Update to Josh's response: 1) We already pre-purchased general admission tickets. Securing the table was an extra $100. 2) The table we were given was outside on the patio with zero view of the band. Beautiful view though. 3) 3 Surrounding tables had "reserved" signs on them, but people sat there without paying. We know because we asked them. They did not pay. They took a chance and said if someone asked them to leave, they would. They ordered from servers and were never asked to leave. 4) It was Tijuana dogs, who we have seen for free at Sea Legs, Costa Mesa concerts in the Park, Mozambique, Campus Jacks, just to name a few. They are a fun band; but I wouldnt call them a premier band. They are a fun, OC Cover band. 5) Hopefully you will take the feedback and apply it. Went in a little over a month ago, ordered the grilled cheese/ tomato bisque combo, it was amazing ! Drinks were good too. Second visit, ordered the same thing. Omg it was horrible. The grilled cheese had burnt cheese on the outside and the soup was cold and the texture of it was off Very thick. I did not eat it. Overall the place has a great vibe. read more

Another great place recommended by a friend of mine. We went there because we were looking just to get a quick drink before checking out a key other places. I'm so glad we did cuz I would never have known this place it existed.. The lighthouse is a very interesting mix of sports bar and music venue. We sat at the bar and were able to see the stage with no problem. The good place to sit to view the stage is really the bar and not the other tables. I highly recommend getting a bar seat because you'll probably get faster service. There are plenty of places to sit. If you have larger parties, and the chairs are very comfortable. The drinks are decent, I would not say overly strong, but they are definitely adequate for the price. The ambient noise level is pretty loud, especially when someone is playing, so the volume is a little bit raised more than what I would normally do. Do. Although during the day I can imagine it's at a normal level where you can talk and have a conversation. I cannot speak to the food, as we did not really order anything except some nuts for the bar. They were tasty, and the addition of the Rosemary was very nice. Service wise, our bartender came through with four stars. She was great, attentive, not overbearing and pleasant to talk to. The bottom line? I would definitely come back here, and for sure I would love to come back here and see a band perform. I ordered a salad with chicken and it didn't have much flavor. I just gave them three stars because the service was horrible. I believe they didn't have enough staff. when I got there, they just told me to sit anywhere. We sat outside at least for 15 minutes and no one came to ask us what we would like. I had to go call the waitress to take my order.My friend ordered nachos with no jalapeño and they brought nachos with jalapeño. I ordered my salad without chips and I got my salad with chips. It's beautiful because you see the beach right from your seat. I think if I go back to this place, I will just order drinks. read more

Huge space! Great outdoor patio. Wonderful service. Tasty food. I've been to the Hermosa Beach location many times. This location has a similar (if not the same) menu. The location is 3 times the size of Hermosa, so even though I could hear my friend's band beautifully while having dinner on the patio, I could not see the stage. Jazz brunch was awesome. They have it every Sunday 10am-1pm. The Jazz singer Carly O'Neill was amazing can't wait for her to perform there agin! Food was delicious, I had the pancake with a strong Bloody Mary! We were having so much fun, we decided to stick around for the second music act The Red Hot Cholo Peppers. They rocked out hard! I visited The Lighthouse with some friends, and I thought it was a relatively cool spot. I ordered the breakfast old fashioned, which was slightly brighter than a regular old fashioned? It was delicious, by any means. The ambiance was chill, lowkey vibes, with relaxing music playing. The service was alright, but our drinks did take quite awhile to come out. As far as breakfast food options, I wish there more. The options were very basic and overpriced. I refrained from ordering food this outing. I hope they continue to expand on their menu. read more

Came to listen to a band and was less impressed With everything but the band. Service was slow, drinks were weak, and food was so terrible we didn't even eat half of it. Our server was kind when we saw her but only took orders from a couple people so we had to flag down more help. No napkins for a table of eight people. A busboy cleared the food and people's half full drinks! While doing so he stacked the cups and the half full glass shot liquid on the woman at the table next to us! There was a big puddle on the floor and the woman's jacket was visibly wet (not just drops.) I assumed he'd go get a mop or towels but he literally did nothing and never came back to clean it up. Hire more staff, train them well, and don't source from Sysco! read more

