Call me a glutton for punishment, for frequenting this place (off 'n on) for the past FIVE years hoping that SOMEDAY the service here would improve. Sadly, the service has always been HORRIBLE. From day ONE, I've been tipping the bartenders at this place roughly double my tab, in the hopes that I would get at least marginally better service my next time around (my way of flipping them the middle finger for bad service)... it never worked. Mind you, this is FIVE years of bad service from more or less the SAME bartenders; for some reason, they seem to not have much turnover. Just some examples of bad service: - It takes them an inordinate amount of time to acknowledge you, even when they're not busy; - On the flip side, they'll shower you with attention if you're one of their buddies; - When they finally decide to grace you with their service, it's like they're doing you a favor; - They're incapable of even a tiny bit of small-talk, again, even when not busy; - I could go on and on... I'm DONE with this place. In case you're wondering, I've always been super-nice to the bartenders and have NEVER tried to hit on them. read more

Have been here a couple time. The first was excellent. The $12 new york was probably the best I've ever had. Drinks where prompt and service was pretty good. Second time back, however, left something to be desired. I ordered my drinks and a steak as soon as I walked in. Drinks were prompt but after about 35 min my steak still had not materialized. When asked the waitress said the order had been canceled. I cashed out my drinks and left..... hungry. Mcdonalds is right down the street. read more

For a local hidden neighborhood tavern, the steak specials can't be beat. And they're prepared just as you ask. Service is outstanding!

The atmosphere is lacking but the food is awesome and beer is cheep.

This place is not worth stepping into. It used to be awesome with great bar staff and food specials but took a turn for the worst when the current owners took over. Customer service is not their cup of tea and they actually don't even offer it there. In many cases, you can't even substitute something on your plate (for example, sausage instead of bacon) even if you're willing to pay extra. They have a "no" mentality. Except when you're handing them your money. Woman owner has berated employees in front of customers on more than one occasion, making everyone within earshot feel extremely awkward. Steak night is pretty good and that's about the only thing I'd recommend at this establishment worth mentioning. read more

I went here for lunch. Ordered at 12:09 pm no food at 12:25. I told the server that I needed to leave and could she change my order so I could get it to go. She did, but didn't arrive until 12:40. It wasn't what I ordered, she was going to have it remade, but I was out of time. She then proceeded to accuse me of being rude and that I shouldn't expect my food to be ready quickly because it was a bar. First time I'd been there and I wouldn't go back if you paid me. Moral is if you don't have all day to wait for lunch don't go here. read more

The cook is awful. Can't cook eggs. Burnt ham, potatoes. Took 1hour to get breakfast. Not coming back until a new cook is hired.

From the outside, the restaurant looks like it might be a dive tavern. When you enter, the inside isn't super special either, just a standard tavern. The wait staff; however, were excellent. Add in the food was really good; my steak done just perfect, the wife's taco salad she raved over, and we took home some popcorn shrimp for another family member. Prices are good, lots of choices, and very tasty. We will be coming back in the near future. They have pull tabs, dart boards, and a pool table. From the signs, it appears they do karaoke on certain nights. read more

Just got back to the hotel after a night at this local Tavern. A bit younger crowd for me. The music was OK, and the steak dinner wasn't bad. I was kind of harassed a bit by an older drunk gentleman, but the bartender was helpful and pulled him away. The drinks weren't over priced and the taxi back to the hotel was cheap. (Better than a DUI, except I'm from out of town on business with a rental car) can't risk driving the rental. Tired, going to bed. Thanks for the drinks log cabin. read more

We went on Friday night for a parents night out ( no kids)! Its a bar and grill and people have been telling me for years to go there for the steak. Cause we always have the kids with us, we've never been. The friday night special was The Steak (16oz) for $8.95! It came with baked potato or fries a side salad. All I can say is WOW!! Havent had a steak that good in a while! And for 8.95...come on, you cant beat that. The service was good, interesting little bar. But I would come back 100 times just for the steak! If you dont have kids or dropped them off for a night, then make sure you visit this place! read more

Can't find a better steak anywhere. I was in Vegas at Craftsteak last year and their $50 ribeye couldn't even compare. We go in often and the bartenders (who are not salty) are very nice and recognize people who frequent. When we've had bad days Log Cabin is the place for us for good drinks and food even when it's not steak night. Bingo was surprisingly really fun. read more

I used to like this bar a lot. Had a previous review with 5 stars. It is a biker bar and there have been some comments about it. I ne'er had a problem with them and always commended them on breaking up any fights immediately. Last night though I had someone talk about my husband's MOS and state that he just sits in the FOB all day and doesn't do anything on deployment. My husband lied to me if he said he does anything. Then said I'm a hoe because I'm out without my husband. It was pretty ridiculous. Needless to say they always have the biker's back regardless of who started the argument. So at closing time they asked me to leave because I guess he wanted to follow me home or something because they wouldn't let him leave until I did. It's a great bar for karaoke and Thursday nights have $2 wells. I just recommend not talking to the bikers at all. Things can go from normal to out of hand in an instant. read more

Save your money and go somewhere else. The food is decent. The drinks are OK but a overpriced unless you are drinking some thing on special. The service is HORRIBLE. I have tried it several times and it is just getting worse. I ordered the special and it took over an hour to get my food. The servers rarely make it over to the table. I will pay a few more dollars for decent service. There is a couple in there that might be owners, that never do anything. SKIP this place since the service sucks. read more

I signed up on Yelp just to review this place. If you are looking for mediocre (at best) service and have no taste buds but just want a place to watch football, this is the bar for you. I took two bites of a breakfast and couldn't finish it. Everything is from the freezer, and we're not talking Costco quality. No taste whatsoever. Understaffed, and the bartender/waitress/busgirl spends more time stacking glasses than tending to customers. If you want to spend your visit hunting down every drink and menu, and eat food with no taste in a bleak and basic atmosphere, come to the Log Cabin. First off I love dive bars. So if that is your type of place to go this is it!!! Not only was the bartender nice the karaoke new what she was doing. I requested a song I couldn't remember the name of and she knew which song I was talking about. If you enjoy singing and just relaxing this is a nice kick back type of place! read more

off the beaten path a little outta the way, but good parking. Although half the parking lot is like dirt/rock it works out ok. It is always busy in a good way, lots of people which makes for a good night out. The steaks are great and always have been cooked perfect which is hard to do and get the right medium steak pink-ness. Bingo is fun and with some nifty prizes and gotta to love karaoke, unfortunately though the only down fall is the dj, his abilities are lacking and doesn't really seem to know how to get the party started with good music selections.
