I also ordered an whiskey old fashioned, which was prepared in the Wisconsin style and was great. The service was also lovely. When I was ordering, the gentleman in front of me explained that he had been coming here for 30 years and it's the same guy behind the bar--amazing. Also, I totally accidentally left my purse on the patio (I only had one drink--just a complete oopsie moment). I didn't realize until the next morning. On our most recent trip (the last week and a half) - I had the ribeye special with the loaded baked potato and coleslaw. It was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I left a few toppings off my loaded potato - l had butter, bacon and grilled onions. It was fluffy and delish. They have a nice menu. You can ride your ATV or snow mobile right up to the building or your John Deere tractor (like a customer had when we were visiting ). Tons of Forest service roads/trails all around the area.
