last night with wife & foster kids. Let me just say that I don't have enough nice things to say. The theme of the restaurant has a pirate/Caribbean feel to it. The service was really amazing and they were very attentive. I felt like I was being the needy customer lol but they were freakin awesome. Lastly the food was bomb 9/10. Flavor was really really good. What a disappointment! My son purchased the $25.00 shrimp kicking-spicy-spicy to go. That shrimp boil was so hot! You couldn't enjoy it. My family is from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am very familiar with spice and love it, but chile... That was too hot!! How can anyone enjoy that kinda spice? Completely & utterly ridiculous! I couldn't eat one shrimp. My son had the worst stomachache that evening & the next morning. I tried to save it, by adding lemon a bunch of lemon !!! It was impossible to calm the heat. My husband and I visited this restaurant with really high expectations, we waited about 45 minutes to be seated which was okay. We placed our order with an over 1 hour to get served even the waitress was wondering what was taking so long, she mentioned talking to her manager. My husband could see the manager reaction he started laughing and sent her back with "wait is long, sorry". Managers name Terry. Even the guests surrounding us notice and started making comments. Got some cajun seafood but forgot to take a picture of the crawfishes because I was excited to chow them down...so I only got pictures of the grilled shrimp tacos and cajun fries! Grilled shrimp tacos were flavorful but can get messy because they only used one tortilla so it ripped right when you picked it up lol. Cajun fries are always a hit! Went for the table combo listed in the menu, which was a 5 gallon plastic bag filled with sauced up and steamed or boiled crab legs, mussels, shrimps, half corn cobs, whole potatoes & quarters of maybe Andouille sausage. They have vinyl clear gloves and a plastic bib to give you so you can be messy without the awkward feeling factor of drippy wet red hands. Jan 2023 price was approx $100 plus drink price, tax & tip. I gave 12% in pre-tax tip because it's not plated service, and they do not take away the mounting pile of shells, napkins, tails/ heads. So i had a pile on my table... and after eating, I picked up the stuff and put it back into the bag along with my gloves and bib. Tasty combo bag for sure. I chose the kicking crab style sauce. Next time, it'll be 3 people to one combo bag, not two people. 3 can finish the food. I will ask for 3 pairs of tools for breaking apart the crab legs so everybody can have their own to use. Upon entrance, the host pointed at a sign showing what was unavailable. Lobster and Clams were unavailable that day. read more

Food was okay but many of the menu items were not available when they brought out the big bag of crabs and shrimp they did not offer plates utensils crackers or shell splitters we had to ask for everything they don't sell coffee we waited 20 minutes for a cup of hot tea and they don't have sugar for the tea not sure I can recommend or go back to this place wait staff need more training read more

On 07/14/2024, I visited this location and placed an online order. The estimated ready time was 9:20 pm, so I arrived at that time. However, I anticipated a delay, so I didn't mind waiting. When I inquired about my order at the counter, the employee couldn't locate it. I then noticed another employee placing two large bags, one of which could have been mine, and the employee who initially couldn't find my order verified the bag receipt and walked away. I also observed two other groups waiting for their takeout orders. New orders were being prepared and called out every 10 minutes for the other groups. After they left, the two bags were still there. When I asked the counter again about the bags, it turned out they were mine. However, my food had been sitting for 30 minutes, and it was kept under the air conditioning, so by the time I received it, it was lukewarm or cold. The next morning, I experienced mild food poisoning, possibly due to my food being left sitting under the AC for 30 minutes. The restaurant seemed understaffed, despite three groups of people waiting for their orders, and with four employees at the counter for kitchen and drinks, none of them seemed busy. To make matters worse, the food quality was mediocre at best, and the employees' attitudes were disappointing. I don't plan to return to this location due to the poor service and subpar food quality. read more

Service here is so BAD. My sister had called about placing an order and buying additional sauce for the seafood. The worker (STEVIE) had told her that he couldn't just give extra sauce that she would have to buy an appetizer or a pound of seafood (which we did) to get extra sauce on the side. Once i picked up the food (waited 5 min in the front before someone even acknowledged me) and told me that pick up was at the counter like I was supposed to know. Once at the counter, they gave my food without the extra sauce. I had asked about it and they said extra sauce would be extra & we should've ordered it along with our food. Which I don't mind paying extra, but it was the fact that STEVIE had told us something completely different. And them all chiming in (sauce is always extra) like okay, would've been nice to know when we had asked on the phone!!! There was no instruction that card and ID was needed, and I ordered and sent someone to pick it up without the card and ID. NO INSTRUCTION. Second, service was rude upon pick up. We asked if there was any way to get spicy and medium kickin sauce on the side, and their only response was "You have to put it into the instructions." THATS HOW YOU SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS? Third, FLAVORLESS. I have been the Kickin Crab in Orange County who do A MUCH BETTER JOB than this location. No flavor in the sauce. THEY ALSO BARELY LEAVE ANY OF THE KICKIN SAUCE INSIDE THE BAG, hence no flavor. Being that this is the best, in my opinion, seafood boil place in the area, flavor wise, it's disappointing to want to enjoy a meal but then the customer service makes it all not even worth it. The place feels like it's ran by teenagers who learned how to service based off social media. Theres one in specific who i've happened to get as a server several times that's just seems to hate his job. He's always so disrespectful with his service he's not attentive and his actions all seem condescending. For example we were the last party to be seated and I understand people want to get home on the weekend but he made it very known that he wanted us out of there. Gave us attitude with any small request we had and mixed all our orders up. (We asked for mild on two bags and they gave us hot so my food wasn't even enjoyable). When we asked it to be sent back to the kitchen because the error all they did was add another ladle of butter to the bag. Which again i understand the urgency of wanting to be home but it could've been communicated that that was how it would be "more mild" or re-sauce the bag entirely cause it wasn't our fault they did it wrong to begin with. Considering how expensive this place is compared to the other spots in the area I'd expect more. We have talk to diferent servers and they said they will check the cameras to make sure we sign in at 7:25pm.... long story Short we are 3 parties waiting with the same problem. Shrimp is so good! Very flavorful. They only sell by the pound so you can't order half a pound. Prices are reasonable and they have other sides and dishes on their menu. The location is decent, nothing fancy but it's large with lots of tables. The service can be a bit slow when they are very busy, last time it took about 30 minutes just to take our order when we got sat down. Definitely worth a shot to try out if you like Cajun food! read more
