I have had Crave Protein Cafe on my list of places to try for a while, but just recently made a visit! I was hungry for a light meal to fuel me for an afternoon workout. I did a quick search on Yelp and realized I was less than a mile away from this cafe. The space has a cozy and welcoming feel. There's tons of seating. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful. The menu offers sandwiches, shakes, pastries, and more. The tuna melt sounded great to me so I ordered that with gluten free bread as well as a GF pastry. I think it was a muffin top. Both items were delish! I devoured the tuna salad in the cafe before leaving and it helped me with my workout later that afternoon. The pastry was delightful as well. It was light and not too sweet. I came back a couple of weeks later and brought my husband who was looking for a healthy drink after we played golf. We both got shakes. My husband got the green goddess and I was looking for something refreshing so I got the Caribbean crush which has coconut milk, pineapple, vanilla protein, mango, strawberries, and OJ. I came across Crave Protein Café yesterday and was so excited to find a place with healthier food choices. I really wish I had known about it sooner! The café has a very nice, clean boho vibe inside, and there are plenty of menu options to choose from, including chicken, steak, tofu, and other proteins. They also offer fresh drinks, bowls, salads, sandwiches, and--holy guacamole--the cowboy cookie is to die for! I got my order to go because I wanted to save it for dinner later, and it was delicious. It wasn't exactly what I ordered, though. I had asked for a Mediterranean bowl with quinoa and broccoli, but later that night I realized there was no quinoa. I was welcomed in as I entered. The staff were friendly and inviting. They offer a large variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, bowls, coffees and protein shakes. My roasted chicken sandwich had generous portions of tender chicken with fresh toppings. My kale chips have to be the healthiest chips I ever had. They have a Smokey and salty flavor. This place is a "Godsend". Budget friendly, healthy, from breakfast, to lunch, coffee , tea and protein shakes, I mean it checks all the boxes! This place was so different than I expected. It was a very clean and casual little order at the counter kinda place where the food is bought to you. For two sandwiches, a coffee, a smoothie and a kids breakfast, we only paid $45 and almost met our protein and fiber goals at 10 am! Excellent on the go food! You know when you need to grab something quick but you want healthy and fresh- this is the place! They do have some tables and chairs too, but I work close by so I stop and pick up in morning on way to work. We also just used them for an event we hosted and everyone raved about the freshness and taste of everything. We served wraps and salads. This place was on my list for sometime and made use of Grubhub to order lunch. We went with spicy chicken bowl. The food arrived neatly packed and we were very excited to try it. When we opened the box it was such a let down. It was basically chicken, spinach and white rice. It looked bland and displeasing. One bite and we realized the rice was uncooked not undercooked but literally could see barely cooked rice. We were so disappointed. We see a potential for changes hence dropping 2 stars but otherwise with our experience would have avoided this place. read more

The rice bowl was really good, was just perfectly filling enough, and I was shocked with the shake, it was a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. I didn't think it was $11 worthy, given the size, but it was still really good! I'd definitely come back and try other shakes and other foods. Stopped by Crave Protein Cafe with my wife and kids today and had a great experience. I ordered the Rice Bowl with Steak and it was easily one of the best healthy meals I've had in a long time. The steak was tender, flavorful, and the whole bowl tasted fresh. I especially liked the combination of the steak, vegetables, eggs, and sauce. It was filling without making me feel weighed down afterward. My wife got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and loved it. She kept saying how fresh it tasted and how good the toasted bread was. We brought our kids with us too. Ember had the grilled cheese and Emmett had the quesadilla, and both cleaned their plates. As a parent, that's always a win. One thing I really appreciated was how family-friendly the cafe felt. They even have a cute little table for kids, which my children immediately gravitated toward. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in and took the time to make us feel welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the food they serve. We don't leave reviews very often, but this place earned one. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Ok this is my favorite place ever, my new spot for quick breakfast/lunch! I always get the Tsao bowl, it's my favorite. Everyone who works here is so sweet, and the food being good is just a plus. I usually get to-go and grab it really quick before class, generally takes 10ish minutes for it to be ready. I've only eaten inside once, but it's such a cute place. What a cute new healthy spot. This place is located by hobby lobby and gnc. The decor is very cozy and gives a farm kitchen feel. They serve breakfast from 7am-11am and have shakes and sandwiches. I love that you can ask for the macros for each shake and they are all listed in my fitness pal. They ladies really thought of it all. I got the chicken salad sandwhich and love the whole slices of apple, very yummy. They also have vegan and gluten free cookies I want to come back and try. Never tried this place before, but needed something quick and fast food was the other alternative. Pleasantly surprised at the level of friendly customer service. I'm bummed I didn't get her name, but she was a teeny little blonde with a bubbly personality. She gave suggestions and was patient while I deciphered what I wanted. I ended up going with a collagen coffee and a steak bowl. While the coffee was good, I could definitely taste the collagen, so I may try a different add in next time. The steak bowl kind of reminded me of a bibimbap bowl with out the egg and it did take a bit, but the flavors were really tasty. The only thing is that the steak was a little overcooked and kind of had a pot roast texture. I was expecting steak strips, so was a little disappointed, but not anything to complain about. If anything, I'm going back because of the great customer service with the friendly employees. A place could have horrible food (not the case here), but if the employees are nice, I'll go back and order regularly just to support them. read more

I got the Thai chicken wrap and the lettuce looked and felt old (so I had to pick it out because lettuce is known for food poisoning) and there were parts of the chicken that were hard and dry. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! They walked us through all the options and toppings for our food (Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Steak Breakfast Burrito) which were both super yummy and freshly made!
