This is a neighborhood place just like back east , nestled in a neighborhood on the corner hidden from the strip mall garbage. When you come here, and you better, do not be distracted by the path to tasty food. It is in an older neighborhood with minimal parking but fantastic personalities, service & FOOD! Upon entry it's a time warp for us who grew up in a time that was better. This is a good Olde Fashion deli that sells great food with amazing service. Franks is a family place. Back to the real topic... Meatball Sandwich; when you ask what is the cheese that use & the owner is educated on quality be states "Provolone on the bottom, Mozzarella on top" just know you're in the right place! The flavor is top notch, added some cherry peppers to spice it up just right, bell peppers & onions are standard. Took it to go, drove about 20 minutes to where I needed to be, the aroma was teasing me, the concern of the sandwich being cold or soggy rang in my mind while driving the 17 to the 10.. I was nervous, anxious & salivating.... Opening the togo container to see the glorious sandwich! Last time we went to Frank's they didn't have it on the menu that day. It comes with cheese ( I chose Provolone ) , lettuce, tomato, and mustard instead of mayo. The steak is Pork Butt ( a shoulder cut) . I loved it. It was sooo moist, tender, and flavorful. Another sandwich for my repertoire . My friend had a Meatball sandwich. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.

I grew up in LA eating at places like Langer's, Canter's, and Nate 'n Al's, so I'm used to pastrami that has a really distinctive, peppery, savory flavor and those crunchy deli pickles. I've had the pleasure of enjoying their tuna melt before, and it's always been a favorite of mine. Recently, I tried their Cobb salad, and I have to say, it was absolutely incredible - so incredible, in fact, that I'll definitely be ordering it again! The Lunch Lounge is truly a hidden gem - I feel lucky that it's close to my work. I only wish it were open later, but I certainly understand. My team and I always make a stop there for breakfast and coffee, and we're never disappointed. Went into the lunch lounge, meet a great guy named Tee, who you could tell was really into his job, or maybe he was the owner, I really don't know but he made me an amazing sandwhich..."The Italian Lover" & WoW! it was very fresh, he did up sell me into a meal deal w/a pasta salad, but it was all good. I think it was a pesto pasta, a perfect pairing w/the Italian lover. They were very fast and friendly, even though it was in the middle of their lunch rush. Very clean place, Thanks Tee!
