I will be honest. When we checked in, I thought the front desk clerk was hateful and quite lazy. I was skeptical about our decision to stay here. We went to our room, and it was less than desirable. We spoke to the manager the next morning, and she went out of her way to accommodate us. She listened to our concerns, saw them first hand and offered to change our room. Once we looked at the new room, it was very clean and had no issues. I am thankful for her exceptional customer service. Aside from the original clerk and the outdoor, poolside lounge chairs needing updated, this was a lovely stay. The pool area was great and the fire pit area is very nice. read more

We were down the first week of August 2020 for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We were apprehensive because of the COVID situation but we were very pleased with our accommodations. The rooms are sanitized between each guest. But I still brought wipes and high touch areas each day. The staff wore masks and the guests were required to wear masks inside. Daily cleaning service has been suspended and that was fine with us. The room was supplied with plenty of towels and washcloths to get us through a couple of days. But you could call and have more items delivered if needed. Breakfast has been suspended and the workout room is closed for COVID. There are 4 exits to the building so there is easy in and out and parking. I can't wait to go back! read more

Absolutely LOVED this hotel... and you will too! My husband and I booked this hotel after finding a good deal on it for our honeymoon. The photos online looked great and we had our expectations set pretty high! We got to our hotel rather late at night, but the front desk staff was prompt and quickly got us checked in. The lobby is beautiful! Very country/rustic, complete with a fireplace. The room was just a beautiful! Plenty of space, rustic furniture, comfy beds... and the shower was the BEST hotel shower I've ever seen. It's a big walk in shower with tiled walls and floors... it's beautiful! It's the kind of shower that you literally never want to leave. I was floored at just how nice the room was! My husband and I splurged a bit and got a balcony. The view of the balcony wasn't bad at all. Our balcony overlooked the outdoor fire pits and pool. My ONLY complaint about our stay here is that while the breakfast was good, I just wish they changed it up a bit. It was the same food everyday. Eggs, ready-made omelets, pork sausage, turkey sausage, biscuits, gravy, breads, muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal. Granted, they had a decent assortment of food, but I would've loved some bacon! Overall, we absolutely enjoyed every second of our stay here! We will absolutely be booking this place again for our next trip to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area! read more

We stayed 3 nights, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The deco was pretty. The shower was tiled with a tiled bench, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Had mini fridge and microwave all was really clean. Could walk to restaurant, general store and ice cream shop. We really enjoyed our stay. read more

This is a newly renovated Hotel converted into a Lodge. As soon as you walk into the front door into the atrium it's beautiful ambience of gas fireplaces and a country theme. Some of the rooms also have gas fireplaces and hand carved furniture. The country theme of the early nineteen hundreds of Horse and Buggies and paintings and artifacts are throughout the lodge. There are many fine restaurants within walking distance and a high end Tanger Outlet Mall right across the street. The lodge is very clean and the staff is very attentive for your needs, they also offer a complimentary breakfast which also has seating outside by the pool area with gas fireplaces and comfortable furniture. This is a place I would recommend when visiting Sevierville Tennessee. read more

Very nice hotel. We stayed here in May 2020 and they were taking all necessary precautions for COVID-19. Staff were wearing masks and there were hand sanitizing areas available. There was no daily room service or breakfast provided, but that did not impact our stay negatively. The rooms were extremely clean, the walk in shower was a nice perk. The outdoor area with the fire pits was very nice and relaxing. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen was right next door and within walking distance. The hotel was also right across the street from the Tanger Outlet Mall. Everything was wonderful. We are staying here again for Thanksgiving. read more

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We've stayed here several times and had a wonderful experience. Up until this last time. Between the neighbor above us stomping all hours of the night... constantly, problems with the AC where it sounds like a jack hammer every 15 minutes, and the lights from the parking lot blaring through our window we didn't get much sleep at all. We did speak with maintenance and front desk employee about the air conditioning but it was not fixed. When complaining to the front desk, their response was "yeah." Facility is overall very nice. The front desk staff is very helpful and informative. Room was very clean when we checked in. The cleaning staff was just okay when servicing the room, beds were left unmade and bathroom wasn't cleaned daily but fresh towels and wash clothes were provided. We had a very peaceful stay here! Since walking in, the front desk clerk was very nice, greeted with a smile, and a problem-free checkin. When we arrived in our room, we entered a very cute room. The beds were in my top 5 softest beds I've ever slept on. The pool looked nice. We didn't check it out because it was 40 something degrees outside. The water slide looked really fun! Its gotten worse here at the lodge and front desk "old guy" wants to go outside to settle the concerns. Rude, ignorant, in attentive and self-concerned. Be warned, stay away from Lodge at 5 oaks.Wow, for $200 per night rooms are not refreshed. Right now, low on TP, no ice bucket liner, bath trash is full, soap is half used and towels MAY be usable for morning shower, only Our Lord knows for certain. When I inquired, met with "sorry for your luck" attitude and NO concessions offered. Again, $200 per night, I believe this is unsat. read more

