This is my first 5 star yelp review of any business. I go the Lady Volume done yesterday by Amelia. She did a wonderful job ! I booked for a Lady Classic but looking at other reviews I was nervous that the impact would be too slight so we switched it up. I'm pretty new to the lash life so I put my trust in her to frame it around my eyes the way she thought was best (cat eye) & I love the result. I booked this appointment last minute and this was the only time slot & service option they had available however I really am happy with the result. Overall the customer service was outstanding, quality of work and time management (30 min) on point . Amelia also taught me more about lash placement so now I am able to be more specific when getting them done . 10/10 highly recommend ! Not sure what happened but it was a new technician who worked on my lashes. If I ever come back, I would have to remember to always book Zakiya instead. It's a circle floor plan so just walk around until you get to Suite 211. They also text you 1-2 hrs before the appt to make sure you don't get lost! The salon is very small. Fit for two customers at a time. You'll wait outside the salon but inside the bldg (in the hallway). E X P E R I E N C E It's my first time here but not my first time getting lash extensions. I got here at 12:40 and filled out the basic personal info form on a tablet in 2 mins. My appt was for 12:45PM. There was already another customer in the room and I didn't get helped until 12:55PM. Simone finished at 2:15PM. Simone was my lash tech and she's amazing! She's friendly and seems to have a high standard of work. I verbalized everything I wanted (D curls, rounded eye look, I would like as long of lashes that my natural root can handle without harming them) and she made it happen. Please see photos! I fell asleep multiple times because she was so gentle with my face, the atmosphere was so calming and because it was so quiet. There's background music that makes the environment feel so much more serene. Fantastic experience! C L E A N L I N E S S The bed and blankets used were not sanitized after every customer use. These were fabric line, unlike others that I've laid in. I didn't see the tools she used so I can't guarantee that they were sterile equipment. First, I want to say that the facility itself is amazing! I give it 5 stars. The chairs are similar to zero gravity chairs where you're reclined and legs are elevated making for an incredibly relaxed experience and the aromatherapy is a nice touch. The 2 times I've visited, I've been so relaxed that I've fallen asleep! Love that! I liked my lashes ok the first time but after I lived with them a few days I felt they were really basic. I hate tarantula style lashes with a passion, HOWEVER, I also need something I can FEEL and these weren't it. I scheduled my fill right after my first service so I figured I would express this on the next visit. Additionally, by the time I came for my 2 week fill, I had NO lashes. I would go see My long time tech (who left the business) every 3 weeks and still had plenty lashes left. I came for the the next visit and expressed that I needed more - she did ok but because refill visits are 30 minutes, I only received what feels like 1 layer of lashes. I know by next week they'll be gone! Here's what I'm NOT impressed with: their service structure. I find it to be confusing and ultimately a waste of money for the consumer. Don't get me started on the service names and what they entail. They schedule their services by time not the service which in my opinion leads to work that looks to be half assed. My fill in service is a 30'min service for $85. In 30 minutes the majority of my lashes don't have an extension. That's insane to me. Any other lash tech I've been to charges whatever they charge for a fill in of every lash they extended in the first place. It seems The Lash Queens are more concerned about getting butts in seats than providing a complete service. I give it 3 stars because the work is "ok" if you're new to lashes or need lashes VERY temporarily for an event or something of that sort. I won't be back which is unfortunate because I absolutely love the experience of it all! read more

The day has finally come that I had to find a new lash tech. I looked on Instagram and Google and didn't find anything out or the ordinary. So then I came to Yelp! & I know I should've started here but hey.. I'm here now. I found the Lash Queens on here and saw they were less than two miles from my current location plus the reviews were great and I loved their website. I went back and forth with myself for a while because having anything done on your face and especially the eyes is scary when trusting and trying someone new. I went and saw as many pictures as I could and then did it. I called! I spoke to the girl and asked a million questions. Questions I didn't see the answers to online in their bios. Then I made my appointment. I was wild nervous but I loved the outcome - of my selected visit three day after my first. See, my first visit - my lashes were top short for my liking. I like them a little on the longer side so I called Simone and asked her if they could be adjusted. She obliged and I came back. When I left the second time, I was more than pleased. Visiting Atlanta last week and had a function to go to. Anxiously, I looked for a place to get my eyebrows done since I did not have time prior to arriving. Luckily, I came across The Lash Queens in Marietta. I was a walk-in and Jaela took care of me. She was professional, listened to my requests, and did a wonderful job on my brows. It's scary being out of town especially when you need a personal service, but Jaela put me at ease and I was very pleased with the outcome....and apparently she's an esthetician too! I was referred to the Lash Queens by my sister! My first lash experience was done by a MUA at her home and it was definitely a little traumatizing. So I was nervous