We came here during opening week and it was a great experience. It was busy packed, but everyone was having a good time. The staff were friendly and helpful- the servers, the bouncer, at the bar, just all around they were all friendly and approachable. The ambience was very chill and casual people were just having a great time. The drinks were a bit pricey (I mean, what isn't nowadays) but well served. The live music was a nice treat. Went to this new venue for the first time on 6/14/26 to see a great local band, Tastee Nuggz, perform. What a nice place. Great vibe, decor and site lines. Huge bar, an outside patio and ocean views of beautiful Huntington Beach. The lighting is great too. Warm lighting and absolutely no harsh/cold lights. Props on the design. What needs work is the sound and mix. The ceiling is metal so the drums swamped the mix and produced harsh, piercing highs. My suggestion is to install sound dampening panels above the stage and throughout the venue from the ceiling so the drums and other amplified instruments can be contained and mixed properly. New venue so always some things to work out and improve. Overall, I LOVE this place and look forward to it evolving and thriving. 5-stars as I have confidence they will make the changes needed in order to make the sound mix great. read more

We came across this place a few nights ago after having dinner at another place in Pacific City and decided we definitely needed to check it out. My husband and I went this afternoon for a bite to eat and to listen to music. We sat at the bar and had great service. I ordered a lobster roll and he had a smash burger both were super yummy. Came on Sunday to see Tastee Nugz, and thankfully they showed up and did their job because apparently nobody else did. The band was fantastic, the view was beautiful, and we scored the perfect table with a front-row seat to both the music and the beach. Unfortunately, that's where the positive review ends. After being seated, we spent about 20 minutes wondering if our server was on vacation, hiding, or participating in some sort of scavenger hunt. We asked twice for service before someone finally appeared. The food? Let's just say I never knew chorizo nachos and fries could be so uninspiring. Those are foods that practically prepare themselves for success, yet somehow they managed to lose. Then came the adventure of obtaining basic dining necessities. No plates, no silverware, no napkins. We asked once, we asked twice, we asked a third time. Eventually, someone arrived and dramatically tossed three forks, two knives, three napkins, and five plates onto the table for 8 of us, as if we had requested a five-course tasting menu and a personal butler. Maybe this restaurant is pioneering a new concept where guests are expected to eat nachos with their bare hands and wipe them on their shirts, which happened, I honestly don't know. What makes this experience even more impressive is that they somehow managed to ruin one of the easiest setups imaginable: great weather, ocean views, live music, and a packed patio full of people ready to spend money. That's actually a remarkable achievement. There were 8 of us. We're easygoing, fun, and generous tippers. We wanted to have a great time and support the business. Instead, we got terrible service, (tall blond with curly hair and the personality of a door), and attitudes that suggested our presence was somehow an inconvenience. I understand staffing challenges, everyone does, but if you're that understaffed, don't continue seating tables and taking people's money when you can't provide even the most basic level of service. After years of dining out in Huntington Beach, I can honestly say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I'll gladly go see Tastee Nugz again. I just won't be seeing them from this restaurant. read more

Came here on a Saturday at noon for lunch. Patti Ana was our server and was super sweet and accommodating. The lobster roll was delicious! Also had the codfish tacos and fries which were very good also. On top of that, the live music was amazing! We ended up finishing our lunch on the patio and moving to the bar just to listen to more of his music (I think his name was Wais). The only thing keeping this from a one star review is our server was super nice and did her best knowing she was going to disappoint us with their brand new " no substitutions, no deletions or changing any thing on the menu at all rule" which is hard to do for kids or if you want scrambled eggs instead of sunny side up. Thankfully they took our small mods like no pistachio on pancakes and changing sausage for bacon. We were lucky tho, we saw an entire family of 5 walk out because they were a bit more strict them!! Now if some incredible food came out this may have been a better review. But the pancakes came soaked in syrup about an inch thick for a 4 year old, and the hashbrowns were almost hard as a rock and about as thin as a piece of paper! The burrito had little to no flavor and the egg sandwich was probably the only thing that looked ok but still failed to deliver. We gave this place 2 chances. The first we had crappy service with a non existent waitress for the most part, but the food was decent and at that time they didn't make it a huge issue of having to ask the kitchen if they could do 2 small requests. Wow, finally Orange County has an incredible live music venue with excellent food and spirits. This establishment barely resembles the previous, with a newly refurbished bar, stage, booths and decor. The ocean views and open floor plan are incredible, and the service is top notch. They have live music every night of the week, with some incredible bands and an impeccable sound system. Not a bad seat in the house! You can even hear the bands while sitting outside by the ocean thanks to the expansive sliding glass doors. Top notch! read more

The staff is super unfriendly. They don't serve food after 9pm and they serve beer in plastic disposable cups. Chips and guac was so bad! Burnt chips! All 10 and the most terrible tasting guacamole. I had to send it back. Water is served in old dirty wine bitters and is lukewarm. They don't even have toilet seat cover and no dispensers either! Cheapest bar/ restaurant ever. But the view is nice and you don't have to be in the restaurant to get that. I would never go back. Unless I felt like being treated like crap. Oh.
