a bridge over a river

I can't believe I've never been to this bar! Absolutely lovely views, this bar is located right on the river. It was a perfect summer night, the service was great, cocktails were good. My husband said he felt like we were on a beach trip which is the perfect analogy.

Sweet Soy Wings! Soo good

Such a great spot in the falls with the best view of the river. Outdoor only environment, but bar and upper area are covered. When you come in, you pass by the grill where everything is cooked practically....it's always delicious and perfect place to hang out in the summer. Sweet Soy grilled wings are delicious, salmon salad is refreshing and so much more.

The jetty restaurant has such a beautiful outdoor patio that captures the Cuyahoga river in its background. It is perfect for a date! I ordered the crab cake sandwich with is served with arugula and old bay mayo on brioche. It cost $14 and all sandwiches are served with chips & pickles. We also got a mai tai with our food. The mai tai were alright, i couldn't taste the liquor from it tbh. Smh. My friend ordered the salmon salad, the salmon was juicy and tender! The scenery is legit the best thing about this restaurant. The menu is kinda overpriced but hey, great food, great music, and great scenery. Our server Dave was friendly as well!! Thank you!

The worst. View of river is great, but that's all. Terrible drinks, and food not much better

Went with 2 girls for a birthday lunch. Of course we needed the "special " green beans. Have been…read morethere before and always enjoyed the food, this time I neglected to have the wedge blue cheese salad they each had. Big mistake on my part. It was picture perfect and I am still missing it. Our server was attentive and kind, the food as always delicious. Overall a huge success, Thank you Darby's. I will be back. wish you would change the front steps, I'm handicapped.

Met a friend here. Her suggestion to come here for dinner. This was hard to score. A lot of good…read morebut a few bad. It was crowded on a Tuesday. They have a taco Tuesday thing but it's not a discount it's 3 tacos and you can mix and match from what they make. Which is not really a special in my opinion. The place has a nice patio and inside can fit an about 10 tables of various sizes. And the bar has seating. Cute place. I see it can get crowded on a Friday night or Saturday night. We got the green bean app for the table. They are cooked perfectly with teriyaki glaze and some tempura but not a lot. They have a sauce that has a bit of a kick but not bad. These are good and good to share. Good portion. I ordered the steak and gruyere sandwich and chips. Sandwich was good. Not big but very flavorful and good. Would have liked a bigger banquette for the sandwich. Ok amount of meat. It was good. The chip side was very crunch and good amount. But to me the chips were a bit greasy tasting. Needed more salt and a bit of flavor. It was a ok meal. The friend that suggested the restaurant got the Ohio burger. It was huge. She cut it into 4's and only ate half. It was big! She also got the chips. Again chips were ok just a bit oily tasting and need salt. The dining area is loud. Lots of people in close proximity talking. It's hard to hear and sound is bouncing. That was a bit of a bummer to try and talk over all the noise. Server was good very attentive and helped with suggestions. Bill for 3 sandwiches, including a burger, a water, coke and cider with green beans appetizer was $81. Not including tip.

Love the wood floors and high ceilings. The panels really helped keep noise down when it became full.

The Perfect Pistachio Martini is SO good. And little did I know, we were there for happy hour, and…read moreit was only $7. I usually wouldn't give a place 5 stars if I was just there for a drink, but this pistachio martini was just too good, and I'm still thinking about it days later. And the interior of this place was cool. I want to come back the next time I'm in town. I got the Banana Bread Espresso Martini because I was interested... hadn't heard of it before. But it was just okay. It was kind of watery, and mine had pieces of ice in it. I guess it was just hard to go from the creaminess of the pistachio one to the more bitter banana bread one. All in all, cool place, great happy hour prices, and really delicious, unique pistachio martini! Go here even just for that. See ya next time; thanks for having me!

This place is not…read moreyour traditional bar; it's a cocktail-forward, date night, girls night kind of joint with low lighting and eclectic, timeless adornment. To note: it's a small place and reservations are imperative. They don't allow standing room in order to keep the intimate feel, so plan ahead. I've been able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar, but this place is in high demand and frequently fills up. There's a 2hr time limit on tables to ensure a higher volume of patrons may indulge these unique, craft cocktails and award winning bites.

The Blue Door Cafe & Bakery is an award-winning brunch spot located close to Akron, Ohio that made…read morenational news when it was named the #6 Top Brunch Spot in the USA by Yelp in 2023. It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.
