Went to this location last night July 8, 2021. A woman came in to check in and waited over an hour with her kids. At 7:40pm, she came in upset and asked why they didn't call her to sit. She waited for the manager who NEVER came and he continued to do other things. So, I offered our table and talked to the manager. He had the nerve to say that after 7:30, no one is guaranteed a seat. So I looked around at 7:41. There were MANY people still eating and no one waiting so I said that she and her kids could at in my table since I'm leaving. He refused. Then the lady got upset with him and the other employees tried to take sides with the manager while the manager laughed at the customer. VERY unprofessional. He refused to seat the customer for no legitimate reason. It was not 8pm, closing time. Maybe the employees own negative perceptions about African-Americans came into play? A the Manager was not flexible, lacked good customer service and communication skills, in addition to the food came in small portions and wasn't worth the money. Do not go there. read more

We decided to go to kickin Crab for dinner it was 8:10 we knew it was close to 830 so we called to ask if we can place our order over the phone but dine in they said no problem come in they close at 9. Great boiled shrimp. Long line so I got it to go. I think it would have been better eaten fresh rather than 30 minutes later. The spice was a little heavy so I simply slit the bag and poured it out. I will probably avoid this restaurant all summer long due to the fact that it's really hot and humid which makes it uncomfortable to actually enjoy the good food in front of you. Make sure you double check your take out order before you leave the restaurant. I placed an order for pick up on Saturday and drove 25 minutes for 1lb of headless shrimp and the bag was all liquid with the exception of 8 shrimp. I weighed the bag and it was 1lb with the liquid. Husband and went last week with our toddler because we were craving some shrimp. I had checked the menu on yelp to see if they still had chicken tenders on the menu as my son would not be eating the shrimp. The most recent menu showed fish tenders but didn't have chicken tenders, so we stopped and picked up my son a happy meal on the way there. We walked in and we're seated right away but as soon as they saw us with a happy meal they said that they didn't allow outside food. We explained that my husband and I would be dining in and we just had food for my son as we didn't see any child friendly options on their menu, the waiter proceeded to tell us that they did have chicken tenders and I explained that they were not listed on their menu on yelp so we brought him his own meal. They still refused to serve us as long as we had the happy meal so we proceeded to grab our things and leave. My husband and I would've spent a minimum of $80 on dinner that night so I don't understand why they made such a big deal over a happy meal for my son. We just went to this restaurant for the first time, my boyfriend and I and we both loved the food. The restaurant was clean, it was nice and cool, and the servers were amazing and attentive throughout our meal. The drinks were refilled, the food was delicious, the only reason we don't give a five is because of the price. The prices are a bit on the high side but the food is delicious. Super expensive, tasteless food and a tacky fast food-like environment where they crammed too many tables in making it hard to get through the room. And most of the food you are expected to eat with your hands. This chain is new to our area. Tried it for the first and last time today. Had overdone tasteless trout with dry rice and equally dry broccoli served on a cheap cafeteria like plastic plate. Diet Coke to drink in a paper cup. My husband had a bowl of noodles and seafood served in a small plastic takeout style bowl and an iced tea. (These entrees were some of the few items you didn't have to eat with your hands.) Our utensils were seriously cheap plasticware that were child size. Neither one of us finished our food. It just didn't taste good. And the bill before tip was $39.11!!!! By far the worst Kicking crab ever they don't even deserve 1 star. They need to clean house and rehire. Don't bother emailing the company about a complaint like they ask you to. I emailed them 6/2/21 I still haven't received a response. The managers and employees have the worst customer service. One specific manager is sassy and hangs up on customers when he doesn't want to hear a customers complaint. They make so many mistakes on orders and do not take responsibility as a matter of fact they get upset at you for saying something. If you complain and they tell you they are going to remake your food MAKE SURE YOU CHECK before you leave they will reheat your food and reserve it to you it's disgusting. My family and friends stopped going to this location we Highly recommend "Shrimp Factory" it's like 3 min away from this garbage location. The food is so much better and the prices are great.
