    French Intervention
    Ryen B.

Staff are friendly and helpful in making menu recommendations. The Twilight Samurai sounds crazy but is well-balanced and super tasty. French Intervention was another pretty winner. A few n/a mocktails and beers on the menu, too. Entrees lean meat-heavy, but there are plenty of small plates that are great for non-meat-eaters to share. Koreano garlic buns are gooey, cheesy goodness. Gem lettuce with dates and crushed marcona almonds is better than basic greens. Loved the summer tartine- a nice slice of sourdough topped with creamy stracciatella, chopped up olives, tomatoes, and more of those crunchy almonds. The ceviche is so pretty- nice, light, bright flavors- get it! Recommend!

I'm giving 4 starts only because service wasn't that fast and it took them forever to get drinks and food . But taste of food was amazing. I had Korean tacos and asada and recommend them The menus is small but everything looks delicious. I'll come back to try more food items

the drinks were very good along with the crab salad. we also got the elote and garlic buns and i wanted to love them but the flavors did not mesh well. there was a distinct flavor in both that was just off. everything was extremely fresh and i would come back and try more items. everyone was very friendly and there was a great atmosphere

Decided to eat here as read alot of good reviews on it and it certainly did not disappoint. From the service we received from Carsyn the quality of the food, cocktails and been introduced to the executive chef CJ. Great place to visit and can high recommend

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect addition to my recent birthday celebration.

My boyfriend and I are regulars. The staff always go above and beyond (shout out to Nate behind the bar!) the drinks are delicious, and the food is tasty. Plus, the interior is well designed and there is always a good vibe.

If you are a foodie and love craft cocktails make a reservation here! It is a small place. We had amazing service, food, and cocktails. Our server helped pick drinks and offered suggestions and she was so personable. I can't wait to go back.

We went for a date night another couple! Inside was a bit loud, but nice decor and dark color tones. Our server was pleasant and had good suggestions. The Korean Bread and Taco Board were amazing and well with the price. Will go back and try other menu offerings!

Came in with my husband while we were in town for his work trip and ended up here purely because the vibes pulled us in. So glad they did. The cocktails are creative and thoughtfully made, and the bartenders were incredibly attentive. A fun, energetic spot with genuinely great drinks--we came back the next night and would absolutely come back next time we're in Scottsdale.

After watching some college football at Barstool Scottsdale, we were looking for a spot close by to grab a drink. I hopped on the trusty Yelp app and came across Liquor Pig. With a cool name like that, I was in. We walked over and were seated at the bar without a wait. Ambiance (4.5/5): Liquor Pig has a speakeasy ambiance without being a speakeasy. What I'm talking about is a dimly lit and elegant bar and restaurant. Not what I was expecting in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. There are both tables, high tops, and some seats at the bar. Service (4.5/5): I always appreciate efficient, friendly, and attentive service. That's what I experienced at Liquor Pig. The bartender greeted us right when we arrived, brought us some water, and was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We ended up having two cocktails each and he made some good recommendations. Solid in all respects. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so I was on a liquid diet. I did take a peak at the menu and it's a nice fusion menu incorporating American, Asian, and Peruvian influences. The menu was so interesting that I remarked that I would have to return to try their food at some point. Drinks (5/5): Speakeasy-quality drinks. An interesting craft cocktail menu with a nice blend of different flavor profiles and ingredients. Each cocktail on the menu has a short description which I always appreciate. Both of my cocktails were well-made and creative. The kind of spot I would come back to again and again for the quality of their cocktails. While they're definitely a cocktail bar, they have a full bar if you're looking for something different. Parking can be tough in Old Town, but I found free parking on the street a few blocks away. If you circle around, you can find a spot. Or you can pay to park in a surface lot of parking garage. Can't wait to come back to try the food!

This little bar was such a bonus find in Scottsdale. This was a warm wooden enclave that just spoke speakeasy. As we walked in, the cool music, dim lighting and rustic vibe was just so enticing. We sat at the bar and were duly well taken care of by the super friendly and attentive bartenders well versed in their craft. I absolutely love that their menu puts it all out there and notes that "each drink is crafted with intention and we are always excited to share our techniques, secrets, and stories of the drinks and the spirits that reside within them." The cocktails were quite literally TO DIE FOR... a feast of all the senses from the evocative menu descriptions, the well crafted and intentional presentation, to the welcoming off-beat flavor experience ... Our faves: Spam Folder - bourbon, tequila, cranberry, smoked jalapeno cordial, raspberry sage honey, and GOCHUJANG SPAM served in a Spam container... SHOWSTOPPER! Diamond Eyes - olive oil fat washed potato vodka, bleu cheese stuffed castelvetrano olives, house olive caper saline water cracker, creme fraiche and .... caviar .... MOVE OVER JAMES! Boule Sourdough - house cultured butter, seasonal preserves, maldon sea salt ... freshly made & classic. Perfect. The experience at this venue was beyond exceptional. Fun times with great staff, a wonderful ambiance, and exceptional food and drinks! We would make it on our hit list to revisit on another trip to Scottsdale.... Impressive. Highly recommended!

