Hair stuck to the bathroom door (not ours)

I don't even know where to begin. I trusted all of the good reviews I read on this hotel which is why I booked a room here. The room was so dirty and not maintained at all. I felt like I was in the 70's. There was dirt and dust built up in each corner of the room. The floor made our feet turn black. The toilet seat would shift when you sit on it; I thought I was going to fall off of it. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable!! I think every spring in the mattress was broken. When I laid down on the bed I sunk a good foot into it. When I woke up after the first night I could cry; I was so sore. There was hair that did not belong to us stuck to the bathroom door. There was hair hanging from the balcony over our room door that did not belong to us. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. I don't expect much from a hotel breakfast, but typically I will eat it anyways... I walked into the breakfast area and walked right back out. I tried booking a room at other hotels, but because it was spring break everything was booked in the area. The worst hotel experience of my life. I do not recommend this place.

Nice hotel. Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis. 3 levels of comfortable rooms. Stayed in the recently renovated mid-priced rooms. Each room has blow dryer, iron and ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Continental breakfast was excellent! The dining room could easily be a nice restaurant Displayed above the door in the dining room are numerous awards for tasteful decorations.. Used a coupon from the various travel coupon books to receive a discount. Military discount available off full rate. Will stay here again.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel. Have stayed here before but never in a 2 queen room over the pool. I've stayed in rooms with queen beds before and I have to say these were the smallest QUEENS I've ever seen. When we checked in and saw this I went back to the office, inquired about the size and was told that was the standard size of a queen. Oh well. We did arrive a little early and had to wait because our room wasn't clean. My question is this. What part of the room were we waiting on to have cleaned? There was thick dust on the night stand between the beds, some kind of yucky crumbs all across the dresser, not to mention the top of the tv nor the small table in the room hadn't been wiped off. Obviously this room hadn't been occupied in a while or their staff had missed it. Here's the worst part. Tuesday night as we're packing to leave my Mom spilled water on the floor so she gets a couple of napkins wipes it up and they're black with dirt!!! Obviously the floor has not seen a mop in quite a while. So I decide to look at the bottom of my slippers I've been wearing the last few days!! I think the pictures speak for themselves These were clean when I put them on Sunday night!!! What happened to all the cleaning, sanitizing and special care taken because of Covid-19? I wish I had taken a picture of the napkins too. DISGUSTING!!!

Love this hotel. We have visited this establishment multiple times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. Discount to repeat customers. I'm also adding pics from our stay the other night. Last minute decision to stay in the area leaving us to find other accommodations for lodging. We ended up canceling our reservation at the other hotel after finding mold on the ceiling (other hotel reviewed as well). We came back to Willow Brook Lodge in hopes they had something/anything. So thankful they let us stay in their hotel room/apartment that sleeps 10 at a discount since it was already 11pm and there was only the two of us. Otherwise we probably had to settle for another shabby hotel.

View from the picnic table next to the indoor pool

We had a fantastic 5 night stay. The employees are all very friendly and welcoming. The room is huge and the beds are comfortable. There is an outdoor heated pool with a waterslide and a hot tub, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub, which are open late. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty. The location is convenient to food, entertainment, etc. We are very happy with our choice!

I went in hopeful and we left completely convinced. This place didn't just meet expectations, it blew straight through them. The Inn is Christmas 24/7, 365 days a year, and somehow it never feels cheesy or forced which is kinda the magic here. What could easily have been a kitschy, Vegas-style Pigeon Forge gimmick is elevated into something genuinely special by the level of service and attention to detail. From the moment you check in, you realize this isn't just a theme -- it's a fully realized experience tucked into the Appalachian Mountains. The service alone deserves serious recognition. Every interaction felt intentional, warm, and unhurried. Staff members weren't just polite, they were present, attentive without hovering, joyful without being performative. If Michelin gave Key Awards for hotels here, this place would be a lock based on service alone. Then there's the feeling of it all. Staying here feels like waking up on Christmas morning at your grandmother's house.. that safe, cozy, nostalgic joy where nothing is rushed and everything is allowed to be wonderful. You can roam the hotel in your pajamas, and no one looks at you twice. It's not weird, it's encouraged. You just roll out of bed, head downstairs for biscuits and gravy, hang out with Santa, drink your body weight in hot apple cider, and let every worry slowly melt away. The outdoor hot tub seriously sealed the deal for me. Steam rising into the mountain air, lights glowing, Christmas music softly humming in the background.. it's the kind of moment that makes you forget what day it is, what month it is, and why you ever let yourself get stressed in the first place. This is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and not just because of the theme. The Inn at Christmas Place succeeds because it understands something simple and rare: atmosphere means nothing without genuine hospitality. Here, you get both in abundance. If you love Christmas, travel, or just the idea of feeling like a kid again, this is an easy recommendation. Not just for the holidays, but any time of year you need a reminder of how good it feels to slow down, be cozy, and let yourself enjoy something unapologetically joyful.

I was offered a different room, but then the head housekeeper said my room would be available in 10 minutes. Yay for communication! We had a king room. There was a light-blocking curtain that pulled between the sitting area and the bed so that there was nominal privacy if someone was sleeping on the sofa bed, but as there was only one TV and no actual door dividing the sleeping areas, you couldn't really watch TV after the kids go to bed without disturbing them. The room had a microwave, dishwasher, mid-sized refrigerator, and kitchen sink. It was convenient to be able to keep drinks in the fridge or have the option to reheat leftovers. The bathroom was recently renovated, but the water pressure in the shower was unusually poor. One of the nicest features of the hotel is the outdoor pool that has a decent slide and also some water features for the kids. As the hotel is on a hill, adults can appreciate the views of the surrounding mountains while watching over their splashing kids. There's also an indoor poor, but it's a standard pool, no cool features. There's a free breakfast included with the room. It's pretty basic, usually DIY waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt and a single egg and meat offering. The orange juice was awful. Only apples for fruit. However, it was convenient and free, so I can't complain too much. My only gripe is that housekeeping isn't daily/automatic. They'll clean your room if you have a longer stay, or if you call and ask them to come and clean. I guess the days of daily maid service are done for this class of hotel. We were there only 2 nights, so I suppose it wasn't a huge deal, but I might look to a fancier hotel in the future because I really do like having my bed made up and towels tidied when I'm on vacation.

The bathroom had a vent with tons of rust, the paint was chipped all over the walls. Beat up and scuffed furniture. The patios were sad and depressing. The patio door was broken and did not lock. The view is "sad creek with creepy parking lot." The hotel also gives a complimentary margarita coupon to guests. We do not drink alcohol. When I went to the bar I asked the manager if we could trade it in for a non-alcoholic margarita or NA beer and they said no, only alcoholic margaritas. How ridiculous! Not even a freaking mocktail margarita! After staying at the Gatlinburg resort property this was a huge let down. We have since learned they are two different franchise owners. Suffice to say, we were going to stay two nights. We paid for two and after one night we left and booked a room at the Gatlinburg location instead. That's how bad it was.

They have outdoor balconies overlooking the shopping area or river - which was great for seeing nature (geese, beavers, herons). Facilities are nice with a good sized gym and large rooftop pool and hot tub overlooking the Ferris wheel. The roof has plenty of lounge chairs and the chill bar with great staff that will bring your orders (food included) to your chair. The hotel is pet-friendly and has an indoor fireplace-house restaurant and bar (Fins) with an outdoor patio. It also has an onsite Starbucks. It definitely delivers on the cozy atmosphere and river views -- and yes, there are plenty of geese to remind you you're by the water! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.
