Oh man, oh man. This is not going to be the best review I've ever written, because I am genuinely upset. Since becoming vegetarian, I have still eaten at The Cheesecake Factory because I believed there were menu items I could safely enjoy. One of my absolute favorites has been the Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes. Unfortunately, I recently found out that the salsa verde served with it contains chicken stock. The green salsa is not vegetarian. The bigger issue is that apparently no one working there seemed to know this. We explicitly tell our servers that we are vegetarian, and yet the staff was not equipped to accurately answer basic ingredient questions. A manager had to check the ingredients and then admitted that he had learned something new himself. That is honestly unacceptable. I have eaten this dish multiple times under the assumption that it was vegetarian-friendly. Finding out after the fact that I had been eating chicken stock in the salsa is incredibly frustrating and upsetting. Dietary restrictions are not something restaurants should casually guess about, especially a chain as large and established as The Cheesecake Factory. This review is not about expecting every single item to be vegetarian. It is about staff training, menu knowledge, and transparency. If an item contains animal stock, servers and managers should know that, or there should be clear allergen/dietary information available so guests can make informed choices. You get one star for being disconnected from your own menu and for poorly training your staff on dietary restrictions. When guests clearly state that they are vegetarian, the restaurant should be able to handle that with accuracy, not guesswork. read more

Came here for my birthday dinner and left pretty disappointed. The food was good, but the service completely put a damper on the experience. Our server, Noe, was polite, but the overall experience could definitely use improvement. We ordered a flatbread pizza with hot honey on the side since my boyfriend doesn't like it. When the pizza came out, it already had the hot honey on it. He acknowledged that he forgot to put it on the side but didn't immediately offer to correct it. Instead, he asked if we wanted to keep it or have it remade. We chose to have it remade, but he suggested my boyfriend try it first and said he'd replace it if he didn't like it. After my boyfriend confirmed he didn't like it, the situation became awkward. The server attempted to take back the pizza we had already eaten from, and then had to check with a manager about removing the incorrect item from the bill--even though he had already acknowledged it was his mistake. Later, we used a gift card to pay for part of the meal. He told us we needed to go online to get a code because he couldn't enter the card manually, even though the card clearly states to "run as credit" with all the necessary details printed on it. After spending about 10 minutes trying to figure it out ourselves, I pointed this out. He then went to his manager, who returned shortly after and processed it without any issue. Unfortunately, no apology was given for the confusion or the time lost. Additionally, we felt rushed during multiple interactions, often having to stop him mid-step just to finish asking for what we needed. Went to Cheesecake Factory on a very busy Friday night, and as expected, the wait for a table was pretty long. Instead of waiting, we headed straight to the bar area and were able to grab a high-top table immediately--which ended up being a great decision. The service there was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed, even with how busy it was. As for the food, it definitely lived up to expectations. I ordered the honey truffle chicken, which is my go-to favorite, and it was just as delicious as always--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the fresh cucumber martini, though it was a little sweet for my liking. Overall, a great experience despite the crowd. 2/2 First visit to this location at Superstition Springs Mall. Last visit to TCF was five years ago at the Biltmore, Phx. Parking 4/5 Arrived ~4:30 after work. Menu 5/5 I never write reviews with a menu category but the TCF requires one because the entree options is huge! Restaurants that have large menus typically do well in some offerings but mis the mark on others. Because of the wide range of cuisines listed I can't fit the TCF into a cuisine category. So I'll identify it as a primo Specialty bakery with American interpreted globally inspired dishes. Service 5/5 We were greeted immediately and seated. Within a minute. The restaurant itself wasn't busy yet so we made our visit ahead of the dinner crowd which also told me the parking challenge was largely due to the mall crowd. Our server today was Durant. She was curtious , very helpful including answering my question honestly which is refreshing and prevented me from trying something I would likely be disappointed in. Durant wasn't pushing sales rather making sure our experience was a successful one which exemplifies what servers should do! We will ask for Durant our next visit. The food at The Cheesecake Factory is always delicious. At my server's recommendation I had the crispy pineapple chicken and shrimp. My husband had the vegan cobb salad which is enough for 2-3 meals. The pumpkin pecan cheesecake (seasonal) was a 15 out of 10. The service was nicely paced even with a busy restaurant. Alex while knowledgeable and professional didn't smile much which didn't help with the festive reason for being there. A few other items I've tried and liked are the chicken dish with the mashed potatoes, chicken tortilla soup and half sandwich combo, and the beyond burger and fries. Pro tip: if you like any of their dressings you can buy a mason jar of it from them. I've done this twice now with the ranch dressing! 