Ordering was simple and the wait staff was very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals that were hot and seasoned very well. We would have preferred the fish sandwich without cheese, but everything else was tasty. The gastropub was a great evening spot for dinner! There are heaters for dining in the porch too.

Great visit tonight at The Last Queen Mon loves fish & heard good things about their fish & chips. I enjoyed the turkey sandwich with chips aka fries. The chips were great just like in the UK. I loved the Elizabeth my Dear house ale made by local brewery Branch & Bone with Nitro again just like a pint in a UK pub. Everyone was so friendly, note you have to order at the bar & then close out your tab like a British pub. They were packed tonight it being a Friday night, will definitely return again. Thanks Last Queen team.

Such a fun place! We were on a roadtrip and we asked AI several questions and lo and behold it suggested this gem! When we walked in we were greeted by the owner. Appears this is a very family run business. I recommend sitting at the bar (you don't have to walk to order food plus the conversation is nice). Menu is completely British.... I had the Shepards Pie and my husband had the fish and chips and both were great. They have a good selection of draft beers (even a few English ones). The decor felt very British pub style, all the way down to the wooden bar top. Such a cute place good food. Would definitely recommend!

Quirky lil pub on the outside of town. It's a pub with rules to seat and wait on yourself but some where waiting to be sat. We sat at the bar. We didn't know if we ordered at the bar or payed at the bar. It was a little confusing especially because the bartenders were not very attentive. Seems like they talked to people who were already regulars more. The fish and chips was great; the Tatar sauce was the most delicious I may have ever tasted. I'd def stop back if I was in the area.

The restaurant was crowded for a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar even though there were tables available in the heated patio. The servers were attentive to our needs. Order at the bar and they will bring your food and drinks to your table. The parking is in multiple locations nearby. Look for a double decker bus and you are in the right place! The menu seems like legitimate British pub fare. I ordered the chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes. It was very hot and delicious. My husband ordered the ABLE burger. The cheese was tangy and it was a little more rare than he liked even though he ordered medium well. He still ate it. I really enjoyed our trip to this restaurant. I would definitely come back if I am near.

Blink as you drive through Enon and you could miss it, but what an absolute hidden gem! Order your drinks and food at the bar and they run it out to you. Started with an Old-Fashioned and they do it right with the proper cherry and all! And they have Negra Modelo! Fried Halloumi and Olive Mash were the starters and the Halloumi brought us back to our Europe visit and the Olive Mash was great but definitely needs more crackers. The Fish are huge and all the entrees were so flavorful from the salad to the curry and the Steak Pie. Definitely will be back. Very cool atmosphere but get here quick because tables and the bar fill up fast.

The food was excellent here. The service was ok. It's an odd service experience because it's kind of self service order at the counter unless you sit at the the bar where you might get service but would probably be better served walking to the end and ordering at the register. The inside was nice but slightly cramped.

I'm giving The Last Queen 4-stars because I like to support local independent restaurants but honestly I don't think we'll return. To start off on a positive note, the staff were all great-friendly and helpful...5-stars for them! The restaurant has potential-I love the stone walls and the wood tables. But each INDOOR table had a fly fan that took up a sizeable area of the tabletop. And a restaurant that has so many flies indoors is a red flag. It seems like there must be a better solution to get rid of them. We eat outdoors at many restaurants and never have dealt with flies like this. I ordered fish and chips. It was a very large portion but unfortunately the fish was under-seasoned and bland. Now, to end on another positive note, we split an order of sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious!

The food was very authentic, very similar to the food I had in London and the environment is similar to a pub. Highly recommend if you want an authentic British experience in Ohio!

I love The Last Queen. I love the cheery greeting, the friendly staff, the traditional pub ordering method (and the chalkboard with the simple instructions for novices). I love the Queen Elizabeth memorabilia display and the cosy waiting area. (Happily we've never had to wait for a seat.) I love the authentic and typically British decor, the wooden flooring, wood plank bar front, stoneface walls and the archway to the restroom area, and yes I love the sparkly clean restrooms (known as tinkletoria) with their own charming touch of decor. I love the mismatched pub chairs and the wooden paddles with the table numbers. I love the beautiful well stocked bar with its comfy seats and outstanding drink selection. I love that this is family owned by an actual British family! The atmosphere is so real, and so different from anywhere else I've been within my expansive restaurant circle. This pub is not to be missed. The food is fabulous, and while it's British style I'd say the portions are American-inspired if you know what I mean. Lots of food on your plate and many of the dishes, including the smashing breakfast and most of the "A Bit British" items could easily be shared. This also goes for the daily muffins and other fresh bakery items! If you've not experienced a Full English breakfast I recommend you set the alarm and get in here and do so. You'll be licking the plate, and even the Half English should hold you till tea time. The Fish and Chips is probably the best you'll find anywhere in this part of the country- giant flaky cod fillets with a flavorful crisp and not overthick batter coating. And oh that homemade tartar. I highly recommend both of these along with Bangers & Mash and Shepherd's Pie. And the sticky toffee pudding. The BLT + goat cheese sarnie was delicious though it did need a couple swipes of mayonnaise which was furnished on request. It should be noted the staff are checking on you often and will bring refills or whatever else you need. There are two things about The Last Queen that I do not like; one, they only offer paper straws (eww) and the other is that the tiny front parking lot is 1/3 taken up by an EV charging station plus a spot surrounded by bumpers which says only EVs may be parked there. This makes it rather challenging to get in, and especially out of, the one handicap spot. My husband has difficulty walking which makes this important for me. I get that there probably are some electric vehicles around and they need charging stations but it seems that would more appropriately placed in a larger lot. This will not keep me away from TLQ however. Long live The Queen!

