25 Degrees HB is hands down my favorite burger spot. This is the best burger I've ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked, insanely juicy, and packed with flavor every single time. The wings are just as good, crispy, saucy, and totally addictive. The staff are great too. Friendly, attentive, and make every visit feel welcoming. Whenever I'm back home, I always make it a point to come by for a meal here. It's one of those places you crave long after you leave and it never disappoints. The space felt a bit too small I think it would have worked better as either just a bar or a restaurant, not both. The gentleman who took my family's order was standing uncomfortably close and still seemed unable to hear me clearly. He appeared frustrated that my daughter was ordering for the table, which really shouldn't have been an issue especially since he was still confused when the food arrived. Additionally, they wouldn't allow us to take the food from their hands as I was trying to make room on the table, and the older woman assisting seemed unwilling to let go. I was in Huntington Beach and I came across 25°. This place is Grrrreeeat. They have this amazing ranch that goes very well with the onion rings. They truffle fries are well seasoned and cooked the perfection. I ended up getting the smoker burger and wow, it was fantastic. The service was good. My brother and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We saw a post on IG about the food and had to try it. When we walked in we were skeptical. Looked like your typical HB dive bar but there were actually a lot of families here having dinner so we were committed to try. We ordered a drink each and for food we had two appetizers and two entrees. The spicy tuna was really good the fried eggplant was crunchy and the tuna had flavor. The wings were crunchy and flavorful, 8 in an order. The French dip smash burger was amazing the French onion soup was delicious. The last entree we ordered was the garlic noodles with salmon. Salmon cooked perfectly but didn't have a lot of seasoning but when you take a bite with the garlic noodles it was the perfect combo. Will def Come back to try other dishes. read more

We came in for a late dinner around 8pm on a Friday, they had live music that was nice but in my pets opinion was way too loud which really made it hard to talk to my date and we ended up asking the check fast after finishing eating just so we can head out and actually hear each other. We had the bacon dates- it was nice but the blue cheese flavor was too strong for me. Classic American burger was really nice and I loved that they asked the cooking level because in most cases they just make it well done and that just sucks. We got the spicy tuna, French onion and turkey cowboy burger. Food was 10/10. After all that it was also affordable considering downtown HB. We went across the street prior and got 2 drinks for 48$. There's plenty of seating as well as a bar to enjoy a cocktail or beer. I went in on New Year's Day to enjoy my first burger of the year and wow, they did not let me down. It was massive as ever. Totally couldn't finish it. The onion rings were amazing, even alone. The patty was thick and juicy and cooked medium just as I had asked. The server there was the bartender as well. This is in a nice location by the pier in HB. The food overall was good with a range of burger options. The truffle burger was well seasoned. None of the burgers, which range from $17 to over $20 come with fries. Side of garlic fries will send you back $11. What was upsetting is we asked for Ranch with the fries and without telling us they charge extra for Ranch. To be fair .for ONE (maybe a tablespoon) ranch 50 isn't a setback however the servers need to let the customers know that asking for condiments will be charged! Felt a little taken advantage of there as we ordered drinks and meals then to be charged for condiments. That's a turn off to make me not go back. The soup was a small portion and nothing special but cost $11. And a salad with chicken was $21. The location is unique, cool design. However, the men's bathroom had pee all over the walls. About two weeks ago I saw a friend on Main Street and he said it got good again , new owners or something. My lady was so excited because she loved this place. My wife and I were recently in Huntington Beach, where we met and went to high school together, celebrating Mother's Day. She did the research for dinner, which landed us at a side bar and restaurant off the main drag on 6th street near the pier. The immediate vibe was a cozy Victorian-style bar, sprinkled with taxidermy, and we weren't sure if it was just a bar with typical bar food appetizers. We decided to take a risk and were seated immediately by a friendly host. Shortly afterward, we were met by another friendly and funny food server, Tyler, who also clicked with our brand of humor like we had known each other