adorable little pub on the west bay marina. perfect deck for eating or getting drinks, the vibe inside was great too. windows on every side so not a bad seat in the house. the food was so good, I got the club sandwich and my mom got the ruben. house made thousand island for fry sauce was delicious. our service was very sweet as was the rest of the staff we interacted with. definitely coming back to try some other things on the menu (which is huge)

Rustic waterfront location, up on still covered by mussels during king tide/low tide.

After eight years, living in an extreme hellish northeast Wisconsin, we just returned the other dates of Washington state, and while searching for our next home, we decided to stop at this fine waterfront restaurant during historic king tide low tide. It's been years since I had fresh seafood so we ordered calamari and pan fried oysters and they tasted absolutely awesome! The service was superb, friendly servers, quick service, the food quality was excellent, the prices were cheaper than they were eight years ago, but that's the case everywhere, thanks to the crooked moron in the White House, no fault of these establishments. We look forward to going back and trying some other seafood dishes in the not too distant future.

I read reviews about slow service but holy moly. Two people. Ordered as soon as we sat down. Two other tables that sat down after us were served before us. It was probably close to a 50 minute wait for our food, and it wasn't a particularly busy night. All the waitstaff are college kids, which is fine, but things seemed to move at a snails pace, and our server would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. My wife had the Seafood Sauté, which was good. I had the Mac and cheese with crab and artichoke, which was good until I bit down on moldy bread. Overall, it just feels like whoever owns this establishment could inspire more care into staff that's attentive and kitchen staff that cares.

First off, the address listed on Yelp, Google, and on their own website is WRONG. The correct address is: 2100 W Bay Dr NW, Olympia, WA 98502 The staff were nice and friendly and the place is very cute. It's a very nice place. However, the food was garbage. My wife ordered a crab melt and it lacked crab. It was just a big glob of cheese. She did not finish it. I started with a cup of Clam Chowder. The clam chowder was super thick and all dried out. It's was sitting around for a while. For the main course I ordered the Prime Rib with a Shrimp Skewer add on. The Shrimp Skewer was Excellent. However, the Prime Rib tasted "old". Not to mention it tasted like it was reheated in a microwave or something. It was totally gross. I ended up leaving it. If you want old reheated food in a nice ambient place then come to Tugboat Annie's. Otherwise save both your money and stomachs and pass this place up.

The reviews are not giving this place what it deserves! I was in town for work and we met there for dinner after work! A great location and tasty food! Get the seafood sauté with sweet potato tots!

My family had a nice meal here. It is a fun place with lots to see hanging on the walls and we were seated by the window that overlooked the boats on the water. Service was excellent even though they were quite busy. They had a wide variety on the menu and I had the clam chowder and the crab cakes which came with fries. The crab cakes tased good along with the sauce. Would have liked more crabmeat in the cakes but the taste was good. We all enjoyed our meal and service.

    Very thick chowder

Looks like they have an outdoor patio as well, it was under construction today. Bet it's amazing when it's up and running. Our waitress was patient and so nice. Man oh man was our food fantastic! We started with the bacon wrapped scallops and the crab and artichoke dip. 10/10 artichoke dip large Elvis's of crabs fb great flavor! I'm not a fan of scallops but my husband and one of our friends said 8/10 maybe a little springy texture wise but still very very good. I, along with one of our friends ordered the halibut and French fries basket. Omg! It was so good! Love we had the option of beer battered or panko crumbs. We went with beer battered. The French fries are double fried I think and holy lord so freaken good! Cole slaw was also tasty. Husband ordered the Drunken Chef, which was a mix of rice, mushrooms, shrimp, scallops and salmon and super saucy! He loved it! Everyone tried it. Our other friend got the wedge salad and a bowl of clam chowder which was very very good! This will be a regular hang out for sure. They have a little area to buy charms and oyster ornaments! Very cute! We might return tomorrow that's how much we liked it! 10/10 go give them a try!

The food was just alright, but I was disappointed with what I got and was expecting more quality for the price. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Who and I was given a plate with a small handful of still-crunchy sliced bell peppers and zucchini that seemed that they had been in contact with heat for all of 30 seconds next to a pile of potatoes that were cold from sitting. The chicken breast was just meh, not very thick, not very moist, not very seasoned, not very much of it. Small amount of sliced prosciutto on top. I just think for $30 this was a ripoff by at least 1/3 of the price; I would expect an actual chicken cordon bleu at that price instead of this quick-service deconstruction. The blackberry mojito I ordered for I think $15 tasted pretty good but was missing the presence and flavor of any alcohol so there was no complexity, just ended up being a $15 refreshing fruit drink. My husband ordered an appetizer (Sirloin Diablo) for $27 and got a small bowl of steak tips submerged in a barely spicy (Diablo?) cajun cream sauce like a soup surrounded by some painfully plain, thin, unseasoned, boring grilled bread. It's not bad or very good by any means and just wasn't his thing, but charging almost $30 for that? At their prices and the way they are presented I was expecting a really satisfying dinner but walked away feeling like I would've been just as happy eating some standard fare at a local diner for half the cost.

