I was going to give this place 3 stars for the following reasons: 1. The salmon is cut up so thick you only get like 4 pieces of it in a scoop. 2. They have crab meat and avocado as a protein option, which means the avocado is free, BUT it takes away from how many scoops of fish you get. This is an issue because of concern #1. I'm used to crab meat being free as a side that you order with the veggies and sauces. 3. My request for medium sauce of shoyu was more like a heavy and it was just too overpowering. Why I have 4 stars: The poke rice and sauce tasted better on the second day. The fish was fresh and delicious. One of the better Poke joints I've been to! Was driving past this location on my way to a wedding and decided to stop by! The price for a regular was amazing! It also came with 3 protein choices. Unfortunately, they were out of salmon belly in the middle of the day I ended up getting Octopus, Tuna, and Salmon with some Alohot sauce and the house sauce! Portions are decently big. I've been a few times for lunch and always satisfied with the food and service. Today there was only one employee out front during the 12pm lunch rush hour with a long line of customers. Kudos to her for showing up on time and while she was probably overwhelmed with how long the line was growing with no other employees in site, she remained friendly and accommodating and got through the line as quickly as possible. i've never had an experience like the one i've had tonight! i wanted poke so bad!!!!!!! but usually they get all 5 stars but the girl that served me tonight (dark hair, piercings, about 5'3) dropped my raw fish on counter and placed it back in my bowl. cross contaminating rushing the other workers who are taking the time whether or they are closing! mixing w her hands! using her hands to scoop my extra ingredients of course with gloves but touching multiple sides. when it came to my dry toppings she scooped them what fell off the top of a furikake lid onto my bowl w a spoon! that's not even the END! i make it to my car to check out my food and it's her HAIR in my seafood!!! SMH since i didn't leave right away i walked it back inside and didn't take an images when returning to her a refund she pulls the hair out acting like it's nothing and she'll make another bowl! Time to update a review for this establishment! Been coming here for years and is hands down my favorite poke place in the area. Everything tastes fresh and is consistently good. Highly recommend the bootea rice as the base for your bowl. Proteins include spicy crab meat, salmon, tuna, shrimp, salmon belly, spicy tuna. For non seafood lovers, there's avocado and tofu. All the sauces are pretty tasty, but my go-tos are the lava u and jalapeño bizness :) They're open from 12-8pm daily. Employees are wearing face masks, and I think customers are also required to wear them upon entry. Hand sanitizer is available. A small section is open/available for dine in customers. read more

i ordered through ubereats from this spot and got a large bowl with all their toppings and all their proteins except the scallops. I paid extra for the extra proteins. I received my order in 2 bowls, one with rice and 1 protein and like half the toppings. Then my second bowl is just all of the proteins mixed together in the sauce???? I had gotten spicy tuna and regular tuna, how am i supposed to differentiate the two if it's all mixed up? How do i even know if i got all the different proteins when it's presented to me like this? Due to COVID I placed an order online to pick up at a later time. I ordered their spicy crab bowl and I must say it was very good. In the IE, a good affordable poke spot is very hard to come by. QUALITY That being said, this place has really great quality. ORDERING PROCESS Both online and in person ordering processes were easy! Cut off time for ordering online is 30 minutes before they close (Saturday, 7:30 pm cut off time for online food orders). Estimated orders take ~15 minutes from when it was placed. In person, not too crowded on a Saturday night, about 10-15 minutes with line (1 person ahead). Service is great.
