They cut through everything so easily and make getting into the crab much simpler. The main reason I wanted to leave this review is because we noticed a big improvement compared to some of our previous visits. We were seated right away (it was a weekday), and our food came out quickly. The overall experience felt smoother and more enjoyable. I did feel like my boil had a little less shrimp than usual, but it was still delicious and definitely didn't take away from the meal. We'll absolutely be back, and after reading all these reviews, we're excited to try the sushi next time!

The texture honestly gave me a little bit of goosebumps while eating it . I really wish they had removed it completely. Other than that, the lengua itself was delicious. Great flavor, generous portions, and a very satisfying lunch for the price.

Came here a few years when they first opened everything was great . But my visit yesterday was terrible service from start to finish. Received food with no bibs, gloves and utensils, had to go ask for them. We brought a birthday cake, and server originally said they would clear out table to do cake, we waited for about 15min , he never came back of course after we paid the $200 tab! So I ended up rolling up the food myself and making enough room to cut my cake and server everyone . Which was sure to be a $25 tip turned into $8, simply because I work in the hospitality business, but they should t have gotten anything. I also believe we were racially profiled , because of how many times we were walked past and had to get up to ask for what we needed , the long idle wait times! You shouldn't teach your servers, to never judge a book by its cover , you shouldn't be a server if you don't understand equal service regardless of the tip, pick a new job. Me and a group of friends went to The Kickin' Crab once again on a Sunday night and it was pretty packed! We waited about 40 minutes for a party of four so just a heads up for this who want to eat in the evening. I believe Friday nights aren't as packed so keep an eye out for that day! We ordered the first combo with the Kickin' Style Sauce and I must say it was delicious. Usually they are consistent with their sauces but it can lean from too buttery or too salty on days. It was just right that day and one thing about the Riverside location is that the seafood is always really fresh/firm. I've been coming to this exact location since the very first day they opened. I don't mind driving from a different city just to eat their food and sauce. Their kickin style sauce is one of a kind and I don't think there's anywhere else like it. I've never ate inside the restaurant because I like to eat messy in private lol. My first time here tonight and it was so good! I had a bag of shrimp mild with Cajun seasonings added a boil egg yumm, fried calamari, bowl of white rice, wings/fries and spicy edamame. All of this was amazingly good! The service was Awesome!!! Great job guys! They check on you often if everything is good and need anything. The place is spacious clean and very cool inside. I went into the restaurant yesterday with a couple of buddies for dinner. We were greeted and sat down right away. Amy was our server and was super friendly. She took our drink order while we contemplated on what to eat. I ended up getting the snow crab and fries. The snow crab was very delicious. I took my family to Kickin Crab on Saturday for my 10 year old bday. This ought to be one of worst restaurant experience I had in awhile. This place don't offer a kid friendly menu. They menu options is limited. They didn't have all the items on the menu. They served us crappy appetizers on to-go paper bowls. I don't recommend this place to anybody. Food was terrible, the shrimp was very non-flavorful, has no type of taste, the food was cold within 5 minutes of it being served to me and my family. The sausages were very hard to chew on, it felt like I was chewing rubber. The king crab legs were very disgusting as well. The water they gave was also nasty, tastes like toilet water. Coming to Kickin Crab is always such a great experience. I've never experienced long waits to get seated or for the food. The ambiance of the place as well as the waiters' attitude adds so much as well. The food is really good as well. One of my favorite things there is the chili cheese fries -- they seriously remind me of the kind you'd get back in the hood... flavorful, satisfying, and just plain good. Since I work right down the street, I also appreciate that they make healthier breakfast options too. They'll grill up a chicken breast with eggs exactly how I like it, which keeps me coming back. Great food, great service, and consistent quality make this a solid spot to eat. I highly recommend it!

Everything we ordered was outstanding--absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be recommending this place. Even though at the beginning the place looked sketchy now I knows It's a hidden gem!