A must go if in the Enon/Springfield area! Styled like a British pub, you order at the counter and the food and drink comes to your table. Everything I have had here is excellent, but of course the staple is the Fish & Chips - it is always a massive portion of fish and a homemade tartar sauce that has a bit of a sweeter, potentially from a relish, taste than the tartar sauce out of a squeeze packet. The fries are always perfectly crisp and actually do travel well as well if not able to sit at the restaurant. A full bar and great draft options that would appease anyone. This time around I decided for the cod sandwich which was a perfect portion size. If proper British fare isn't your thing, I have heard from multiple people that their burgers as well are fantastic!

It's all about the food! It's all about the vibe..starting with the handsome British lad (owner? ) who always makes sure that you are greated. Then we have the carasmatic plus comical bartender. Last but not least are the excellent servers who are always making sure that you are covered. I recommend starting with their infamous fish & chips that are simply to dye for. Never mind the ketchup..just dip your chips aka fries in The Last Queen EPIC in taste tarter sauce. Everything about this establishment is a treat within itself. Leave your troubles behind and get your groove on at The Last Queen!

The Last Queen (Enon, OH) A pint-sized passport to Britain, no flight required. You order at the bar (as one should), then settle in for a feast that hits every nostalgic note. We warmed up with Bloody Marys and their fluffy pancake stacked with local sausage and bacon, a delicious breakfast prelude worth the drive. Then came the royal spread . . . * Fish & Chips: golden, crispy and perfectly flakey. * Bangers, Mash & Beans: cozy comfort in every bite. * Steak & Stout Pie: rich and deeply satisfying. * Sausage Roll w/Curry Sauce: a flakey, crave-able combo. Wrapped up our experience with the perfect finale Tea with the house-made Scone ! Every dish ? Bang on ! Service ? Friendly ! The Vibe ? Cozy, cheeky, and full of heart ! Fyi: We saw other comments regarding the flies before we headed their way, happy to report the garage doors were open for a nice breeze but NO issues with flies . They have small fans on the table is case you want to turn it on . The indoor / outdoor patio is really nice and set under a canopy of trees ! The Last Queen isn't just a pub; it's a proper experience.

I was hosting a group that included business colleagues, families, and kids, all arriving by party bus, and I needed a customized menu that could satisfy everyone. From the moment I connected with General Manager Scott Inlow and Chef Eric, they were all in. Both of them personally followed up with me by phone, listened to exactly what I was trying to accomplish, and created a menu that absolutely exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal. Every single guest commented on how outstanding it was, and there was something for everyone. What truly set Dingle House apart, though, was the service. When our party bus arrived, Scott, Chef Eric, and the team were waiting for us with everything we needed. They brought the food directly to the bus, along with plates, utensils, napkins, and an incredible attitude. They turned what could have been a logistical challenge into one of the most memorable parts of the entire event. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and I've never experienced a team so willing to go above and beyond to accommodate such an unusual request on such short notice. They didn't just meet expectations. They completely redefined what great hospitality looks like. A huge thank you to Scott, Chef Eric, and everyone at Dingle House. Your flexibility, professionalism, and commitment to making our event a success did not go unnoticed. My guests and I are incredibly grateful, and you've earned customers for life.

Parking was a nightmare, traffic was bumper to bumper, but we were vested at this point. Mac's is situated in a strip mall area near the Convention Center with an adorable facade where on nice days they can roll up the windows for open air seating in the front of the restaurant. They actually had the windows open on Saturday, so we chose to sit further inside since it was a little chilly that day. When we sat down (you choose your own seat here) it was really noisy and crowded. They had one waiter for the entire restaurant, a very nice young man who stopped by the minute we sat down to tell us his name and that he would be right with us. After 10 minutes he came by and took our drinks order (two Cokes) and we ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. He did not take our entire order though, and said he would be right back with our drinks. 15 minutes later he was back with two waters; we told him we ordered Cokes and off he went again, returning in 10 minutes with Cokes. Our pretzel bites came out from a guy who looked like the manager, but we still had not placed our main order. We finished the pretzel bites (they were good) and decided that 40 minutes of waiting to place our order was a tad lengthy, so 5 minutes later when he finally made it over we asked for the check. He was very apologetic and ran off to get our check. 10 minutes later, he's back with the bill but drops it off and runs to another table. We waited and waited, planning to pay with our credit card, but after yet another 10 minutes and no sign of him, we left cash and got out of there. We may try these guys again on a non-game day, but I'm not totally convinced the service would be any better regardless. After 20 minutes or so of us arriving, the restaurant had cleared out quite a bit but it didn't help us get any closer to placing our order. It's a shame too because they had a very cool menu and we were excited to try their main entrees. Maybe someday....
