This is my mom and dad's favorite breakfast place. They took me with them the other day for breakfast. It's bright yet cozy. There's a large counter that you can eat at or a few tables. They always have a daily breakfast special. I had the chili chilies breakfast skillet. The eggs, were fluffy and the chili sauce was delicious. The staff are all very friendly and they know my parents by name. A huge, thank you for always taking such great care of my mom and dad!

Small little breakfast joint! We enjoyed our food on the patio. Friendly staff, good food. Recommended to try out!

Been here twice already and have a good experience each time. The food is always good and the staff is always fast and friendly. We came when it was slow and another time after church when it was busy. The place is a bit small but haven't had any disappointments. We will keep coming back here for our breakfast needs.

On a rainy Friday morning, I stopped in for a quick breakfast solo as I had some time to wait for the pharmacy to open. I've tried a different location before, and found it to be a decent breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. I was seated right away, though this location is smaller than the other one from what I recall. The service at this location was better, and never had to ask for a refill of coffee. Heck, they even offered me one to go! The veggie cheese skillet was delicious and definitely think something I would order again. The Bloody Mary was decent, but I've had better though for the price point it hits the spot. Overall, the food and beverages were great. It just can be pretty loud since it's a smaller location which would deter me from visiting during high traffic times.

Random stop for takeout lunch. Place is quite small, but has a bigger kitchen than dining room. Good size bar too. Not sure why the takeout container was so greasy, but the food was pretty good. It was a chicken cheesesteak with onions and peppers with some slightly above average onion rings. Chicken was fine, just nothing over the top.

Hidden Gem! We love this spot we have ordered pick up a few times but recently went in, service was great. The weather was super nice out and enjoyed some patio seating. I ordered the banana pecan pancakes super delicious and they were not skimpy on the pecans. My husband ordered the breakfast burger this has been his go to, they also have a delicious fry sauce that comes with it. In previous orders I have enjoyed their biscuits and gravy. Excited to come back and try some more menu items.

This is the secret spot. Wish I wouldn't have told you. I have been here 4 times and every time excellent food and service! Never a wait like the other brunch place around the corner!! The other place 45 minute wait for a mom pop restaurant!! No thanks! This is a small owned business but they manage time and seating perfect. I've never had a Waldorf salad before but OMG this salad was amazing! You can tell everything was cut fresh as it was ordered!! I wasn't hungry hungry and planned on taking leftovers home but ate the whole salad! My son loved the breakfast salad! For sure be back!!

This was our second time here! The first time was fine. Decent food and decent service. This time was 100% different & we will not be coming back. This was the first time I have ever dined out and left without tipping. I am breast feeding my new baby with a dairy intolerance, so when I ordered I asked for no butter to be used to cook my eggs or on top of my toast. The server was not aware if they used butter with the eggs, but I explained I had a dairy allergy. The eggs definitely had milk scrambled with them. Our server did not return after taking our order. I wanted jam for my toast since I can't use butter, so I finally got some one else's attention and asked for it. She never brought it. We finally flagged someone else down to get our check. The place is unorganized and the staff is either untrained or simply doesn't care because there was plenty of staff to tables. Over all I paid over $10 for eggs I couldn't eat, dry toast, and flavorless bacon (how does that even happen). Skip this place and go to one of the other brunch spots in the area.

The one thing I appreciate the most with this breakfast eatery is their pricing isn't over the top like a lot of the renowned breakfast joints in Phoenix. Menu is adequate and prices are very reasonable. Front staff was very nice and welcoming. Not sure how this place has been open but there seemed to be a few issues from surrounding tables not happy with their food. One referenced a very long hair, and another said the food had too much salt. I had the same feedback on the latter. We ordered chicken fried steak (really salty breading), chicken chimoya soup, chicken fajita soup (both salty) and chilaquiles okay but more like nachos. Prefer it more wet. There were five soups on the menu and only two were available. I'm sure they have a few things to work out and have faith they will. I'll give it another try if in the area in the future. Taste the food it will make a world of difference.

Now that they have a Mesa location, it is a little more convenient for me, as I currently live in Chandler. Even with the different locations, the high-quality product remains intact. I like the location of Mesa Novel Ice Cream because not only is there a lot to do nearby, but it is also a nice area to walk around when it is not too hot outside. There is also a nice coffee shop just a little walk away from the shop. The service at both locations is friendly, and every worker has been fun to talk to, especially when it is not busy and they have some time to spare. They are also happy to offer suggestions, whether it is ice cream flavors or delicious combinations that would pair well with their Dough Melt. While the vast majority of ice cream flavors complement the Dough Melt, the sorbets are hit and miss with the Dough Melt, but by themselves, their sorbets are some of the most refreshing sorbets you can have. I recommend Novel Ice Cream to anyone in the Mesa area; it has the best ice cream in Arizona, in my opinion. I also encourage everyone to try their Dough Melt at least once, as it is unbelievable.

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. AZ Chimney Cakes specializes in Kürtöskalács, a.k.a chimney cakes, an incredible dessert that originated in Hungary. I have Romanian roots and Kürtöskalács are quite popular in Romania. Located in the same shopping center as a movie theater, a Japanese restaurant, and a bunch of other businesses, I parked without any issues in the free back lot and walked over. Ambiance (4/5): A cozy dessert shop. I felt right at home when I saw a map of Bucharest by the entrance. You order at the counter and then they bring your order out to you.