Came on Valentines Day for a 10pm reservation. The lady at the door seemed really anxious. Maybe they're not used to being people coming in. But we sat at the bar. Nathan the bartender made fabulous espresso martinis. I ordered the chicken tacos which were really good. My partner had the short rib he said it was just okay. He said it had way too much flavor. I loved the vibe very sexy bar. Has a downtown vibe.

My friend and i decided to try a new to us spot. The Liquor Pig stood out with the menu options (taco board). There were so many cool options for cocktails as well. The Golden hour with tequila was a nice twist to a regular margarita with autumn spices and apple. The apple slices were a nice pallet cleanser during the meal. My friend is a sucker for a whiskey sour and the Amber Eclipse didn't disappoint. The Burrata was recommended my our server Alex, was so fun energetic and great with suggestions. The short rib meat was so tender that it melted in the mouth. The grilled toppings and pickled onions gave it a nice balance of flavors. Grilled avocado, the baked bean mix and sauces were great! The mustard sauce was the best one to me. The place is like a high end bar... intimate setting because of the low lighting on the table and above. A bit loud for table conversation.

Excellent service and great ambiance, but sadly the drinks weren't well-balanced. I tried 3, but maybe I just didn't order well.

The atmosphere inside is relaxed yet sophisticated with an overwhelming feeling of being in on a secret no one else knows, so cool! We happened to come early enough in the day to where getting a table wasn't an issue but I would say make a reservation when coming as it is limited seating and absolutely worth it. I came with my husband and my bestie for some birthday cocktails and bites. We were actually lucky enough to have our Uber driver point out the door on the way in, I don't want to give away any secrets but keep an eye out for a door marked with the goose silhouette. It was very back-door, hush hush The cocktails were fantastic! The Clover Club was by far my favorite but everything we got was wonderful! I definitely recommend getting some bites while you're there too, we got the charcuterie board and it was plenty for the three of us. Nick took great care of us, making excellent recommendations throughout our visit but the star of the show was Miss Bella! She was so sweet right off the bat, welcoming us in and wishing me a very happy birthday! She very clearly takes a lot of personal pride in her customer care and it shows! Plus, her nails?? Gorgeous! Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

Let me start off by saying my first 2 visits were not the best. In fact, This place was sitting on a 3 star rating for a while, but my last visit picked up and made up a little. I waited to wrote this review in hopes that they would redeem themselves from my first 2 visits. The first time I came, I had Lemon Pepper Wings which came to me after a very long wait. When I finally got them, they were basically naked wings, like without any seasoning. I asked for the seasoning and one of the bussers came and brought me a cup of it. I sprinkled the wings with it but when I took a bite, they were SALTY AF!!!!! I then had to shake off all the seasoning to be able to finish them. SMH. I also ordered some Sweet Potato Fries which oddly came to me within about 3 minutes. I almost finished them before I finally got the wings. I was seated at the bar and since it was packed, I sat in the only open seat which happened to be between 2 gentlemen. The guy to my left was ready to go and when he asked for his bill, they had charged him for my stuff. Super weird because we clearly weren't together and I wasn't even talking to him the entire time. He kindly alerted them and they adjusted his bill. My second visit the next day wasn't any better. Went in with 2 coworkers for $1 oysters and Happy Hour. We ordered some cocktails which took forever again, and when we asked about them, we were told they didn't have the blended margaritas ready, so she offered us on the rocks instead. We said okay since we were thirsty on a Thursday. We tasted each other's drink and they tasted exactly the same, even though we ordered different ones. I also ordered a 2nd round of 6 oysters for myself which I never got. I had to let our server know that I never got them, so she took them off the bill. Our server wasn't very friendly and she just looked like she wanted to leave. My 3rd and latest visit is when I had the Tomahawk. My friend and I started off with oysters, then ordered their huge Tomahawk, which came with a variety of sauces and a side of French Fries. This time, we came in a little later, around 730 pm or so. It wasn't as busy, so maybe that's the perfect time to go. Service was great that last time, and our drinks were perfect. Overall, it's a cool place and the decor is pretty gnarly, but I feel like they do need to work out some kinks. Prices are average but Happy Hour is where it's at. The Tomahawk special is $99 on Mondays and Tuesdays I believe, and they come with 2 large sides (we went on a Thursday so we didn't get that special). The last visit brought up my 3 stars to a 4. I'll come again, but I hope they stay consistent!
