The Kolache are fresh baked and healthy for you. They are not fried. We purchased an assorted dozen of both the savory and fruit kolache's. The sausage, egg and cheese savory kolache are a baked sandwich ,if you will, surrounded in fresh baked bread they were very good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was bright and inviting. There was limited inside seating and a drive through. We tried the cherry, apple, chocolate Bavarian cream, pecan crunch and coconut custard kolache and they were all very good.

A chance find while we were driving to Starbucks. Had never heard of Kolaches before, but when you enter the store there is a sweet pastry fragrance that greets you. We tried the combo pack with three savory and three sweet Kolaches. Was plenty of food for our family of five. The Kolaches were soft with generous fillings of eggs and meat. The sweet Kolaches had fresh fruit fillings that weren't overly sweet. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend, especially if you need a fast quality option. They do make all the items fresh and do occasionally sell of their more popular selections (bacon, egg and cheese; maple pecan).

If you've never had a kolache before, The Kolache Cafe is a pretty delicious introduction to a pastry with a surprisingly rich history. Kolaches originated in Central Europe and were brought to Texas by Czech immigrants in the late 1800s, eventually becoming a staple of Texas breakfast culture. Traditionally they were sweet pastries filled with fruit or cheese, but Texas gave rise to the savory versions many of us know today -- sausage, egg, cheese, jalapeño, brisket and beyond. Walking in around 10:30, there was plenty of parking, no chaos, and the café itself was spotless. The kind of clean where you immediately feel comfortable ordering "just one thing" and somehow leave with a box full of kolaches. The customer service deserves its own moment. Everyone was upbeat, patient, and genuinely happy to explain the menu without making you feel rushed. They somehow manage to make first-time customers feel like regulars and regulars feel like family. In a world where some breakfast spots act personally offended you showed up hungry, this place was refreshingly welcoming. If you usually lean sweet, do yourself a favor and try the savory items too. The soft slightly sweet dough paired with savory fillings just works. It's comfort food, road-trip food, and "I'll grab one for later" food all rolled into one. Arizona may not be Texas, but this place absolutely understands the assignment.

The server taking my order with the studio ghibli nails was so sweet! Thanks for your patience and recommendations as I was picking out my order! The vanilla cold brew and kolache are yummy!

I'd driven by the place a few times. I decided to give it a try today. Super delicious! I had the smoked chicken and cheese Kolache and a smoked sausage and cheese Kolache. Fresh! Delicious, and pretty inexpensive. $6 & change for lunch works for me! Next time I'll try the dessert options! Which looked nom...nom...nom... Friendly staff, super clean place.

I recently had the most delightful experience at a bakery reminiscent of a charming Czechoslovakian café. Their offerings are a delightful mix of sweet and savory pastries, and I opted for a savory option that completely exceeded my expectations. It was described as a southwestern-style pastry, and the description did not disappoint. The combination of jalapeño, potato, cheese, and ham created a surprisingly complex and flavorful profile. I was initially concerned that it might be dry, but the pastry was incredibly moist and rich. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the subtle heat of the jalapeño complementing the savory ham and creamy cheese. The potato provided a grounding element that made the entire pastry cohesive and truly memorable. Beyond the exceptional food, the bakery itself is quite charming. It's a very clean and inviting space, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your baked goods. I highly recommend visiting this unique establishment if you are ever in the area. I'm already planning my next visit!. if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, this is the place can't get any faster than this

The perfect snack and the perfect food to keep in your fridge for fast and effective cravings. Every flavor is great in their own way .. I really don't have a favorite because they're all good.

The service people were trying to take orders, attending tables, helping customers to pick out pastries, all at the same time. Then they were bringing out food running around, trying to find the right table, and after failing to do so, would bring food back to the kitchen. It was 3 of them, running around, getting all confused. And it was only 1 person in the kitchen??? I've never seen anything like that before. The place gave me anxiety. And it wasn't even busy that day. It was Tuesday morning for crying out loud. I hate to think what's happening there over weekends! My order got completely screwed up. I got charged for two sponge cakes, instead of one. The baguette that they brought to the table 30 min later, was tiny, look like half baguette, when I ordered full baguette so we could split it with my mother. I know what full baguette supposed to look like. When I asked the cashier about that, she told me it was a full-size sandwich. Bullshit. They sure charged me for full size though. Full size baguette doesn't take 4 bites to finish! And coffee comes with the sandwich together. Coffee doesn't come first, it's not a drink! But they brought coffee first. Between coffee and a sandwich it took 20 minutes. The prices are very high for what they offer. They charge full price for half size portions. And the bread was dry and stale. Don't tell me it was today's fresh bread. I would never believe it. I feel like they ripped me off, frankly. So high prices, small portions and the service sucks. We are not going back there. There are lots of breakfast places like that all over town. The competition is overwhelming. No problem.

A welcoming little cafe for appetites looking for gluten free options!…read more I was introduced to Crave Protein Cafe through a Yelp boot camp event and recently when I did a search for GF options this one popped up. It was refreshing to see signage that declared products that were GF. Protein smoothies, coffee drinks, salads, wraps, sandwiches, rice bowls, salads and cookies make up the menu. The staff was more than happy to answer questions regarding any menu items. No need to play "Guess Which Menu Item Won't Make Me Regret Lunch." I dined here twice in a week. My first visit I had a seasonal latte, my friend had one and a chocolate GF muffin top. All were very good! On my return visit I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with kale chips. I was thrilled that they could accommodate my request for no onion or garlic products and they offered gluten free bread. Toasted with paper thin green apple slices and plain mayo instead of their herbed mayo my $13.95 lunch was satisfying and tasty! My friend had the roasted chicken sandwich for $11.95 and only ate half because she was full on the meaty chicken breast within the slices of bread. We stayed a while and admired the cute decor which was supplied by the sister business, Olive Branch just two doors down. It was nice to enjoy a friend's company over a good lunch and not feel rushed. I'll be back.

The young woman behind the counter was very helpful. The menu offers sandwiches, shakes, pastries, and more. The tuna melt sounded great to me so I ordered that with gluten free bread as well as a GF pastry. I think it was a muffin top. Both items were delish! I devoured the tuna salad in the cafe before leaving and it helped me with my workout later that afternoon. The pastry was delightful as well. It was light and not too sweet. I came back a couple of weeks later and brought my husband who was looking for a healthy drink after we played golf. We both got shakes.
