Large bar dominates the interior of the space, with tables around the perimeter and a decent set of outdoor spots as well! Floor to ceiling windows invite plenty of natural light to flood the space! Staff is friendly enough :) The beer is refreshing, with a decent diversity of styles and flavors! Micheladas looked tasty and were popular with the other drinkers around. Pizza and pretzel were both above average and tasty! We always will give Pickle Pizza a try, and this one is great!

They also have a solid beer and wine selection, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends or do a casual date night. The vibe inside is relaxed with mostly indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor seating available too and it's great when the weather is nice. The bar is cozy and unpretentious, with a pool table and an outdoor patio offering private seating--perfect for catching up with friends. The bartenders are genuinely sweet and kind, and Brenda and Amy truly make Ruby's what it is. They're friendly, attentive, and help create the easy bond you feel between the staff and regulars. The drinks are strong and cheap (as a good dive bar should be). The only downside is that it's cash-only, but with a bank right across the street, it's hardly an inconvenience. Whether you're starting the night or ending it with a nightcap, Ruby's has become a regular stop for us and our friends.

It was fresh, flavorful, and filling without leaving me feeling overly stuffed afterward. Their margaritas are perfect for a hot summer day and they often have specials and a great happy hour! Service was very friendly, and we were seated right away. I also love that this location has options for indoor seating, the patio, or sitting at the bar depending on what you're in the mood for. It's still dark, with dark wood tables -- a very old-school bar in the best possible way. It had been so many years that I didn't recognize any servers, but the woman who served us was very friendly, prompt and attentive. We sat at a small table for two in the bar, and we each ordered a drink (beer for him, cider for me) and we split a full order of nachos. They also brought us water without asking which was a very nice touch. Our drinks were good (mine was in a can, so it was exactly as expected). Husband ordered a dark draft beer that he enjoyed. The nachos were good. It was a generous serving and we liked how the meat was thoroughly cooked and we also liked how the chips didn't get soggy. One thing we both noticed is that there was a real shortage of cheese on the nachos, and we both feel like that's a crucial nacho ingredient: we would have liked a significant amount more cheese. Prices were quite fair for what we got. Anyway... it was a real nostalgic trip into 'Stones and we enjoyed it: we'll be back.

Still tasty, just not quite perfect. To drink, I had the Lovely Lady Hazy IPA, which hit exactly what I look for in a hazy: balanced bitterness with a bright citrus pop that really came through. Easily a great choice if you're into hazies. The decor deserves a mention on its own--the space has a cozy log cabin-in-the-forest vibe that feels warm and inviting without being overdone. The entire restaurant and bar area were clean and neat, and the restrooms were spotless and well maintained, which I always appreciate. Our server, Logan (who I believe may also be a manager), was super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Parking was another big plus--there's a side parking lot with plenty of space, which is rare and extremely convenient for a downtown location where street parking is usually a hassle. One thing to note: there's new ownership, and if you have gift cards from the previous owner, only the GM can approve their use. Unfortunately, he wasn't there during our visit, so I couldn't use mine. That said, it didn't sour the experience. Overall, great food, great beer, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Despite the small hiccup with the gift card, I'll definitely be back because the experience was genuinely enjoyable.
