I got my lashes done somewhere else and I'm not used to getting them done. I'm a little older so I thought it would be silly but I wanted to give it a try. The original set I got somewhere else wasn't what I was looking for. In my search I found Kate. Wow I'm glad I did. She removed my old lashes and gave me the set I originally wanted. She's so professional and took care of my eyes. That was really important to me. Kate did a beautiful job and was great at explaining everything. Where to I begin with this salon, I think this review is long overdue in the short time I have been going to this salon. I started going to them at the end of October and WOW it's been such a underwhelming experience. Let me give you some of the highlights I've experienced while going here. 1. If you set an appointment they ask for an immediate $50 deposit, which goes towards your service. (high service deposit!!) 2. They will call you and threaten to cancel by 4 pm if you do not send your deposit, however in my case I had several calls and texts I did not have a deposit paid when in fact I did. This happened 3 times and they then learned I was duplicated in the system. 3. They will call you at 8:30 am to notify you your appointment is canceled day off because of a "sick employee" and then offer you a lower lash tech to do the service. Yet charge the same price as a senior stylist. 4. They call numerous times after booking, to change your appointment time because they need to "fill gaps in their schedule" or the time and day does not work for them. What prompted this review is I went in two days ago to get a fill with a different lash artist because the one I had requested was unavailable. She did a great job. She was very nice. However, when I left the salon the next morning, I woke up with a very irritated eye it was it was swollen and inflamed. I contacted the salon, and they asked if I would like to come in to have it looked at and get them removed. I agreed and scheduled a consultation with a lash artist today 12/13 at 6:30. I received a call from Yoko at 1 PM today asking if I can come any earlier because they have zero appointments on calendar today and they need to fill gaps when I told them I was unable to. They said will see you when you show up. again unprofessional.. I came for my appointment early 615, upon walking up to the building. All of the lights were off and nobody was sitting at the front desk so it immediately turned me off as if they had closed early because they had just told me they had no appointments on calendar for today at 1 pm. I met with Lydia a senior lash artist and she informed me that she can remove the lashes and that is what I chose to do upon checking out. However, Yoko had informed me that it would be $50 due today since I removed my lashes, I was never informed that there was a charge associated with removing them and I had asked her for a refund of my fill because I had just had them done two days ago. Argumentative with me in front of another client who I just come in, I am blown away with how this salon has handled their clients and the customer service that is provided at the salon. I asked for the managers number, and she had informed me that she cannot provide that, and that she would take down my information and have her call me. Avoid this shady business, the owner is never present, I'm sure I will never hear from the manager. But I will definitely follow up and make sure everyone knows not to come here. UPDATE: posted this review a few months ago, the owner Susie called and asked me to take it down as it would reflect poorly on her business. At this time, I have given grater thought and other people need to know to avoid this business at all costs, they did not make it right either. read more

I went to a lash technician in Walnut creek. She charged me 150$ for a Volume full set and free lash removal. I learned that the price here is very high compared to other lash salons, but the quality is below average. My lash technician said the glue they used is really cheap and low quality. Do your research ladies, there are better and cheaper options out there! read more

The website didn't provide clear pricing for a brow and lash tint--it's $99, in case anyone is wondering. Not pleased with the $20 upcharge for a "master stylist," especially on top of the tip. I have tint streaks on my forehead and temple from dye that wasn't properly wiped away. The streaking appeared hours later; otherwise, I would have said something at the time. My "master stylist" wasn't friendly in the least and did a sloppy job. read more

I have been coming here for a few months now and got my hybrid lashes done by Candy. I have her since her apprentice days and she has shown improvement in speed and quality. My lashes got complimented on all the time! She is extremely careful, and the results really show. My lashes usually last a good two to 3 weeks and I use Talika serum daily to keep them strong and healthy. I am trying out their lash lift service now too because I got lazy and kind of miss rubbing my eyes, washing my lashes without worrying about ruining them and putting on mascara since I have so many left. The membership is definitely worth it if you are in it for the long haul and I might switch back if I don't think lift is as great as lashes! read more

