We came across The Last Queen through an online search of places to eat while we're out of town. To say it exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. The owner was helping out behind the bar and had a conversation with us about the alcohol selections, recommending a liquor and a drink to try. Both of these were delicious! The Pimm's Cup was different than anything we've had before and we loved it! For food, our table had Fish & Chips, Shepard's Pie, and Bangers & Mash as entrees. Everything was cooked to perfection & tasted delicious! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was also incredible! The restaurant is adorable inside, clean throughout, quick service, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will absolutely be recommending this place to family & friends and will be back, regardless of the drive to get there! read more

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. You order at the bar and they will bring it to your table. We had our 19 month old grandson with us- no kids menu but some offerings on the menu worked for him. Definitely worth the drive. read more

We just moved to the local area and , on a drive around, drove past this place. Hoped it wasn't another American owned attempt at British food, and was excited when I read it was owned by Brit's. We decided to make a trip back and go for the full English breakfast. Building was very nice, decorated inside nicely. Sat down, given the menu, ordered a cuppa and the full English. Waiter was young and very pleasant and took our order in a timely manner. My tea arrived, with two pots of half and half. I had to ask for milk. Brit's do not drink tea with half and half and was surprised I was served it, especially being owned by Brit's. Then the breakfast arrived. The baked beans had a bbq taste, I had 1/2 slice of grilled tomato and that was the best bit, a few salty mushrooms, 2 eggs and 2 sausages that were so densely packed, they were like cardboard and no more British than my American husband. Very interesting location. It's exactly as it advertised with all the fixings. The food was great. I can personally recommend the steak and stout pie. It was both larger and far tastier than I was personally expecting. It is a small spot though and probably could fill up in peak season. there isn't much in the way of parking at the restaurant but there is plenty further down the street within walking distance. read more

Actual British pub in Enon of all places (Proprietor is English). Top notch food, good tap list, excellent whiskey selection. Bartenders are friendly and efficient, plus they actually have a personality. Parking lot is a half block down the street, which is a plus compared to all the places with street parking. Ambiance is delightful, sort of a mashup of classic pub, kitchy english elements, and modern aspects (like a nice wide bar made from character oak). Try the bangers and mash, and a Penderyn Welsh whiskey. read more

Drinks are really good, food is basically sandwiches and whatnot at pretty high price. Not what I would even consider for a dinner meal. I'm not saying that the food is bad, it's actually very good and there is quite the customer following, it's just not my cup of tea. read more

This place was amazing. I came all the way from Texas to try this food and what can I say... it's the best food in the world. The nice wood work and amazing servers created a great atmosphere. Matt at the bar and Rob in the back were great. For breakfast I would recommend the berry pancakes and for dinner I would recommend the steak and stout pie. This is a must stop restaurant and I'm suprised they don't have a Michelin star yet. read more

I ate here once. I would go back. We sat outdoors, nice ambiance. Food was okay but we accidentally ordered a veggie burger and when the waitress asked how our food was she remarked "oh, lots of people do that" in response to our accidental order. It was listed correctly on the menu, we just didn't read enough to see it was veggies. Maybe they could mark that better or make it a different veggie section? Beers were good but I didn't realize they had more on tap than they listed until I was leaving/ good to know for future visits. Dessert was so good/ so good! I appreciate the attention to locally sourced products and supporting small business. I would never have attended had the reviews not been pushing me there as this place is significantly out of my way. That said/ I'll be back. Went in with my parents as they wanted to try the full English breakfast. I'm not really a breakfast person so I was looking forward to trying other things on the menu, but only the full English is available in the morning. Wasn't excited about this but was actually quite pleasantly surprised. Everything on the plate was excellent, especially the baked beans. They source some of their ingredients locally and don't cut corners in the kitchen, and this shows on the plate/in flavor. The staff was also super friendly. My guy and I stumbled upon this place awhile ago looking for a beer garden. Food was so good. First time I had the fish and chips. The fish was large and crispy and delicious. The homemade thick cut fries were also perfectly crispy with the added vinegar of course! My guy had the shepherds pie it was equally delicious and a generous portion! I had an old fashioned which was perfectly concocted. The staff were so very friendly and courteous. The owner greeted us. He was personable and engaging! We liked it so much we took our best friends there to celebrate their birthdays! Again the food is great! The drinks were yummm I had the espresso martini made with fresh pressed espresso! Love the food and atmosphere! It's a small place but very open and had a nice backyard/seating area. My only complaint was you ways had to go back to the bar for drink refills, even water. A small pitcher for the table would be nice and cut down on people constantly walking back/forth with full glasses in a small area. Definitely worth a try and drive out to Enon! read more

This place is fantastic as far as Keith the bartender was. We only came in for beverages after getting off late from work. The fish in the fish and chips was over cooked. One couple received their food, the we waited for ours. All food was delivered without silverware. Had to wait for that. Great atmosphere, food and service. Hidden gem in "downtown" Enon. If you are heading to Springfield for dinner - drive the extra few miles out in the country to give this place a try. In English tradition, you find your own table and seat yourself. When you are ready, you head to the bar to place your order. You can pay right then to avoid a wait later. A server brings you your food. Food taste and presentation was great. Portions were nice size. Owner came over and introduced himself snd explained how the restaurant came to be. Lived in England previously and we miss a lot about some of the quaint traditions. So, discovering The Last Queen Pub in our local area was a pleasant surprise! Treated my brother for lunch and was really looking forward to enjoying the tradition of a British style pub with English ambience and we were VERY PLEASED from the moment we arrived. Props to the inspired decor. I love cosy British style. The owner Adrian is GREAT and very personable even with a full house for our initial visit. The food was very well prepared, high quality and flavorful. I had the fish and chips (the Cod was a large portion, perfectly crisp, tender fish, amazing chips too YUM) and my brother had the Chuggy burger (best burger he's had in a long time and that burger was pretty too, lol) JUST great! Everyone was lovely and we look forward to visiting again and again and trying more of the menu and enjoying this terrific local pub and eatery. read more
