We found one maid at the company called Wendy and we liked her work so much we allowed her to come on Saturdays. My day off! But she was worth it to us. (we prefer during the week.) So the last 2 Saturdays they have cancelled on us - Friday night for a 10 am Saturday cleaning,,,because of a car accident she was in? And today they cancelled at 9:30 for 11 am appt. We changed our travel plans two weekends for her!! And no replacement maid offered! We can't use them anymore. It's been over a month since anyone came and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE to make a repeat customer paying $260 or more to be treated with no regard to our schedules!!! Don't believe them. I have used several companies to try and find one that can take care of my house the way my former cleaning lady did. I got confused with the last two companies I hired and lashed out to The Honest Maid on the issue they had nothing to do with. I would recant what I said in my post. The complaint was correct, except 90% of what I said must be addressed to a company called YB Cleaning and the person I dealt with there was Jessie. Only 10% of the complaint was toward The Honest Maid, which I should've discussed the issue with the management directly. I was too upset to argue, but it really bugged me. I was believing they were the only company that did all the poor house cleaning at my house. So I posted. The 10% I mentioned was true about a cleaning lady who came to supposedly clean my house, named Jaqueline, who wished to be called Jackie. I learned from Boden that she did work for the Honest Maid but is no longer employed there. It is not the company's fault when an employee they pay to work on their behalf provides an awful job of cleaning. It's the individual's responsibility whether to work with pride or too uncaring and lazy that ends up destroying the company's reputation they work for by their own poor performance and neglect. I am thankful that Boden, on behalf of Diana, made the effort to contact me and discuss the issue. He understood my confusion and apologized for their former employee's work ethic. He spoke with me with utmost respect. Furthermore, Boden promised to refund me the fee, and I am greatly appreciative of that as well. I also promised Boden that I will call them when I return home to re-start our relationship by using their future services. My apologies for the 90% wrong complaint.

I find it frustrating when a business invites customers to call but then doesn't answer or return messages. Communication is one of the most basic aspects of customer service and unfortunately my experience ended before I could even book the service. I cannot comment on the quality of their cleaning, but based on my experience, responsiveness and customer communication were disappointing. ***** UPDATE ***** After leaving my initial review regarding lack of response to calls and messages, the service provider did reach out to me directly. During that phone call, the conversation became confrontational. I was told that my review could be reported to the police, which felt like an inappropriate and intimidating response to customer feedback. During the call, I began recording for my own reference, and the call was then disconnected. There were multiple follow-up calls from the same number, and each time the conversation ended shortly after I attempted to record the interaction. I eventually chose to block the number due to the repeated and uncomfortable nature of the contact. Based on this experience, I found the communication to be unprofessional and stressful. Instead of addressing concerns calmly, the interaction escalated in a way that made me uncomfortable. As a result, I will not be using this service and would advise others to carefully consider communication reliability before booking.

Turnaround for booking was a day, but there was apparent miscommunication. I originally asked for a move in deep cleaning. The cleaners that arrived were told management only told them to plan 2 hours for a 'general' cleaning and told me at the time of the appointment that 2 hours wouldn't be enough to fully clean a 2bd/2bath 1100 sq ft condo. I wish this was communicated beforehand. So what did they get done in 2 hours? They took 40 minutes to clean a patio door and base of the doors. They were able to clean the entire the kitchen in the next hour. I liked that they cleaned the oven vent filters. Then spent the last 15 minutes cleaning window sills, which I ended up asking to be redone because they were in fact not cleaned when they verbally told me they had when I checked in with them. It probably would've been an additional 2 hours to get the rest of the home, which included 2 full bathrooms, and 3 closets. Ended up having to pick priorities at the time of the appointment, which again, was unexpected. Other notes: The cleaners had masks, but did not keep them on the entire duration (pulled down on chin everytime I walked in, not covering nose). Based on this alone, I would not recommend We Clean LA.