for years. We started with drinks, and I swear I had the BEST Red Snapper (Bloody Mary) ever, made by Matthew. My wife was introduced to a free sparkling rosé wine for Mother's Day, and another new beverage, Happy Dad. (She is now a fan) My wife ordered a Caesar salad with blackened chicken, and I had a protein bowl with tuna and rice. You have to understand we are foodies, and NEVER expected such delicious food, but it was! What's more, Tyler shared that she is a fellow alumna from the same high school my wife and I attended! Really disappointing walking in for some bacon wrapped dates tonight. I expect prices to go up. But prices up, quantity down, AND quality down... that's a triple fail. Greasy, flavorless bacon, too sweet, the blue cheese was overwhelming and lacking flavor, and the "aioli" was nothing more than mayo with some stone ground mustard. Really nice time with friends at 25 degrees. It's a dark, but energetic atmosphere, and just a fun place to dine. It must be noted, very loud the night we were there, which was Frank Sinatra night. I think the volume could have been halved from the stage without losing any of the joy, and perhaps making the experience better. Although it's near the tourist strip, 25 isn't touristy, at least not yet. Mostly locals and people looking for a nice bar/restaurant. And now I've typed two paragraphs and haven't even gotten to the food. Calling 25 degrees a burger bar really undersells it. Frankly, I find the burgers to be the least interesting thing on the menu. That's not to be misunderstood as the place serves pedestrian burgers; they're quite good, but there's so much more. Allow me to elaborate. The bacon date appetizer is one of the signature dishes at 25, and for good reason. It's terrific, and I absolutely hate dates. So there you have it. The real secret is exceptional bacon that is thick, crisp, and not greasy. You will not go wrong ordering a bacon dish at 25. The kale salad had a lot of promise. Finely chopped kale is a great start, and, as mentioned, bacon only helped. I had the "champagne vin" dressing on the side, and it didn't do it for me. Somehow seemed to have a mustard taste that just didn't pair well with a strong green like kale. Nevertheless, a fine salad, and the reason why I often order dressing on the side. The Blue burger hit the spot. Wasn't sure how a Dijon aioli would work with white cheddar and blue cheese. Fortunately, it was mild enough so as not to be noticed. A fine burger for sure, and the fries, although quite salty, were yummy. Also had the award winning chili. This is a rich dish, likely thanks to the short rib, and might be one worth sharing. Nice sweetness to it and chock full of ground beef. Service was friendly, prompt, and professional. So, 25 is a great place to eat, as well as a terrific place for a beer. read more

My husband had an amazing large bowl of meaty chili. I had the New Mexico medium rare Burger with onion rings. The bartender arrived with our 2 chronic ambers before we had watched 5 minutes of the cowboys vs giants game: yeah overtime (37-37) was so fun to watch at 25 degrees with a cold pint. Our food followed and I've never seen such a mound of crunchy tasty onion rings! Massive. My burger had green chilli, cheese, avocado and the juicy meat was 1/2 inch thick-I'd say 1/3 lb. We've been going to 25 degrees at least ten years now . We visit whenever we are in Huntington Beach. We were concerned that maybe like many enterprises, the ambiance, the food, the staff would not be what we remembered. 25 degrees did not disappoint. Today, the team including serving staff, bartender, manager, Noah, and the incredible cook outdid themselves. Some of the most delicious food I've ever had! They just remodeled the place and updated the decor along with their menu. Our first time here we ordered the deviled eggs (outstanding! Just wish they would give 4 instead of 3 halves since my husband and I split it). In addition. We got the brisket (ordered by the pound and soooo yummy), the bone marrow Mac and cheese (also super tasty) and the braised short rib, recommended by our friend and honestly my favorite part of the meal. The sauce that is put on the short rib i could literally drink it's that good! Second time we went we ordered the meat platter and the bacon wrapped dates. The aioli paired with the dates totally makes the meal would highly recommend getting these. Unfortunately the smoker was having issues when we went so they initially brought us a plate of bacon instead of the meat platter but after we asked for the additional items that were supposed to be on the platter, the server comped part of our meal. Eventually they brought the meat platter out and my favorite was the the sausage! Their prices on the menu have gone up since the remodel, which is expected so I would suggest going during happy hour since a lot of the recommended items are on that menu for a little cheaper!