I gave a 5 star rating a year ago although visited several times since then. I can't figure out what happened. Did the chef (s) move on, or pass away and a crew from a local fast food restaurant was hired as a replacement? I ordered the meal with filet, crab leg, lobster (portion?) with baked potato and Death by Peaches for dessert. I have had crab legs here before. This had been boiled until there was no flavor, and very ittle meat. And that was the selling point for me. The lomaster was fine but the sauce wasn't hollandaise as the bartender said. A watery, mustardy sauce. Not terrible but not very good either. Ordered filet medium, came well done. I took it home hoping to add to chili but too tough to eat. Took the baked potato home to save room for dessert and it was good. The real slap in the face was the dessert. I have ordered Death by peaches over and over and was never disappointed. What arrived was a heavy, dry, dense cake without much flavor, some peaches and a small scoop of ice cream. It needed a lot of ice cream or peaches to get through it. I left most of it. I don't mind splurging and I have without complaint but this was such a a disappointment. Most of the patrons were older and I had to wonder if management feels their expectations are lower? I will close by stating that wait staff and bartenders are top notch. Including Isiah from yesterday. Above and beyond even with a busy crowd. Never a complaint about the service. You are no longer my go to restaurant that I can depend on. Oh, had two drinks that were fine but the wine list is meh.

The Food choices this time were excellent as we had the full spectrum of small meals, Twilight dinner 3 course meals or the dinner menu. Most of us (being a party of 5) chose the dinner menu the others chose the Twilight menu. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium which was delightfully perfect with the most delicious flavoring of Gorgonzola truffle butter, port demi sauce and pared with champ potatoes with blistered cherry tomatoes and baby asparagus. Yum going back for more of that, compliments to the "Big Chef" as we were told who prepared it. Our server was Jodie who was really nice and an excellent waitress. My husband said his Top Sirloin from the Twilight dinner was tough, but he enjoyed the tenderness of my Filet that I gave him a bite of, as well as did my grandson a true steak connoisseur. My husband enjoyed the Ceasar salad starter and the Burnt Cream dessert, whereas I enjoyed the Bailey's Irish Chocolate Mousse bites that I shared with our daughter. I had my own birthday cake that I shared with everyone, so everyone got a few bites of all the choices. The Ambiance was ok, it would have been perfect, but the A/C noise made it hard to converse over the table with each other unless you were seated next to or directly across from each other. The restaurant was pretty busy, yet the parking was fairly open since Farmers Market and nearby businesses were closed by dinner time. I thank the manager for going the extra mile to have a chat with the front reception who made us wait an hour and a half on Mother's Day to instead being seated at our table upon arrival this time around. Thank you for asking us to try you again, as we were delightfully surprised with the difference it made. Now I do apologize for not taking photos of the meals before we began as I promised our daughter and I to take, but it was so delicious looking we just dove in. We decided to do Anthony's weekday three course dinner for $35 special. The special is 3 courses M-F before 5:30pm. We arrived around 5pm and the hostess let us know that to get the special we just had to be seated by 5:30pm. It was a beautiful sunny day so we opted to sit on the patio. It was wonderful to look out on the sound and soak in the sunshine. Our waitress brought out warm bread and butter to start. We then each chose 1 option from each course for our dinners. My husband had the Caesar salad starter, portobello mushroom entree, and crime brûlée for dessert. I had the shrimp cocktail starter, smoked salmon fettuccine entree, and the chocolate mousse dessert. It was all delicious and I enjoyed the leisurely courses, it gave us ample time to chat and enjoy the views. I would say the fettuccine could have benefited from a little more lemon. I asked for a couple extra lemon wedges and it was much improved to balance the creaminess of the sauce. For 3 courses at Anthony's, $35 is a pretty great price. I probably wouldn't opt for 3 courses on the normal menu, and I don't usually go to Anthony's since it's pricey. However, the weekday dinner special is a great deal and I would definitely return for this deal!!