1 star - We ordered Cheesecake Factory expecting a nice meal out, but what we got was a serious food safety failure that could have had dangerous consequences. My wife is pregnant, so we're extra careful about what she eats--no undercooked meats, nothing risky. She ordered the crispy chicken, and when it arrived, the chicken was clearly undercooked/raw in the middle--pink, translucent, and cold in parts. We didn't notice immediately because of the sauce/coating, but once we cut into it, it was--we were both shaken and lost our appetites. For a pregnant woman, raw or undercooked chicken is a huge risk (Salmonella, Campylobacter, etc.), and the fact that this made at all is alarming. We decided to come here for my dad's 60th birthday dinner. He's a sucker for cheesecake and so my mom signed him up for the free slice of cheesecake on your birthday. We made a reservation for 5pm on a Friday and were seated immediately; it surprisingly wasn't too busy at that time. But boy oh boy, were the people piling in as we were leaving over an hour later. The waitress must've been newer since she was kind of timid and more on the quiet side. She also got my mom's drink wrong; my mom ordered the pineapple mezcal but the drink on the bill was the pineapple Moscow mule... no wonder there was an odd garnishing of candied ginger on what we thought was a "margarita." My brother got the Korean fried chicken. He would give it 4/5 stars; he just said it wasn't anything spectacular. My dad got the Italian sausage and mushroom rigatoni and he thoroughly enjoyed it! He would give it a 4/5 stars simply because he wished the portion was larger. My mom got the crispy pineapple chicken and shrimp. She would give hers a 3/5 stars. she remarked the rice had no seasoning whatsoever; not even a whisper of salt. After tasting it, I agree it tasted like nothing. However, after looking back the menu (on the website), it clearly does say served with white rice with a picture of a pile of the whitest rice ever. However, the rice that was served wasn't even white, let alone 100% rice. I felt like it was more of a soft grain/porridge situation. Hence why it was not good that none of it had any seasoning at all. I got the Factory Turkey Burger and everything came out piping hot. The fries were hot and had the perfect amount of crispiness, but they were extremely salty - astronomical sodium levels in that handful of fries alone. The turkey burger was tasty. The picture online didn't look anything like what came out though, specifically the avocado. Online, the avocado practically covers everything underneath it. However, in my picture you'll see the tiniest slivers of avocado and only in the very center of the burger. The avocado was also hard as a rock so I couldn't mash and spread it around like I wanted to. My dad decided to go with the Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple cheesecake; you can clearly tell they give you smaller slices when it's your birthday freebie since it wasn't as hefty as the regular slices. However, it still tasted nice. I'm not a big cheesecake fan, but he certainly enjoyed it. With how pricey this place is and how not spectacular the food is, how are people piling into this place day after day? Recall that this chain restaurant has an insanely huge menu, so there is something to suit everyone's tastes. Not only that, but the food is great! Love their complementary bread as well. The appetizers are super appealing, sandwiches are deliciously filling, hot crisp fries spot on, big juicy burgers, plus there are choices for various vegetarian dishes too! And let's not forget the delicious dessert-those famous cheesecakes! Service was very professional and atmosphere pleasant. Note- On the weekends the line kinda gets long. Would recommend possibly making reservations during their peek hours. They have Happy Hour (served in the bar area) M-F 4-6 PM. My wifes birthday went to shambles. Before anything only reason for 2 stars was our ending waitress and the manager Robert. We've never had big issues here... but the kitchen staff might have bee a bunch of kindergarteners running around with squeaky Playskool hammers and saws... 16 people running around no communication. The fourth time someone dropped a tray and plates I stood up and clapped like we did in the cafeteria in elementary school. Food was atrocious... time stamps seated 735 from 730 reservation, drinks 745, food ordered 805... food came out 835... burgers were raw, wife chix cold and pasta sauce had congilled to the bottom, and her friends salmon had lost textured turned gray and the asparagus had an Ozempic party, burned nutrionally inept, and sickly. I ordered a sandwich... a SANDWICH which came out 10 minutes AFTER we sent the other meals back. I do appreciate the managers comp of some cheesecake slices. Absolutely disgusting from the "customer service" to the terrible food, this place is a nightmare. When I walked in the hostess pretended she didn't see me for several minutes as I stood directly in front of the booth as she added happy hour menus into the main menu or something like that. She was rude and stand offish. I believe she went and made up some kind of false narrative about me, because after I told her I didn't want to sit in a high traffic area and that I needed to use the restroom, when I returned to my seat it was like I was being monitored by several members of their terrible staff. The bread was hard and borderline stale, the booth itself was filthy, with old food particles splashed on the wall. I ordered an appetizer of the chicken taquitos, which was the only thing I ended up eating because every attempt at ordering an entree resulted in wasted time and a disgusting disappointment. I tried the Branzino it was absolutely disgusting, seemed to be prepared wrong and absolutely no seasoning was added, all of the sides the green beans and the mashed potatoes were both cold and the portion of mashed potatoes was grotesquely huge, it was a shame. Immediately I said something and the terrible waitress was no where to be found, once I finally reordered it amounted another waste of time and Frankenstein meal. So I asked for a manager who removed the nasty entrees and charged me for the nasty appetizer. 3 hours after eating the appetizer I have terrible stomach cramps and have to use the restroom. This place is a JOKE!!! 0/10 would not recommend. The staff seem to be anti black/African American, racially biased and discriminatory.