going into the lash queens. They are located in a plaza and there is plenty of parking and it's pretty easy to enter into the salon suite. I didn't have to wait long to begin my appointment with Zakiya and she was very informative about the process and the length of lashes I was getting. She clarified my description of wanting lashes dramatic and full for my wedding! Although it took me a few minutes to get adjusted having mediation music and a comfortable room temperature made it easy to relax into the appointment. Although I'm never comfortable enough to fall asleep I stopped twitching. When they were complete I was able to open my eyes and nothing stuck! The convenience to my home, ease of booking an appointment for services within 24 hours, and the quality of the work are all excellent. I love my eyebrows! However, they were a little more pricey than I expected. Their service menu said that eyebrow waxing was included with tint services and cost $35 total. I first got my Lashes done with Z years and years ago. Ill never see anyone other than Simone and Z for my lashes! They were blessed with an angel's touch when they're doing your lashes. There are SUPER fast, that 30 mins session will get u out looking GOR.GEOUS!! The place is easy to find and the ambience is relaxing, TOO RELAXING. (You will fall asleep, they will hear u snore). I mean the experience was okay but it was too expensive for the quality of work. I paid over 175$ for a mixed classic set, they didn't give me the discount I was promised for being a first time customer like advertised. also, my appointment was at 9 am and I showed up at 9:02 and the ladies were extremely annoyed about it. Though I read the reviews and thought this would be a great spot for me, I am now starting to feel like I was somehow ripped off. I spent over $100 and though the lashes looked good at first, now they aren't looking too good. And what I received for that amount was surprising in not a good way. I got what I asked for, but do not think it equated with the price. I got the lashes on Labor Day and now on Friday it's not even looking like I got them done. I even asked my friends who have more experience with lashes and their responses were, 'you really paid over $100 for that?'. So many lashes have already fallen off and I even took extra precautions to not get them wet nor even allow moisture near them. Now they are looking sad. Some are still curled, some have lost its curl, and some are slowly falling off just chilling in my eye. Besides that the spot was chill and cute. A little bright in there, but not the worst thing So basically, I'm disappointed and wish I could have my money back. Today is Sunday, but I drafted this Friday. UPDATE: Sad shame. Very disappointed. I was going to keep it at 2 stars, but we're down to 1. Here's why: I decided to try again because they have good reviews and I was really hoping it would be a better experience this time around. I arrived and the new shop is really lovely by the way. It's so pretty and pink. Love the Christmas tree. Jessie started my lashes immediately and we decided on mixed lashes and cat eye style. Long story short, these lashes are NOT cat style. They are basically all the same length. The my inner lid looks as if a few lashes are missing(they just weren't put there). I didn't have much of a chance to look before I left, for I was in a rush. Also, there's a if you check in on yelp offer you get the free eyebrow waxing. Eyebrows look good btw. Second huge issue was the payment. Again, long story short, I asked the amount, and she said $115 and I reminded her of the 25% discount. She claimed I couldn't use two offers at once. I said I wish I would've known that and she's like she didn't know I was going to be using the 25% and she claimed it even said it on the Yelp app that I can't combine offers. So fast forward to now and I look on the app again and it mentions nothing of not being able to combine offers. This sort of thing certainly does not encourage me to leave a tip. read more

I've been here 3 times now. Followed the owners (Simone) here after they left their other salon. Their location is easy to get too past the new construction of an apartment building. They are in the lofts in a shopping center. It's the building across from Kroger. Super safe atmosphere as you need to be buzzed in. Plenty of parking. About Simone- Gentle touch. Pleasant and professional as always. She is also flexible in scheduling. I love their website too! If you are looking for a small eye lash bar that is easy to get too, reasonable in price, will give you fabulous lashes and where they do not use cheap glue so no burning then come here. Unfortunately this quality I received a while back didn't last at all. My original lash artist left along with all of the other ones that were great. It was explained to me after I privately complained that the owner was actively looking for and personally training new last artists. I still thought I'd keep going because as a manager myself, I understand. Unfortunately it all kept going downhill. It seems they have some additional new employees and now charge an up charge if you want your lashes done by the owner who I know, no doubt, does an amazing job. If you don't mind the cost and can get on her schedule, then go for it. I truly wish them the best but if you're looking to not waste your time and money (and can't get on the owner's schedule), I suggest moving on. They're very expensive anyway, especially for a beauty service you can't see until it's completely over and you have to pay and tip. It's pretty frustrating at best. really skeptical lash extensions until I came here. I did my research and read a bunch of reviews and pictures and I am so glad I did. Samoan is amazing. She really takes the time to get to know you and make sure the lashes flatter your eye shake. She's honest and does great work. I love my lashes and I enjoy the time I have what Simone.