Relaxing atmosphere felt like I was at the spa. The beds are comfortable and they have a thing for your legs. Even a blanket of you get cold. My lash tech Claudia was outstanding ! I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews as my experience with the Lash Lounge has been incredibly positive. I got my first set of lashes by an independent tech not affiliated with lash lounge right before a trip to Nola in March. I asked for wispy classics and was given thick hybrids that honestly looked like cheap strip lashes. Within 2 days one eye lost 50% of the lashes. When I contacted the tech and asked if she could fill some in before my flight the next day, she said she was unavailable and simply offered 50% off my next fill. I should have known since she cancelled my first appt 30 min prior saying she ran out of glue. Since this was an independent contractor I had no options and she no accountability. Once I was in Nola I reached out the Lash Lounge mid city New Orleans and the tech did a beautiful mini fill on both eyes that I preferred to the original set. I had no clue there was a lash lounge in California and was so delighted when I came home and was able to easily sign up for the monthly membership at the Walnut Creek location. I've had 2 fills thus far and have been so happy with the results. I first saw Taylor and then Claudia and I highly recommend both. Claudia recommended that at my next visit I do a level 3 fill so she can replace the hybrid lashes that have fallen out with classics and I'm so excited to see the results. Bottom line is if you're looking for a quality salon that offers exceptional service and results look no further. I highly recommend especially over an independent tech. read more

Angelina was great! Everything was perfect. I think I fell asleep, but I woke up with amazing looking lashes. The products they use did not make me tear up. I have sensitive eyes, and this has happened to me in the past. She also did a great job placing my lashes. I had issues before with lashes because they would be too close to my lid and I'd get so irritated I'd subconsciously pick them off myself. These are perfect and I don't feel any issues. I really wished I had listened to the previous negative reviews of this place. You will be highly disappointed here. I have been there twice already and this was my third and final visit. You would think they'd want returning customers but that doesn't mean anything to them. Stone cold and insensible. All they want is to try to charge you bogus fees. The first two times was with their Sr. Stylist, Cindy. She's honest and you can tell she is good at what she does. The receptionist on the first visit was Alessandra. Informed me of the membership but I passed because I wasn't sure if I'd come back as I was just testing out lashes for the very first time. She needs to improve her communication skills. She doesn't do a great job explaining how the fees and membership work at all. Unprofessional. I made a second appointment for a fill 2 weeks later. I had Cindy again. Claudine was the receptionist. She was professional and has good communication skills explaining the membership. I was excited to become a member and schedule my fill visit but Cindy shared that I needed to take a break from lashes because there wouldn't be any lashes to refill. She suggested trying a lash growth serum for a month and come back and do the membership then. Fast forward to my third visit after a month and doing the serum, I get assigned to Jenna. The receptionist was Alessandra. I was running late and talked to Alessandra at least 3 times via phone letting her know where I am. She shared that I needed to get there by 1:30 to give the stylist enough time. I get there by 1:31 and then she tells me that because I'm a no-show, she will charge me $75. I told her on the phone I was on the way and I even asked her if I should reschedule and that's when she said, if I get there by 1:30pm it should be fine. I get there at 1:31, 1 minute later and tells me she needs to charge me $75 for a no show when I was actually there in person. I was not a no show and I called her at least 3 times letting her know where I was and even asked her if I should reschedule. Nothing on the reservation said that if I rescheduled that I would get charged ANOTHER $75. She said to reschedule would cost another $75 to book it. Then she texts the manager, Suzy E, when I asked if I could speak with her. She said I couldn't but she could text her only. She texts her in front of me and then 5 minutes later as I've been standing waiting she tells me that the manager said to charge me the full amount of $149 for a no show when I was literally 1 minute late and also there in person and just after Alessandra just told me it was $75. Just ridiculous! Alessandra, the receptionist and Suzy, the owner are heartless, crass and insensitive. You might as well add the stylist, Jenna, too, being completely insensitive because of that 1 minute difference. If you decide to try this place out, "good luck!" Update - Suzy E called me once she read my review and shared that it was bad for business and that she was told a different story. She apologized and asked me when I could come in and made arrangements for me to be seen by Cindy. I'm glad it was with Cindy as she is truly the best at what she does. Unfortunately, after all this, I can't seem to find myself motivated to go again unless it was with Cindy and the front desk worker, Alessandra, no longer there. I called with a couple questions and I was explained something wrong over the phone and so I had questions about it in person and the owner was so condescending and I felt so embarrassed. I really wanted a membership here because I thought it would fit best with my budget and schedule in the owner made me never want to step foot into this place ever again. I wanted to sign up for membership, but the lack of customer service was awful. Don't believe the five star reviews. They have a sign that offers a discount for any five star reviews given.