This hotel is simply put, AMAZING! I am a hotel snob to say the least. My husband found this hotel as we are season pass holders to Dollywood. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm "welcome". The lobby and surrounding area are always so clean, with white linen couches, a fire place, and a smile! Very convenient to all the attractions, and there is a very quick way to get to Dollywood! The check in process is extremely seamless. The staff is excellent and very friendly. No matter who you see they always ask you "How are you today?" With a smile on their faces. The rooms are EXCELLENT, hard wood floors that are always spic and span. There is absolutely no evidence of any other guests staying before yourself. The beds are so comfortable, and you get a GREAT nights sleep. The extra pillows they give you are a great perk. The bathroom is just as great, granite counter tops, and large tiled shower. (I so happy there are not bathtubs!) My kids love being able to work the hot and cold without any trouble. In the morning you are welcomed to a wonderful breakfast, today was eggs, scrambled or a veggie omelet, pork or Turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels, milk, cereal, yogurt with fresh fruit toppings and granola. The coffee, and juices are just grand. When you leave you are told to "have a great day, and enjoy." We had an incident where my son left his iPad on the room. While we were at Dollywood my husband received a call, and then I received a call. The staff had found it and was holding it for us in the managers office, for safe keeping. As we left Dollywood we swung right over and picked it up. They offered us coffee and asked if we had a great day. 1 million percent I would recommend this hotel to stay at when you come into town. Look for another place. Its not worth the money. Their advertising of the room is deceptive. The bathroom is very difficult to get in to since the commode is right in front of the door and is very small. The balcony we were charged for having, overlooks the parking lot with a terrible view since the rail is at eye level. We stayed a week and they wouldn't come in to the room so we had to take care of our towels, didn't refill the items we were out of, didn't take our trash and we had to take care of ourselves and retrieve more of what we needed. We had to take out our trash and go to the front desk every day to get the things we needed. the price of a breakfast was included, yet they did not provide any breakfast of any kind. In fact, I was told that "some are offering cereal and stuff, but we aren't doing that". At $139 and $159 per night, they should have provided SOMETHING; even packaged items, fresh fruit, packaged oatmeal, Danish, ANYTHING. They didn't even offer a discount rate for the lack of the breakfast bar that was supposed to be provided. We were told that "nobody is doing breakfast bars due to sanitation issues", however, when we went out to eat, MANY places had "all you can eat" bars and other hotels were advertising free breakfasts. I think this place is only trying to make up for lost money due people not traveling and staying here. they don't have to worry about that. We will never stay here again. Customer service was horrible as well. I will never stay at one of these hotels again. All we got for that money was a place to sleep. We could have spent our anniversary vacation at a much better place, run by honest people, for WAY less than nearly $1,000!!! Just for a place to sleep. read more

We had a wonderful time at The Lodge at Five Oaks. Kim was especially kind to my grandchildren, and the entire staff was very welcoming. The pool was just the right size for the grandchildren and they loved the slide. The rooms were immaculate and we had cleaning service every day. We stayed here for three nights just after Christmas. Everybody was very friendly, especially housekeeping. They spoke with us every morning as if we were family. This was really genuine as the entire staff seemed eager to please and ensure each guest had a pleasant stay. The entire lodge was clean, the breakfast was very good, and the room was comfortable. I highly recommend the Lodge at Five Oaks if you are visiting the Pigeon Forge area. read more

We stayed here as part of a time share "deal". We do not vacation much and were expecting a nice room with a view. The room was a huge disappointment. When I asked if we could upgrade, the girl at the front desk told us that we would have to pay full price. No upgrades. From the time we arrived most of the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere as great. We checked into our room the first day and left and didn't return until late that evening. When I woke up the next morning I had a few welts on my shoulder, knees. I assumed it was an allergic reaction. However, the next morning when woke up I had a few more and they were very red. When we checked out of the hotel I spoke discreetly to Vanessa and David who were both very nice and assured me that they would have the room checked and let me know what is found. If they found anything they would refund me. They didn't ask to see the pictures that I took of my bites even though I have them. We checked out and within 2 hours they called and told us that they had the room inspected with a dog who sniffs the rooms etc., for bugs and such. They found nothing. It was suggested that maybe it was a spider bite. I wanted to love my stay but unfortunately we won't be back to the Lodge at Five Oaks. I use to work in the hotel service and so I understand that these things happen. I also really did feel like Vanessa was sincere in her concern for me. This is the reason for the 3 star. read more

Disappointing! We expected this to be a new hotel...it is not. They have remodeled an old hotel, which, in my opinion, missed the mark. It's kinda creepy in the rooms area, narrow hallways, small windows. We chose not to stay after we went up to the room. The hotel refused to refund. While we have always held the Five Oaks name in great regard, this was not a good experience. read more
